Okay. I get it now. Ripley is an upgrade to both the Echo AND the RV7000. Wow. getting my copy this week.
Yo we need that black Friday sale. Its too expensive even as an upgrade
Next sale will probably be a end of summer sale 3rd off.
What do you mean dude, it costs less than 1 night out in London 💀
people are paying thousands for hardware synths, yet people will moan for a whole suite of software that is a couple of hundred ??
@@fiddlestickzmuzik One of My physical desktop synths with similar functions to Polytone cost £800 used, £1200 new.
@@fiddlestickzmuzik not when they've already paid for the main thing. Previous upgrades were never this expensive for reason.
12 update was last update I paid!
❤ the tutorial ❤the new features of Reason 13 workflow. The software is undeniable rewarding thanks Chris for sharing your tips.
Great tutorial! You always give great insight
No better teacher of Reason Studio in these streets.
Nice practical tutorial of what in Reason 13 stands out.
The new features of Reason 13, like the new browser with tags or the new devices, are all pretty cool! Nevertheless, it’s not an option for me at the moment because I am in the fortunate position of not having to be productive FAST. 😆 In addition, some features, such as the fading of the sound layers in Polytone, can also be realized with other on-board resources from Reason. Still a great release and a cool video Chris! 🎉
Excellent!
great video. Cheers to all Reason Dudes out there
Awesome walkthrough. Love that little beat, too!
Thanks Chris, love your light tone.
Great tutorial! Definitely more on Polytone and Ripley would be welcomed!
Thank you, Chris! Thank you! Thank you!
Good Job Reason!...🎼🎸💯🔥
Nice Overview 👍
Definitely want to know more about Poly Tone.
I hate to bring up STEM separation. But it would be nice Reason Studio Daddy 🤣. Other than that....An outstanding update. Ripley is awesome! I can't say enough about the ease of use with SideChain Tool, Gain Tool, and Stereo Tool!!!
I feel you on the stem separation. And Reason doesn't miss when it comes to the quality of their in the box virtual instruments so whenever they do get around to it, it's going to be a real game changer.
Nice vibe and very good presentation!
I'm loving the 13 update. Reason has never felt more complete to me than now.
Pretty bummed that I need to pay another $200 for this, I was really excited and currently cannot afford it. FL Studio lifetime free updates is looking pretty appealing, but I can't afford that either right now.
Same here. But I dont see a huge difference in 13, do you?
@@pulsarstar Don't know, haven't been able to try it since I can't afford.
Logic Pro also has free lifetime updates and they just added Ai
I just buy the subscription when its on sale. 99 a year isn't that bad especially for the sound packs you get
😮 avtomatization👍Reason best
Great Video CB👍🏾👍🏾The window for the instrument, effects and utilities can barely fit the name of the device in it.. it’s in need of an upgrade as well however it seems it would be natural to just hover the pointer over the side browser and click, a prompt will then automatically ask if you want to turn on or off this feature to enable the side horizontal browser to pop out just in that general side area to be resizable while in use then will automatically zoom back in position once the program detects you are now back to other perimeters of the DAW.(mixer, rack or sequencer). I think that will
better utilize the new 3-D upgrades to visually be able to read and see graphics better and overall be a really appreciated and great upgrade to reason 13’s next update.. and I have more later.
Yes please show a video on ripley's delay, and I commend you on your tutorial video I haven't gotten to try reason through Keene yet how's my computer broke down but this video is an exciting preview
Nice tasty beat man.
I don't like all the traxks he makes & i know they are mostly demonstrations but THIS beat is 🔥🔥🔥
What producer thats out now beats you like
reason 13 is everything I ever wanted
I feel like a lot of people are sleeping on polytone. Personally I think it sounds excellent and I love how direct and immediate it is.
I agree , and it can go really wild thx to the morph feature
Love that Zelda shield
You explain well. Thank you. What do you think about the fact that AI can generate dozens of similar tracks in seconds?
