It baffles me that he was so confident in his take on The Hills Have Eyes. He didn't think, for a moment, that comparing inbred, cannibalistic savages to Native Americans, and cutting from movie footage of those cannibals being violent to footage of Black Lives Matters protests was not tone deaf, in any way? Ironically, The Hills Have Eyes COULD have been a great analysis piece on the history of the term hillbilly, and the misunderstood culture of Appalachia and The Melungeon people. But we all know now that he could never say anything remotely positive about Appalachian people.

I am also a staunch atheist. I think what I like about wendigoon is he is never judgemental the way so many other Christians are. I think you can find a lot of left leaning perspectives (doesn't mean they're inherently far left) in horror, but yeah it's not solely left. In an attempt to make an allegory to systemic oppression and racism, he equates the terrible cannibalistic hill people with oppressed people groups in America (chiefly African/Native Americans). The issue here is (as far as I know) the hill people are supposed to be the villains in the film, and comparing them to actual people groups indirectly calls the groups monstrous cannibals. This was 200% unintentional on his part, but you can see why people (particularly Native Americans) would get offended about his take

Two things: 1) Anyone who says that pedos who pull guns on cops getting put down is a bad thing. Some art is way too expensive. If that’s out of your range, it should not be expected for you to be willing to pay for it.
Depends on the art. My mother has been a painter and sculptor for multiple decades. She's 80 rn. Some of the materials are super expensive, including but not limited to, high end paints, gold leaf, stones, gems, metals, tools, and proper machines for clays and plasters.

As a staunch atheist, I must say that Wendigoon is my favorite Christian TH-camr. I always find that the respect he demonstrates truly takes his content from good to great.
I am also a staunch atheist. I think what I like about wendigoon is he is never judgemental the way so many other Christians are. 2) My family through marriage is Native American on both sides. My husband loves the name Wendigoon and loves that he tells Native and Appalachian folk stories. We don't want them to be lost to time. People hearing about the ghost lights and the wendigo, and learning to appreciate the culture and storytelling is a good thing. Both cultures have not really kept written records, and this may be the only way these stories survive.
The only people wishing death on pedos are people who want to appear morally righteous while saying something abhorrent. Laughing at someone dying is still a sick thing to do, regardless of the person who is dying.

Yeah, I’m an artist. Art is a privilege, not a right. If you can’t afford it, that’s absolutely fine. Just don’t beg for free art or anything like that, and artists won’t have a problem with you. Some art is way too expensive. If that’s out of your range, it should not be expected for you to be willing to pay for it.
Depends on the art. My mother has been a painter and sculptor for multiple decades. She's 80 rn. Some of the materials are super expensive, including but not limited to, high end paints, gold leaf, stones, gems, metals, tools, and proper machines for clays and plasters.
Artists are just upset at AI because it makes them obsolete.
