Thanks brother I appreciate the great response! We sure had a blast doing it and will be sending it again shortly 🙌 going to school in Boca Raton, loved fishing that clear blue water
You know what? Your young…..this is what your supposed to do. Remember this….Everything you do now are your memories in the future. Don’t waste it….keep fishing. Great job guys!
You’re absolutely right! Ty and I are going to be hitting the water tomorrow on the hunt for sheepshead and other inshore fish! Stay tuned for another fun filled adventure! 😋
If you’re going to do it, make sure you aren’t alone, you have all safety gear, people know where you are, and that you’re aware of the weather conditions! That being said, have fun and if you’re comfortable with it, send it brotha!
Any chance you could let me know the brand and model of your makeshift live well aerator? Link on where to get it? Besides the Yeti trash can and the aerator, did you use anything else to make your live well, like filter, or anything else? Thx!!!
Thought I replied Ben my apologies! I’m not sure the brand because it’s Tyler’s but I know he Purchased it at west marine. It was a simple battle operated (double As) live well aerator. Cheers!
Just wondering? Is your live well Yeti trash can rigged with aeration (etc.) to keep bait alive? Or is it just water in a trash can with your live bait in it? Not judging! Not really interested in the care of the bait. I’ve got a small 13’ BlueFin Yacht with a 40 hp Suzuki with limited space. More interested in ideas to keep live bait in a limited space, which you might have solved. Is the Yeti insulated? Does it have to be? Thank you for your time!!
Thank you for the comment! And yes the trash can is rigged with a small electric aerator that is battery powered (doubled A batteries). It worked all day with no issues at all! If anything it was over aerated haha. For a makeshift rig, it works great and I definitely recommended if you have limited space and funds. I bet that 40hp flies too! The can is not insulated either and I wouldn’t imagine it needs to be. Obviously if you’re keeping fish, an insulated cooler of the sort would solve that. Cheers 🤙🏼
Yeah, I just got it a couple of weeks before I had to put it away for the winter in New Hampshire. Only got to use it twice. It’s a 1998 BlueFin Yacht, but the motor is a 2018 still under warrantee. It hums right a long. Looking for ideas and CAN’T WAIT until spring!! Your ad-lib Yeti live well is a GREAT idea!
I wanted to show you my new (to me) boat. I couldn’t post a picture, so I uploaded a 33 second video. Only got to use it twice before stored for winter. Thoughts? Ideas for upgrades? Link th-cam.com/video/INQenkZY3V8/w-d-xo.html
Normally we use either pliers or a longer de-hooker. This shark actually broke off next to the boat when we were trying to unhook it. Fortunately, we don't use stainless steel for this exact reason. The hook will either rust out over time, or fall out while feeding. Thanks for the question!
Nice video guys. My brother and I do this stuff in Fort Lauderdale on a 17 footer. Love the video.

how do you get the hooks out of the sharks mouth?
