Gotta remember even if you dont get the highest kills in game with jets your still keeping the air superiority in your team and protecting your team from enemy helis that can be pain and kill infantry really fast if not dealth with.
So your value for the objective of the game is actually higher than you think from your score if a single plane can keep multiple enemy air vehicles off the air and make it so much easier for the friends on the ground.
Jets are equal if not worst than atack choopers ,play a real man vehicle like the AA if you want to support your team witout becoming part of the problem that its Broken Air vehicles farming kills nonstop
This is so true, i had a match that a heli was obliterating our team preventing us to control objectives out of 64 players in our team, only 1 bothered to try and deal with the heli (me) i dont know, other battlefield games i played AA was often used on both sides, this one seems like people are more assault focused in general
the thing is, jets can be really easily suppressed by ground units. you may not shoot them down, but pressuring them can keep a jet from doing their job effectively. also, an AAV will absolutely destroy a jet with one wrong pass so no one can tell me jets are broken OR useless.
bf1 was amazing, not at the start, but currently its really solid, catches alot of cinematic moments great performance, i run 120+ fps on a super old system, one of the best graphics ever seen in a bf game and good vareity of guns even tho its based on ww1, also gunplay is great
Bf1 felt so empty to me. Coming fro, bf4 with all those guns and attachments that i could grind for endless hours to unlock to having old ass guns that all you can do is stick a bayonet on.. no jets or helis.. no levolution, etc, so much was stripped from old bf titles. Bf1 was the first time in my life i ever got bored of a battlefield game.
All i would like is enormous dlc to bf1, like it so much more than 2042.
@@LegendInThaMakin No jets of course, but bf1 had 4 different types of airplane! The dogfighting was tons of fun. Still hard to beat Bf2/Bf3

@@LegendInThaMakin Honestly I felt exactly the opposite lol. Whenever I try BF4 I get bored because it just feel too dated and I hate that I have to grind weapons until they become actually decent.
can't wait for the AA fix, getting re-locked and hit after releasing the countermeasure is so annoying

Almost every good jet streak i've got always end instantly with a missile relocking while im 5 miles in the air on my team's side. Most of the time, it's 2 missiles at once, so i dont even get a chance to recover. So incredibly happy this bug is getting fixed

There’s been a recent discovery that binding something to nose down and using that to turn is apparently faster than pitching up to turn, it completes the loop faster. It kinda feels like they accidentally flipped the pitch up and pitch down speeds.
But what main things would you want to be done to jets to make them more effective?
So the weapons need buffs? More variety? Does the movement need work? What would your suggestions be?
All above,there's no variety and the cannons are still uselss
Probably add some more interesting secondary weapons without locking. Make the physics feel much less heavy or even invert the vertical pitch speed

I’m definitely trying the AGMs next time I’m playing.
Up until now I was literally focusing down the enemy’s air, and that, single handedly wins games for your team sometimes.
But the farm calls me. I need more kills. And jets are not effective against foot soldiers AT ALL lmao

on the nightbird, the relock bug just triggers my countermeasures, so I don't take damage, but it's still super annoying

3rd Person aiming works better for aim for some reason
Pitch Down and afterburner seems to turn faster than pitch up and slowing down like in previous games

What are your jet controls??? I mained jets for years growing up on console. But after switching to mouse and keyboard, I crash every single time I use them. How do are you suppose to maintain a pull if you have to constantly re align your mouse over and over again pulling it?

Little tip if something says missile incoming with no lock on notification it's a Sundance nade and u dont need to use flares

What? Flying with keyboard and mouse is much easier for fly control for me. You can use whole arm and hand like real plane
I usually barrel nosedive and pull up close to the ground to avoid the missile bug. Works 5/10 times.

Can you talk about the lack of unlocks for the chopper gunner (in hopes that DICE will see this and work on it). Transport vehicles have way more unlocks for their gunners, which is super disappointing because coordinating with my mate as the attack heli gunner was some of the most fun I had in BF4. Now he pretty much can't do anything other than sniping with the 30mm gun. Taking some of that power away in exchange for more coordination & higher required skill would be more fun in my opinion
30mm is insane vs other choppers and insane vs infantry from 0-1500m and insane vs transport vehicles ( a few bullets kill driver without blowing up the vehicle) and decent against heavier vehicles too. What more could you want?
@@painy6588 I actually don't want the chopper to be buffed. In my opinion it could even be nerfed. I just want more options to coordinate with my gunner, which in my opinion feels way more rewarding than stupidly farming easy kills

I don’t like that they got rid of the gunner box that would show you where the gun was pointed. In BF4 even without comms I could look at the box and know where my guy is trying to shoot and adjust accordingly. I don’t think TVs or laser guided missiles should be brought back but I do think the 30mm should be toned down, either with damage/damage drop off or accuracy because that thing is nutty. If the gunner could run utility secondaries like the gunner soflam from 4, that’d be dope.
@@Vargas3499 lmao,to bad seasons exist for this game,they have confirmed that 6-8 guns and 3-4 vechiles will be added per season,and with that you can say they will.probabaly update more on existing vechile loadouts,I mean hahaha do you think they are going to keep like one countermeasure for jets? Conquest and breakthrough records probably need to be specified because I doubt anywhere near 80s is possible in conquest right now.

