This is super accurate. That's like when I dress edgy and alternative. I receive more of a positive response from women than men moreso to the point where I would attract them physically-- Versus dressing "normal" and cutesy I receive more of a positive response from men. I could dress feminine in both styles and it'll still attract the same sort of attention. It's like men like the girl next door kind of look and us women tend to gravitate toward the more creative and bold looks even if they don't personally dress like it and sometimes that's actually out of fear. i never find "boy pretty" to be the conventionally attractive type but almost always the "girl next door" look. everyone can acknowledge that madison beer is attractive but in a realistic setting, a man is less likely to pursue madison beer because of how beautiful she is. instead, he is interested in the "natural, more grounded girl next door" whose beauty is approachable. a girl like madison beer is more likely to get complimented by women than men. men will like her, but from afar. cultural values also play a part in this (correct me if i am wrong). american men seem to be more into the approachable girl with a smile on her face who is low maintenance and dresses comfortable. arab men are more likely to be into the high maintenance girl. song ji-a (south korean influencer) was extremely popular among men and viewers in the first season of single's inferno (dating show) but she also comes off as a very high maintenance person. someone like her may not have been as popular in an american dating show because of how high maintenance she comes off as but in a country like south korea, where people praise such traits, she becomes very popular with the guys. the "unique feature" thing is not necessarily girl pretty because women are not a monolith. and wrt beauty standards, i think women care about it more because men don't really understand nuances based on appearances all that much.

Elmers purple glue stick down your brows and use a spoolie to lay them flat. Do about 2-3 coats letting the previous one dry first. Use a cool blow dryer to speed up the drying. The use a full coverage foundation or concealer over them and powder liberally. Its wont look so oatmealy. Drag 101.
As a woman, why do I inssticntly feel like I can just talk with the second makeup look, and she'll get me and vice versa. The first one makes me feel almost like she just wants to put me in my place or something. Both are extremely gorgeous btw, and this is probably just a me thing from years of being bullied by glam girls, but idk. I didn't realize makeup held so much power even in such subtle ways.

Interesting take though i don't think it's accurate. As a woman who dates women, I would say people value beauty based on utility. I think "boy pretty" applies to sex appeal. sexy / sex appeal (physique is more important than facial beauty, and traditional symmetrical beauty is not necessarily as appreciated as sex appeal/general attractiveness) This is because the utility in this case is sex/procreation. I think that "Girl Pretty" is about admiration. The utility and value for more women is imitation. So because most women are not seeking sex from another women, they will appreciate the beauty (facial symmetry) and inner beauty far more. hence why overweight women is still admired by women. Also men and women want different things down to our biological core Our Biological instincts govern our standards of beauty. Women seek protection and security because being pregnant and raising a child requires that. so women will value inner beauty initially, On a biological level men are hardwired to spread their seed, and traditionally didn't have to deal with the burdens and responsibility of child rearing. They selected mates based on physical beauty. in modern times men overprocreating will come with big consquences. but its still not as life changing as women's consequences. This is why in my opinion it takes men more life experience to realize the power of inner beauty.

To be honest i think a button nose it more noticeable due to the lack of a defined nose bridge. I have one naturally and the bridge between the tip of my nose and my forehead is literally nonexistent, i dont get any natural highlights there either. My face looks like as a simple face drawing with just the nostrils and stuff defined. Thats one thing that i think people imitating the look dont get as easily. Use an artists eye to really pick up on the detail. Removing the dark Contour on the sides of your nose would make it look more like a button nose
Now she is, but before her enhancements, she was definitely overlooked. Especially when the girls were growing up. Their mother definitely set the tone, treating Bella as the ugly duckling and not allowing Gigi to develop a personality and just focus on her model look.

i never find "boy pretty" to be the conventionally attractive type but almost always the "girl next door" look. everyone can acknowledge that madison beer is attractive but in a realistic setting, a man is less likely to pursue madison beer because of how beautiful she is. instead, he is interested in the "natural, more grounded girl next door" whose beauty is approachable. a girl like madison beer is more likely to get complimented by women than men. men will like her, but from afar.
cultural values also play a part in this (correct me if i am wrong). american men seem to be more into the approachable girl with a smile on her face who is low maintenance and dresses comfortable. arab men are more likely to be into the high maintenance girl. song ji-a (south korean influencer) was extremely popular among men and viewers in the first season of single's inferno (dating show) but she also comes off as a very high maintenance person. someone like her may not have been as popular in an american dating show because of how high maintenance she comes off as but in a country like south korea, where people praise such traits, she becomes very popular with the guys.
the "unique feature" thing is not necessarily girl pretty because women are not a monolith. and wrt beauty standards, i think women care about it more because men don't really understand nuances based on appearances all that much.
i agree with you. Culture impacts a lot. Certain cultures also value and praise particular traits. E.g., some places like it when women are bubbly, out going and cute. Other places value a woman who is poised, quiet and calm.

