I loved this interview - what a great couple you two make! I would really like to see Doug interview Dr. Peter Attia, the doctor who focuses on longevity, and who wrote the book “Outlive”. It would also be interesting to hear what Dr. Attia has to say about some of theories espoused by Dr. Mark H😊yman, whom Megan recently interviewed.
Doug, I was sent here as Megyn plugged the interview at the end of her show (I’ve been a fan of hers for years) and I have to say I absolutely loved listening to you two. The children’s book you’re talking about is Love You Forever by Robert Munsch. I bought a copy for all of my (5) children when they were born, and I can’t even read it to them because I cry every time too!!

Wonderful conversation. I loved it all. You guys seem so genuine. Thanks for letting us in to see that. Megyn, I open TH-cam on my tv and choose your show, The Rubin Report, The Michael Knowles show, Ben Shapiro, Jordan Peterson, so on and so forth. I clean when I’m home alone and those are the shows that bring me joy. Y’all’s political commentary is educational but your personalities make it so much more easily digestible. The PG-13 aspect of it all scratches that itch as well. I don’t have time for reality TV and that’s okay. Y’all are my favorite reality tv. Love ya!

LOVED this!!!! I jumped right out to nab Megyn's book (already read Mysterious Case of Rudolph Diesel). Also appreciated the kid's book mentions - grabbed those for my grandson. Glad Doug has a you tube station now! You guys are so entertaining and informative!

Hey Megyn and Doug. I listen to Megyns show from Australia everyday. I also love to listen tto Dateline podcasts with Keith Morrison when I go to bed😊. His calming voice usually sends me to sleep, though I do get to hear some of the crime stories or go back to them the next night.
Re Barbara...seriously let it go, if its an audiobook. I bought the hardcopy for my dad...a big fan of hers...my mum and I listened to the audio...we dumped it after 400 pages around 11hours we decided that we were never getting that time back in our lives.😂 but my dad loves it.
Trouble is she doesn't take a breath or pause, you almost need a whiteboard to keep track!

Coming full circle on the cocktail theme for Doug's show ... Angela's Ashes author Frank McCourt is the brother of Michael McCourt, renowned, quintessential SF bartender ... his specialties were dirty gin Beefeater martinis (always three olives) served very, very cold, and Manhattans that rocked your world. Miss him; he only 'tended' bar at Original Joe's on Washington Square for a small group of patrons as he was unofficially retired but coming in and hanging out behind the bar a couple of hours a few times a week. He'd hired and trained my SO as a bar back and later bartender at Perry's back in the day (early 80s); we'd have a cocktail with him and they'd reminisce. He was a great Irish storyteller, had a wonderful sense of humor, and a gentleman. I photographed him, several of his concoctions, and my prize pic is of he and my Irish guy together, sipping and sharing a yarn. Thank you both for the 'flashback' ... and for this special episode! Team Megyn, and Team Doug!!

I watch Megan's show every day. Never miss an episode. Thanks for this interview. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Also, agree on the spending time with your kids watching favourite shows and Modern Family being a palette cleanser! Great way to describe it. It's one of the best shows ever. My daughters and I also always try and make time to watch special favourites together and it's a very important part of our bond.
That book is called “I’ll Love You for Always”. I was a kinder teacher and tested up every time I read it.

I absolutely loved this interview. I watch Megyn's videos on TH-cam and love her as well. But, I thoroughly enjoyed watching Doug and Megyn interact in this podcast. I'm kind of a dinosaur when it comes to things like podcasts and audio books, but will definitely be checking out some of the books mentioned and will follow both podcasts.

I have terrible dry eye and eye allergies, so I feel your pain. My eye doctor put me on Restasis about 2 years ago and it has helped tremendously. Systane PF is also helpful for dry eye. You can use it as many times a day as you want. I also use Pataday for my eye allergies. Without these eye drops my days are long due to my eyes.
