Damn, what's that plugin that connects with iOS. Audiomux? Now that'd be interesting!!

Hi there, I've been up tonight trying to figure this one out: can you send midi cc to vst parameters from your midi keyboard/controller? I see you can automate or wiggle the knob with your mouse but how about using hardware? For instance midi cc works great when I use arturia standalone but I have yet to figure out how to get the synths to respond to knobs and faders while in Reason. Using a novation launchkey. Appreciate the insight!

I figured it out. Just needed to hit the remote button. Oh well!

Just about to reply to you with this video link, I'll send it anyway but I'm pleased you got it sorted out, assigning surface controllers and stuff in Reason could be better.

Thanks for your help! Happy I got it to work. Yeah it was not intuitive that I had to assign the Launchkey as both a Master Keyboard and then as a generic control surface to work. And when "In Control" is on, the knobs do different things too.

how do you map your midi keyboard to a vst instrument? My midi piano does not play the piano on the vst.

Go to preferences and locate midi control surface, you have to add you keyboard to Reason, if it's not recognised there is a general setting in there somewhere

      Well no. Not VST 3

eleven38 Sorry. Any instrument or effect that’s VST 2.4-compliant should be compatible. There’s automatic plugin delay compensation, though you can also set this manually on each mixer channel if you’d rather

I can't fathom how reason hasn't done this... They make probably the biggest change to the software that they've ever made, then don't explain HOW to use it all... WTF
