Hi there. I have a Technics SL-QD33. Can't find what weight it aught to be. As you may know the weight isn't separate (unless a piece was lost over the yrs.)-just one piece w/ the numbers 15, 125 & 110 on the side. Ordinarily Id go for the middle # but most of my records are old & have scratches. Would a higher weight mask that? Thanks for your opinion~
Not sure exactly what you’re saying but you can get a white measuring thing I think for about £20 digital you put it under the stylus and it reads the downforce
Super clear !
1,75 gram .......... is that the same as 1/7 ounch ?
Awesome video ! Thank you ! 😄
After being watching your video, I went to check my turntable's tonearm if it was properly set up and realised I've lost the sub counter weight 😕

Is there a way you can add a weighted tone arm to a turntable that doesn't have it ?
blue tack and a 2pence used to work when i was 16 for my old hawkwind records 😖
Excellent.
Nice video. What turntable is that please?
I'm gonna say a Sansui SR222 MkII 😉
Thanks.
Where are you getting the 1.75 grams?
You check with your cartridge manufacturer for the recommended downforce first.
You didn't explain how you knew it was going to be 1.75 grams.
