The other day my reaper teammate got potg for a death blossom 4k but it switched to the enemy Rein's pov after like 1 second, most of it was him backing up, shield crumbling. I really don't know how they managed to screw up the potg algorithm so badly, on ow1 there were significantly fewer scuffed ones.

20:21 was me. I wish I had recorded the build up. We got team wiped I was the first to respawn. I teleported across the map heroically running back to the robot. Said in comms “I got my ult, I’ll clutch this bois” executed a perfect Ace, using the robot as cover and softening them up trying to bait out cooldowns and then reptile brain let go of the wheel and I totally forgot that there was a robot behind me and OT was ticking down. Immediately after the other team says “Reaper, we need to have a talk” I just sat there quietly with my head down.
Textbook C9. Congrats. Not one of these impostor C9 everyone is talking about, the real deal.
I saw that play, processed what happened for the next two clips, and got secondhand depression.
At least the potg was awesome bruh😊

The mercy one makes sense to me, the potg is determined by a “game changing play” and that rez mercy did allowed tracer to get that pulse play

So at 24:13 the Torb play, I submitted for my friend and he was literally sitting there damn near the whole game xD He killed someone one time with torb's gun and then the rest was either turret or ult lmao. best part is that earlier in the game three people ran through the door and just died, one after another. He stayed at that spot the ENTIRE time lmao

The sym potg actually happens a lot because no one in bronze wants to be the one to turn around and kill them and expects someone else to do it
If the first Mercy doesn't revive Tracer that Tracer wouldn't have a chance to using Pulse Bomb. Gotta give that credit to Mercy

Yeah the POTG bug is an interesting one. I had one as Cassidy but the POV swapped over to the Zen (the one I killed first) and just stayed like that.
I think my favorite part is the dramatic POTG music being accompanied by some of the most confusing plays I’ve ever seen

I have a friend whose funniest PotG was a Reinhardt running past him and swinging his hammer while my friend stood AFK as Reinhardt.
You know it's the new season PTOG's when it randomly changes perspectives, that bug is all too common for some reason.
4:00 - That happened on my POTG too. The POTG changed players/character mid-way through.
It was a diffrent person tho
I've seen that happen before too someone was playing and hit me a couple times then I killed them but then someone else killed me and in the kill screen AND potg the player pov switched halfway through
That first mercy play of the game was deserved. Her rez made the 4 man pulse bomb possible, mercy saw the tracer had ult so she risked her life to rez them for the big play. Actually gigabrain trade

I've seen the Mercy thing happen a few times. I think she gets all credit from the ressed character for a short time after they get up. System seems to consider the res to be the 'epic play' and not whatever the ressed person gets up to after the fact.
Just another reason we need some kind of shared PotG system. After-battle time frame is only 10 seconds long, anyways.

Recently got a play of the game in 1v1 where all that happened was me getting hit once and then it ended
U actually did complete the bingo fully, in one of the clips, torb said "im hotter than a furnace" x2, it cut the hotter on the first one so it sounded like this "I'm h- I'm hotter than a furnace"
my mercy potgs are usually: double kill and rezzing the one person, the other two didn't want me to rezz. I dont know how THAT first one even was potg-worthy XD

sometimes i cant help but wonder what goes into choosing these potg's, cuz sometimes you get a potg of a team wipe other times you get a potg thats literally just someone walking out of spawn at the start or someone dying in the middle of it
From my understanding, it's based on the amount of damage done in a certain time frame. This is why, you could get the final blow on the entire enemy team and not get it but a hanzo could get it for headshotting 2 people
I got a solo team kill as reaper today, and the play got stolen by a bastion that got 3 kills, none of them were solo kills or ult enders or anything