Autmation in the controller section (midi edit) is really cool !
great software
When are RS going to add screen reader support? Reason 13 is even less accessible than older versions.
nice
Been a Reason user for years. Some nice updates, but they sure don't cut legacy members any slack with the upgrade price! In comparison, my Logic Pro updates are always free and they just added some nice Ai tools. Anyhow...it is what it is.
Keep doing your thing bro. I have to buy everything over but wouldn't mind if you produce and make a couple tracks for me cause I have been singing, rapping and writing music since the 8th grade in would love to let you hear some of my craft.
A couple of my refill patches are red folders since the upgrade. Nothing shows in them. What do I do?
I've been using Reason for years but unfortunately version 12 will be my last.
I don't understand where you're going. I am gradually starting to replace the sounds of my music with instruments other than Reason. I only use the Rack with the Logic pro. Paying CAD 259.00 for an Upgrade is ridiculous.
Polytone tutorial for some of those nice gospel slide type pads would be nice.
How much of that midi edit was there in 12? Because I have never used it, now I know its there I'd there to be more midi edit options.
in the old tool window ?
Tagging Ain't Working For Me
Nice but playing by hand just sounds more real than using sequencing
I got reason 10. Its started to cut off certain sounds in the middle of them playing. I recorded what it is doing and put it in this youtube video. th-cam.com/users/shorts0CORI4VF4qE?si=anJhU7CDfeI39gvH
200 FOR UPGRADE REASON STUDIOS OUT OF YOUR MIND BOYS
Depends which version of Reason you are upgrading. The older the version you have, the higher the value in upgrading.
This creates a problem for Reason Studios. This leads to Reason trying to push more people to subscribe (but some never will).
Reason should change differently for upgrading depending on your version. The catch is that life is trickier for Reason Studios when their user base is fragmented across so many different versions.
@@JamielDeAbrew I'm not feeling it. We have some basic business values that Reason Studios needs to observe more keenly. 1) Respect and value your customer base. 2) Reward loyality. This needs to be on a proportional scale so the more loyal a customer, the more concessions are provided. -- By neglecting these basic common sense principles of effective customer relations and oversimplifying the upgrade fees Reason Studios is shooting itself in the foot and driving users like me to alternative DAWs. Them's the facts.
@@endoflevelboss I’m not disagreeing with you. I probably won’t be upgrading my version 12 to version 13 for that $199.
Image you owned version 10. For $199, you would get all the improvements from reason 11, 12 and 13 for $199. That’s actually pretty good value.
Of course, the more users who wait to purchase multiple versions of upgrades simultaneously, the more Reason pushes its subscription. This just annoys those who will ideologically never subscribe.
Personally I think Reason should switch to having different upgrade prices for different versions. Eg maybe
$99 from Reason 12
$179 from Reason 11
$249 from Reason 10
$299 from older than Reason 10
v12 perpetual licence owners are treated like unwanted orphaned kids… 😭
there should be a lower update price, or at least some extra devices from the + version.
Why there is a coupon for + users only??? I don’t get it guys.
Unfortunately, this new browser sucks. it takes up almost the entire screen and is not very intuitive
I guess it depends if someone is using a large super high resolution screen or a laptop screen.
Reason gives free updates to those who bought it from January 1st 2023.
If you bought it on December 31, you are thrown off the boat.
Upgrade costs as much a s buying a new daw. Why?
Probably because they don’t have enough users to spread upgrade costs across.
too expensive
"expensive"
Youre Trippin dude its pro music production software
Good beat , dope video , not worth it , tried on another machine , there's pluses, but more minuses, like tool window , i am not usin it and there's is no edit tools as it was on top and all these windows , its Resondows now😂😂😂
Is this a joke? $199 for this Upgrade!!! Seriously, put the VSTs on sale separately if you want but for the rest it only deserves a free update...
Too expensive for an upgrade, even for me owning R12 presently.
i wont get it sry , all this tools are way to late , sorry i´ll stick with R12 in abelton thx for attention
