Hi Kevin, Thanks for that and really glad you enjoy the outings. No clear tops this time but a nice bit of exercise just to keep the wheels turning. Cheers
Good day for excercise Charlie, even tho it’s clagged in still good to get out. Don’t mind the clag so much, as long as it’s not raining also. Need to revisit these in winter conditions ATB Frank
Hi Frank, We enjoyed the day having started with low expectations. Very little rain and light winds all helped and good to keep the hill fitness up 👍 Cheers
Thanks for sharing. Lovely place and really good paths most of the way. What a strange summer it’s been. I was up doing the Glenfinnan horseshoe on Saturday and got an absolutely dooking almost all day. Best wishes Murdo
Hi Murdo, Your right, the weather is so variable and not particularly warm at height. You've just got to hope the good days match your availability for getting to the tops. Cheers
Fascinating area, we went often, remote hills..we went to the falls of tarf on the return, then down the fascinating Tilt valley,Scotland's most interesting river in my view.. lots of rapids and a massive volume of water.. powerful ❤
Hi Andrew, I agree, Glen Tilt is one of Scotlands finest particularly in the Autumn when it's stunning. You just need a bit of effort to get in and see it. Cheers
I managed these one Armistice weekend walking in from the Linn of Dee to Blair Atholl. It was with the first snow of that winter, but before the motorway paths your video shows.
@@charliemccartney7055 We took in some hills on the Saturday before camping just past the Bedford bridge in Glen Tilt. Then we walked over Being a' Ghlo on the Sunday to meet the coach in Blair Atholl. It was an Edinburgh University Mountaineer Club (EUMC) mystery meet. We had no idea where we were going until we got on the coach at Bristo Square. Mystery meets usually involved a walk through, so the crag rats and ice freaks could enjoy a stroll with mere mortals. Nowadays the club has divided with EUMC doing hill running and climbing, and the walkers having their own club using bothies and club houses. I think there is also less rough camping. Back in the late 70s we took two coach loads to Glen Coe for the Fresher's meet in October. Imagine 100 Yummicks, walking and climbing, spread out from the Etive Slabs to the Maiden Pap. A meet leader's nightmare, sat in the Clacaigh Inn waiting with route cards for groups to be ticked off. I did it twice and never lost a single person.
Good stuff chaps. 👍 This has been a strange year for weather with conditions being all over the place, and forecasts being a wee bit unreliable. Stay healthy lads.
Hi David, Its the wind that's been the most unusual as it continues to carry a "wee nip" that isn't normal for the summer months. It could also be our old mens thin blood 🤣 Cheers
Very good video again really enjoying following your adventures

Good to keep the legs moving Charlie 🥾 but the clag ☁️ is a right pain 😢 atb Brian 👍
Hi Brian, We had a good idea of what to expect and clear tops were always in doubt but enjoyed the exercise on the higher tops. ATB, Cheers
Nice one chaps. A fine day apart fae the clag
Hi Kev, Just one of these days to get in the zone and plod on 👍 Cheers

Hi Derek, Many thanks... it was a wee bit claggy but a good day nonetheless. Cheers

Hi Neil, This weather is all over the place. There is good days but the trick is matching them with your availability. Cheers
Morning gents. Looks like you had very similar conditions for my jaunt up Sca fell yesterday. Nothing to see above 800m. 🤣
All the best
Dave
Hi Dave, Yes, we got exactly what was expected. but still a very enjoyable day 👍 Cheers
A great effort with the Munros in the cloud. Is this summer? At least the view opened out as you descended the final Munro. A great video.
Hello, You get the sneaking suspicion that a prolonger summer isn't going to happen for us. Before we know it the snow will be on the tops 🤣 Cheers
Good stuff chaps. 👍
