An amazing character actress. If her name was on the credits you knew you were in for a real treat. A very talented actress who lit up every film she was in.
I have had an experience in a cemetery. My aunt and I took flowers to the family graves every fortnight. One day we were chatting as we placed the flowers and I was aware, out of the corner of my eye an elderly gentleman standing quite close. He was tall, dressed in a dark suit, a red and blue tie with whitehair brushed back. He was smiling and looked normal. However, when I turned my head he wasn't there. It was a happy encounter, as I think our energy drew him to us. I have also seen the spirit of a cat and one of my dogs.
Hi Paul, what a beauty Brenda was. That orb when you were at her grave!! 😮..... I'm into all things paranormal but that being said I don't believe everything is paranormal, I think it's healthy to make sure other factors are ruled out like you said. Personally, I do believe that's paranormal because 1) it's definitely not the rain, you were filming before and after the orb showed up and it was raining and nothing was seen then and 2) there's no light so it's not glare from a light source. I don't believe it's a bug either so looks like you've captured something 😊 xx

I genuinely believe Brenda came to give her blessing to you for keeping her memory alive, not just in the showing of her final resting place but also in the compassionate way you provided a short story about her life and work.
I definitely don't think you're bonkers Paul walking around a cemetery on a cold, wet, damp day because I would do exactly the same.
Being in a cemetery brings calmness and a silence that is so much appreciated.
I love cemeteries and I love just looking at the graves and wondering what all these people did with their lives prior to them leaving the earth.

She was a very popular actress but oddly only started appearing in British films when she was into her 40s. Shr appeared in a lovely film called 'A kid for two Farthings' alongside Diana Dors . Anyway well done for helping keep her memory alive as she had quite a good film CV considering her film career was really less than fifteen years. Her niece, Lois de Banzie died two years ago and had quite an extensive career in mostly US television and some big movies.

Brenda remains the only actress who ever caused me to well up, in her portrayal of Maggie, in Hobson's Choice.
Though it was ostensibly a middle class northern comedy from the turn of the last century, - it is for me, & will forever remain, the most beautiful depiction of what real love should be when both partners truly have each other's back against all of life's adversities.
The iconic moment for me, was when Will was told by Maggie to visit her ailing father to take over her father's business, which he could no longer run. She told the historically timorous & appeasing Will to stand up for himself.
To test her husband's new resolve, Maggie refused to accept the new name of the shop as Mossop & Hobson's.
'Nay lad! I'm not 'aving that!'
To which Will replied: 'It's Mossop & Hobson's, Maggie, - or it's back to Oldfield Rd for us!'
The camera panned to Maggie, whose eyes were brimming & her bottom lip trembling with love & pride in her husband, who after a life of servitude had finally rediscovered his manhood.. 'Alright, Will.. Mossop & Hobson's it is..'
In that 3 second shot of Brenda's face, she conveyed more emotion & meaning than 2 pages of dialogue could ever do..
That's an actress who understood the human condition perfectly.

Thanks for this one Paul. Hobsons Choice is never off our TV my wife loves the movie. We live near Salford and many of the land marks in the movie are still there. I didn't know Brenda lived in Salford which is ironic because she has no Salford accent in the movie but John Mills did.

Another of those once famous actors that I had never heard of but having looked her up I do remember her in The Pink Panther but never knew her name. This is why you need to keep doing these wonderful videos (despite a certain character making negative comments) because they bring to our attention people now forgotten who should be remembered for the career they once had. I’m sure those people that are really into films would know who she was but most of us didn’t until you told us. Keep up the good work and keep ‘em coming!

You reply highlights the issue. Brenda was obviously an actor known to you but not to me. It could be a generation thing or it may be that you have an interest in a particular type of film or films made in a particular era and are therefore familiar with the actors of the period. Many of us without such an interest (and possibly younger) often recognise a face but don’t know the actor’s name. The work Paul does in documenting these often long forgotten actors etc bring then to the attention of a new audience who may well discover their films for the first time and take the time to watch them. Sadly, as time rolls on, more and more such people will be forgotten and many of those may well be remembered by many of Paul’s viewers today but forgotten in a couple more generations which is very sad.

Wow at the end, the white thing at the end, definitely looks paranormal. I have a string type holder on my gimbal (Osman DGI), but my hand is usually through it, with my hand firmly on the handle. So if your hand was through yours, there's no way it can float up, with the wind.
I tend to do most of my paranormal in the evening/ stupid o'clock in the morning, but have done some during the day, even in some graveyards.

