Question: Is the A340 currently the only 4 Engine, Single Aisle, Single Level Airliner in Service? At least with the Major Airlines?? The only other Quad Engine Planes I can think of are the A380 and 747.
They’ve been running a daily A346 service to SEA with a few random days swapped for an A343 (through Oct. 26). I’m curious, was this a maintenance swap or did you book this route on an A343 in advance? Also how was capacity? Great looking thumbnail 👍
That roar sounds amazing! Instantly liked!
Same sound as an Airbus A320ceo, because they share the same engines 😂
It SLOW!
Rumour has it, the A343 is still in the cloud layer....
😂
and still deploy its slats for lift assistance🤣
Just beautiful. Well, there is that thing with the weather ☁️
You know what's worse than a Drizzly, Rainy Day?? A Drizzly, Rainy Day when it's Cold as Hell!!
@@RedneckSpaceman I'm over in NL so I know all about it 😂 🥶
Great aircraft, great video. Thanks for sharing
Great video! thanks for charing
Someone once said the A340 has “4 hair dryers on its wings.” Still a beautiful airplane though.
some says this plane is powered by 5 apu 😅
@@힐만94 some say it only takes off due to the curvature of the earth
Great vid! I also was in the same seat in an A340-300 the sound was amazing from Frankfurt to JFK
Are the slats stuck..?
Which part of the plane is the foremost part during an A330-300 takeoff?
The thrust levers.
Stefan Lane-Hülsenberg did his retirement flight on D-AIGL, watch it on plane mania. Luckily, the old lady survived Covid and we can still enjoy her.
Other beast behinds queen of sky she beautiful I love her 747 😊😊😊😊 love A340 also beautiful take off
the slats are going in take off position -we took off lots of times from FRA 💖 feels great...
That was anything but slow😅
I watched the takeoff twice, it's really nice,,, Thanks
Still a beautiful aircraft though, I believe there has never been a crash involving a 340
err, air france flight 358 in toronto?
I should have stated 'fatal' crash but thank you for bringing this to my attention.
Still a stunning aircraft though and safe .
I believe all the A340's except the A340-600 had the smaller engines built for the A320 series. The 600 did get larger and more powerful engines.
A340-500 has bigger engines too 😉

It‘s not single aisle!
Ilyushin IL-96 (1 in service for the public by Cubana)
FRAPORT!!!!!
This Plane is named after the town I was born. Unfortunately I was never flying with her.
The A340 has a low climb rate in due to the underpowered engines
🛫🥎 (Earth curvature take-off)
Row 1 of Premium economy?
2nd row
My first look at the thumbnail: "why did they film that in B+W?". But no, it's just a rainy day in Frankfurt.
Die alte Wanderdüne 😅

LH were running the A343 daily last year when I took this flight. I booked it for the A343 (although a daytime A346 flight would have been great!)
@@VRef_Aviation Got it, just saw the flight’s date. That makes sense
I worked here...
Q: why does the A343 climb? A: it doesn’t, it‘s the curvature of the earth…
Hey it could be worse. It could have been an AeroSurce 727
Slow climb ? Rather a normal climb. A slow plane can't get airborne.
What a piece of underpowered crap... I hate that aircraft, Lufthansa will fly the shit out of it until nothing is Left..
Totally disagree the 346 is a stunning looking aircraft, so long and sleek, it's how a aircraft should look
