How to make a pumpkin granny square | Beginner friendly!

- After searching for the perfect pumpkin granny square pattern, I decided I needed to make my own. It took a few tries, but I did it! This is my first time creating my own granny square pattern so it might not be perfect, but I thought I'd share it for anyone who would like to try! Get comfy because it's a long one! After working this pattern a few times it's easy to master, but I took my time so that people of all skill levels can follow along.

Thank you so much for this video. I loved that you told us how many stiches.... 3 in this stich, 5 sc for the next 5 stichs. That was super helpful for me and a lot of people skip it when doing video. It's really easy to het lost on the count which out it. I'm dyslexic and miss stiches some times so be able to go back and have that reference is so helpful for me. That you so much. My square came out great

Love the tutorial! I rec telling people to put a stitch marker/bobby pin/paper clip/scrap piece of yarn in the single crochet that we make to enhance the pumpkin/circle, so that when people get around the the slip stitches, they can tell them. Me, sometimes my tension goes too tight and its hard to tell a single from the slipstiches, lol! I might go back and do it that way to make sure I know where the slip stiches start..and
That’s a really good idea, I don’t know why I didn’t think to do that! Because I totally agree sometimes I can’t tell which is which either, and it would’ve been so helpful and more clear to just use a stitch marker lol

I'm here so I can make a blanket and use it this fall, but yes fall gets earlier and earlier online each year I swear!

Personally mine came out to about 3.75 inches, but you could always do more rounds on the outside to make your square bigger!