Elmers purple glue stick down your brows and use a spoolie to lay them flat. Do about 2-3 coats letting the previous one dry first. Use a cool blow dryer to speed up the drying. The use a full coverage foundation or concealer over them and powder liberally. Its wont look so oatmealy. Drag 101.

As a woman, why do I inssticntly feel like I can just talk with the second makeup look, and she'll get me and vice versa. The first one makes me feel almost like she just wants to put me in my place or something. Both are extremely gorgeous btw, and this is probably just a me thing from years of being bullied by glam girls, but idk. I didn't realize makeup held so much power even in such subtle ways.
I used to think that way until I became friends with a more girly glam girl & she was the sweetest person ever. 😊 We were in like 5th/6th grade
I have the exact opposite, girls who dress for conventional beauty standards scare me, but thats just cause of my personal experience. Usually they're the ones who bully others cause insecurity.

I think you are taking their personalities into account bcuz Blair def looks cuter (esp with low / no makeup) while Serena has fem fatale features. In the series Serena was made more approachable and has carefree boyish charms while Blair was the IT girl ✨

In my opinion for me boy pretty is the “common beauty” or the “standards of a pretty girl”, just like you said but girl pretty for me is when a girl isn’t “2024” standard but instead shines because of something in her making her stand out, per examples- actor from little mermaid, Anne, Bella hadid, for me it’s being able to be pretty while still being yourself and not being influenced by society. Someone who can shine without the switch..
i took a while to appreciate these new looks with the nude eyebrows but since ive been seeing people doing it and looking good i been finding very pretty and it looked amazing on you, i love natural eyebrows but the bangs really complemented the nude brows so well and i loved it
For drag makeup most use glue (glue stick) to start and block out the brows, so funny you tought of it by coincidence. Also girl makeup darling you are stunning! So beautiful (both with or without of course). You should do more experimentation with makeup… maybe lip combos??
Hairstyles are my fave honestly bc I don’t wear makeup ( my skin literally just doesn’t like it all ) like it’s really a selective day on when it wants to act right but yeah!! I love different styles and it definitely have a big part to play in.

idkk, its so weird that "girl pretty" means doing a certain makeup style that isnt "natural" and different from the "normalised" style of makeup, but boy pretty is having a makeup look that "isnt noticeable". i feel like this depends on the guys u talk with - guys who talk/have dated a lot of girls would know when someone is wearing a full face of makeup, and i dont think guys wont go for a girl just because she has colour on her face

Interesting take though i don't think it's accurate. As a woman who dates women, I would say people value beauty based on utility. I think "boy pretty" applies to sex appeal. sexy / sex appeal (physique is more important than facial beauty, and traditional symmetrical beauty is not necessarily as appreciated as sex appeal/general attractiveness) This is because the utility in this case is sex/procreation. I think that "Girl Pretty" is about admiration. The utility and value for more women is imitation. So because most women are not seeking sex from another women, they will appreciate the beauty (facial symmetry) and inner beauty far more. hence why overweight women is still admired by women.
Also men and women want different things down to our biological core Our Biological instincts govern our standards of beauty. Women seek protection and security because being pregnant and raising a child requires that. so women will value inner beauty initially, On a biological level men are hardwired to spread their seed, and traditionally didn't have to deal with the burdens and responsibility of child rearing. They selected mates based on physical beauty. in modern times men overprocreating will come with big consquences. but its still not as life changing as women's consequences. This is why in my opinion it takes men more life experience to realize the power of inner beauty.

To be honest i think a button nose it more noticeable due to the lack of a defined nose bridge. I have one naturally and the bridge between the tip of my nose and my forehead is literally nonexistent, i dont get any natural highlights there either. My face looks like as a simple face drawing with just the nostrils and stuff defined. Thats one thing that i think people imitating the look dont get as easily. Use an artists eye to really pick up on the detail. Removing the dark Contour on the sides of your nose would make it look more like a button nose
