Great video. Sounds like such a great week. I really love the flow state I get from some video games. I really liked the section about the duality of calm of the two games.
Huzzah! Glad it resonated with you! Have you had a chance to play both of them? Highly recommend both if you haven't already invested, not just for the Free Flow States. 💚
@@ArchivistShepard I put well over a hundred hours into Tears of the Kingdom. I have to be a bit careful with games like Tetris as it can really take over my life, although I did get a small hit from the Tetris movie this year. Most recently I found myself getting into that flow state with To The Core which was a perfect one more run get into the zone numbers go Brrrrrrrr game for me.
I think that was the perk of doing Tetris on a VR headset; my eyes can only take so much at a time before I start to get headaches and need time away. It's the best built-in contingency system. On trailer alone, I could see how To The Core would scratch that itch and put you in the zone. Incremental upgrade games like that are a dangerous one for me (most recent dive in was Hades), but damn if they don't do the job. 👍

@@ArchivistShepard That might be the best reason to get a VR system I have heard yet.
Holy doinks, this is quality. I'll be here to watch the channel grow.
Appreciate your comment, your support, and YOU! Hope the other videos strike your fancy, too!

You must! It's always a good time to play (or start playing) Tetris Effect!