I can't seem to find the setting for freelook, how do you change the keybinding / which key is freelook?
That bug is annoying but it can be avoid with both choppers. After getting lock you gotta fly low and it would hit the ground most of the time. I experience this bug alot more when you are high up in the air then flying very low.

Great flying. This is what I wish I could do. But I am curious to why the AA’s don’t smoke you. I’ve been flying on and off since BFBC2, jets in BF3> and once their AA is up I can’t get near whatever quadrant of the map the AA is sitting in. Doesn’t matter if I do high strafe runs like you do, or fast low passes..
If you’re jumping into assetto corsa, the mod community is amazing and turned the game into something beyond what you think would be possible from a 2014 release. If you rock VR, SOL, and shaders patch, it’s one of the most immersive and amazing gaming experiences you can have
Otherwise it’s really not worth it. The mods make that game complete. The physics of the normal game are just off

AC has one of the best force feedback and physics engines out there when youre talking sim racing... iracing is kinda meh. the new ACC is nice but missing the 'Seat of the pants' feel in the FFB that the original AC has that makes that game so enjoyable. rFactor 2 is arguably the best, but AC is at least top 3 when it comes to FFB realism.

Nice world record silk :D hope you go even further and break all records. Loved your aim at the dogfights even tho you where with the 30mm. Ive been triying 25mm - AGM seems to be good because you can actually fight both air and ground and the same time. Currently on 600+ on F-35 and 450+ on SU-57 FELON but not even close on world record xD. Afterall you have the best jet skills in the game :D! I would love if you could make a video for the AIM-260R RADAR MISILLES Can't understand them it seems to work vs Helis on slow speed but vs tanks or infantry not even 1 kill. Thank you

I find flying planes with mouse to be way harder than in previous BFs.
Like the plane just wont turn and sometimes I just crash the ground because I couldn't lift nose.

Air to ground missile runs supreme! Add that to the jet that can hover and it a wrap. Just sit over spawn and spam rockets at tanks. Whatever that last missile you unlock sucks. It’s only air to air. If they made it air AND ground then it would be worth it!
Is there an option to disable camera roll for jets in BF2042? I am used to BF3 jet camera view.

How do you do the 3rd person close up aim ?
3D spotting should return for jets to return the skill gap; in that way they don’t need to add op bombs. Since battlefield V primary machine guns are powerful enough to strafe run against infantry, just like battlefield 3/4 but better (knowing that we have zoom now)

how big is the difference between 20 and 30mm? i felt like with 20mm i cant hit anything on the ground, but that might just be because of this weird flight correction thing that makes my jet steer on its own (still havent figured out how to get rid of that, already disabled auto pilot in settings...)
also cant manage to get any real dogfights, i can just heatseaker everyone and turn indefinetly?
also last thought did i imagine it, or do skyboxes not stop your acceleration like in BF4, but actually slow you down to 0 very very fast? i dont know what it was but i noticed i lost total control while dogfighting and my speed was down to 0 suddenly. very weird.

I'm having a really hard problem aiming at things when I use a jet on controller and I don't know what to do. I love the jet but I just can't aim at things
how to adjust the visibility of the aiming circle, the default one is pretty inconvinent for aiming
Jets look so awkward. Such a shame that lock-ons are so powerful, for hand held and vehicles. Even with incoming patches , I don't think this game has a good enough skill ceiling to keep the hardcore BF players interested. Pretty sure I wont be sinking 2k+ hrs into it like I did with 2142, BC2 and BF4.

@@stlongrange8403 I was also referring to weapons such as the Jets AGM. Big damage, fast resupply, fast rate of fire.
Big rewards for little skill when using lockons.
2 shot kill for Stinger is not exactly weak either. Harder to get the kill on a Jet due to their speed but Helis are an easy kill.
I seem to be the only one who jumped in and the jet and helicopter controls were already spot on without tweaks. Not sure what people are talking about
How do u make your missiles kill of two hits? I have to hit like 40 to destroy a vehicle.
