  • Site prep, site prep, site prep! So much work has to go into what looks like not a lot of progress...but its this part of the build that lays the foundation for what can be done in the end!
Again, I am not a professional and I'm making no attempt to teach anyone how to do their own projects. Always check with your local area before working on a project like this.

Amazing how simple everything can look when you speed everything up! Hope your back recovers quickly. (And thanks for all the gratuitous shirtless shots!) 😜

So great project. No more dukeys in the dirt is probably a good thing as well. But here's my question. Why did you do all that digging with a shovel?? Wouldn't it have been easier to rent some equipment that would've made it go a ton faster and, more importantly, easier on your back?? Not that you didn't do an amazing job, but holy crap, that was some back breaking work...clearly!!
Wait. What?? You aren't a professional?? Why are you on TH-cam University if I can't use this digging tutorial to tell me how to do my own project?? Are you telling me I watched this gratuitous nudity purely for entertainment purposes only?? I don't think so. I don't care what you say, I'm totally following your instruction to dig up my back yard so I can have a dukeyhouse just like yours. If it doesn't go right, it's your fault, and I'm coming to Washington and using yours!! Fair warning.

bahaha warning heeded 😂 theres loads more digging to do once we start working towards the pole barn so Ill be renting bigger equipment for all of that. For this portion, I was digging maybe 20 foot sections and all around either electrical, water, or sewer lines so I wouldn't be able to take a machine too close to those areas. Then I'd end up spending hundreds on a one day rental and be able to use it for small sections in between the utility areas...

@@BibiaBus Looking forward to seeing what you accomplish with a few power tools!!
