You'll git'r done Jack. You can use a cheap LF1-S-PIN flasher relay on those vape systems. They work with led without a resistor, though you might have to change out connector. The guy's on Yamaha-enduro forums are using them
Thanks Cain. I just had a chance to read through the Vape installation instructions that a subscriber sent me and it looks like all my figuring was correct. There are very minor differences between what the instructions were and what I ended up doing. That rear brake problem is going to take some more figurin' I'm afraid.

There is a diagram on Fix-it for the '76 DT400 that shows the plug with Yellow/wht, Yellow plug.