I would have to say that most definitely somebody was reaching out to you. I slowed your presentation down on my system and on my screen, you can see a grey wisp or mist in an arch form, from my left hand corner of my screen it goes up over your right side of your face, over your cheek, down under your nose while still being grey in colour it curves and ends with a slight smaller white mist puff just across from the date when Brenda Died. Thanks for posting an excellent video once again Paul. Sorry I missed the live feet my computer didn't let me know you were on. Hello Paul……yes,,..I’m a fellow investigator, and you do have to look at everything else it might be, before leaping on the word Paranormal!….but I this case, you didn’t have any other light sources, had just mentioned her by name, and I really do agree that her spirit joined you at that moment and showed herself briefly in that light form. Not exactly an orb, but would probably gone on forming into an orb if you had more time and hadn’t had to go,
That’s really brilliant that you had that happen. You have visited so many graves to date, I’m sure people will wonder why this doesn’t happen more often to you,. Water is said to be a good conductor of spirits ,they often seem to use bodies of water, rivers etc to move , so in view of the heavy rain being. Of assistance, and hearing her name mentioned I’m sure you do have a light anomaly or orb if you prefer of This ladies spirit. Well done Paul. RE--the lights. 8 months after my brother died , who used to live with me. I started getting sounds of door tapping, movement of my bedroom door handle, and loud creaking of the landing floor boards. NOWHERE else in the house. I had a Scanner fitted overlooking the landing and left the light on overnight. On the first playback, a low level light shot accross the landing and disappeard.
The scanner has been on since, but didn't record anything else.--yet.

Only just watched and noticed the white anomaly straight away. That was really cool 😊.
It can't be light reflecting off the gravestone as it looked to dull for that so it's very strange but I think you have to have a open mind as to what it is because a lot will it's paranormal and allway's going be hard to say it's paranormal but thing's like ghost people have said they do exist for hundreds of years so I think there must be something in it but very hard to prove I think there is as I have heard my partner's mum and at the time she had been dead for at least 3 years we looked at each other and said did you hear that it scared me at the time. Great video.

I had a pub in North Wales over 20 years ago now and I saw a few orbs. One in particular which will always stay in my memory was a beautiful Orb, not only did we see it we heard it too. A beautiful blue white ball of energy. It flew around a few inches from the ceiling. A member of staff was there to witness it too.
And before anyone says it was too much spirit from the optics , I'm not a drinker.
Sadly the pubs now a vets. Sign of the times.
Often, such revelations are considered to be Ball Lightning, which science cannot fully explain
@Philip Croft if you are ever fortunate enough to see or witness an orb only then will you truly understand. To pass what we saw that evening as ball thunder is not even close. Orbs are not like a strike of ligtening. They move around, they hover, they dance. It's a beautiful experience. Please don't doubt others theories if you don't have the answer yourself.

Hello again Paul. I seem to be the only one who noticed a spirit face on the right of the gravestone. It does not look threatening even though it has an open mouth. As for the orbs? Yes, I think that is some form of spirit. I am a sceptic but a believer, I always disbelieve something unless I know that it is correct. There was a lot of evidence for everything in that episode. Would you go back to that grave if you were in that cemetery again? I know you are not frightened of the paranormal but I am always happy to know that you protect yourself. Hi Paul. I saw the patch of light but don't know what it was. You said you didn't want to influence us, but please tell us what you think it was. I quite like cemeteries but only on sunny days. They can be too creepy otherwise. Can I tell you about an incident that happened to my family in the 1970s?
My mum, brother and I took our border collie for his usual walk through our local churchyard, St Stephen's, Treleigh, but on this occasion he didn't want to go through the gate. Mum went through the gate first, hoping that the dog would follow, but he wouldn't. In fact he was trying to get out of his collar. After much coaxing he eventually went through the gate, but very reluctantly and with his fur in a ridge along his back.
In the 1970s church doors in Cornwall were always unlocked. We got to the door and tried to turn the big iron handle, but it wouldn't move. Just as we were walking away there was a loud clunk and the heavy door opened. The dog's fur was sticking right up and he started to growl, but there was nobody there as far as we could tell. However, the dog continued to growl while backing away, like he could see something we couldn't.
My brother walked to the door and stepped inside the church, thinking there was someone inside. There was no-one there, but at the rear of the church was a tressle with a coffin on it, presumably for a funeral that was going to take place later that day. This completely spooked all of us and after my brother had shut the door, we left as fast as we could. I couldn't bear to go through that churchyard again on my own afterwards and the dog decided he didn't enjoy that walk anymore either.
Years later when I was old enough to drink I had a few pints in the Treleigh Arms, next door to the church. I had a choice of going home the long way or taking a shortcut through the churchyard. Emboldened by alcohol I decided I'd take the shortcut. The feeling of fear returned immediately and I ran as fast as I could, convinced something would grab me. I really don't like that place at all.

I must admit I like things like that, as strange as it sounds. Like I said in the video, I have investigated the paranormal for over 20 years and used to run my own investigation team.. so I quite like a little scare now and again 🤣🙏
