I'm still working on my Japanese comprehension, but I think the level name roughly translates to "You must protect the things" (守るべきもの)

@@RellePlays Ah okay thanks. I'm still not fully grasping why it's that way (I didn't know what べき was prior to today) - Is the reason it isn't "You must protect the things" because もの comes after 守る? I think the lack of particles is kind of throwing me off too.

It is a great level to be honest. Apart from the smart defense mechanic I really liked that you walk by the goal on the way to your task. It's a small detail, but I liked it.

Damn, right out of the gate that first level clear was seriously impressive. I think it might be lost on a lot of people who don't know much about Mario Maker, but what Ryu did there was insanely difficult to pull off despite it looking seemingly easy. I was fully expecting a death montage, game over, let's pretend that didn't happen and restart, type of deal there lol

@@nickschroeder8496 No it wasn't. That is a pixel perfect move and easily could have ended his entire run. Grand Poo Bear lost well over 50 lives trying to do the exact same jump.
That Insidious level was actually pretty good at first. The creator should've just called it a day after the coaster ride, and I would've said that was a good level.
Yeah it’s a good idea for a level and it’s done well, but the pick a door and the dev stars really dampen the experience

Hey dude thats amazing that he got to play your level!. Question: About the 8:00 minute mark that section in the game can be done without the P-Switch and the Yoshi?. I mean Ryu cheesed it?, or it was actually the intended way to do it cause it cant be done by spin-jumping on the spinies?

@@crisalidx5881 Your actually supposed to spin jump on the spinies :). The spiny spawn is just inconsistent. The coin trail is correct in some cases, and you have to go immediately to not get swarmed. It was a dream come true to see ryukahr cheese my level tho

I would like to see you clear all the uncleared levels om smm1 to truly beat the game.
There are 2 levels for sure cannot be beaten because they contain Phantom Jumps.
The first Dev star I was like oh that's a cool secret, the second Dev start I was like wow man you actually can't beat your own level

I remember that Shelly Drops the Cat level from someone, somewhere... maybe Thab got it in one of his Endless Super Expert No Skip Runs. What I remember is that whomever got it in their run (maybe Thab or Panga) lost because they didn't figure out how to shell drop it properly.

Man, Ryu is stupid good in Mario games in general. I remember watching Grandpoobear 1000 expert run and that run was killed by a T jump. 70+ plus lives wasted. Here Ryu does it in 3 lives.

Did Ryu just forget that he can reset the room on that second level, or did every instance of him doing that get cut out of the video? It really looks like he misses the jump once then instantly goes for the double shell jump (and dies) on every single attempt.
When poo came across a similar thing to that first level, he called it bullshit, RNG, hopeless
But the game is based on skill, not luck.

A pixel perfect level like that is what ended a GPB 1000 no skip run a while ago. Ryu nails it in 4 tries.
In spiny factory was a death exit with the yellow pipe that gets blocked by the spikys. If you are fast enough you can shortcut the hard section ;)
The "Insidious" level is pronounced "in Sid E us" (Darth Sidious from the Star Wars franchise is a play on this word). It means treacherous, or subtle in a harmful way.

I took a stab at making a level and yeah it probably did suck I didn't know about level indicators or what people deem as troll mechanics it was legit done in one night 😅
The reason for the stars too was I spent the whole night making the level and didn't even know that when uploading you have to beat the level from start to finish regardless of how many checkpoint you place in

In fairness the level probably was very bad as its a first attempt at someone playing the game but that doesn't mean I'm disgusting let's remember it's still only a game at the end of the day 🙂
