    Same here, I learned so much about After Effects from Aharon, Eran and Andrew. Without these guys I would probably never sat down and learned After Effects. Great interview!

    I think, moral of the story, is that I just want to work at School of Motion. 🤔 For educators, I think that's the holy grail we're all looking for! Great ep, gents. Aharon, I don't think I would have picked up Particular back in the day had it not been for your videos! Now, we're all simming Houdini particles and running stuff in Niagara. You were the catalyst. Who would have thunk? 🤷‍♂ Thanks again, y'all! Cheers!

    I don’t think shyness is the right word. Maybe the fear of failure, getting fired, or some ego tripping/insecurity thing going on. But yeah, gotta get all baggage on the table but bluntness is lazy. Approaching it from a collaboration mindset goes a long way

    • @RyoMassaki
      @RyoMassaki 23 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      I think it is the right word, otherwise you would be able to describe it with a better one. I am shy when I am insecure. I compensate with a tendency for perfectionism. If I know what I am doing and talking about I turn into an outgoing introvert who can take on everybody in an debate.
      Bluntness isn't lazy, its bold and a sign of confidence. I don't care about authority and position in an hierarchy, if you're wrong and I am right, you'll probably hear about it. Collaboration isn't productive if people tiptoe around the truth because they'll rather not hurt others feelings. Feelings are transitional (and often deceiving), truth cuts through all the bullshit and sets people free (even if it hurts at first).

    I wish paying for software meant the company is obligated to help you out of technical jams, except that is not how it works out especially if you are not a big studio who is shelling out thousands for company licenses.
    On Blender, software companies may try catering to studios as a priority because the studios pay the most. However, the future of software depends on younger users learning the tools as they move to professional arena. So, if Blender is expanding its user base with younger generation what does that say?

      I think what I was saying was - we got the script to him and he liked it so much, he was willing to do it for free. And as a result, the film we thought was going to be the lesser, Patton jumped into and made it much bigger.

    I've been on a personal crusade agains Adobe for quite some time now. I've found that Apple Motion does almost everything I ever needed to do in After effects, faster, cheaper and better. It's a shame it doesn't get enough recognition.

    Yeah… don’t diss on Blender and their community plz, especially if you don’t even know the tool or contribute anything to it :/ Just because it’s free doesn’t mean it’s not sustainable either, lol. I know too many pro animators who have switched to Blender and never looked back.

    • @AharonRabinowitz
      @AharonRabinowitz 24 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @artandgrow9240 Blender is powerful and has a great user community, and even better user generated additions. There was no dissing on blender or the community. All that was said was that big studios won't bet their production on open source software with no official support team, no matter how good it is. It's too risky in the production process. There may be a few exceptions, but as a rule, that's just how it is.

    yeah I was programmed into that from being abused from basically a baby, always cowering in fear from a stick or a belt; this is why I encourage ppl to call CPS, the cops or leave if they can at 5 years old... often times 5 year olds cannot do that, and go on to experience decades of abuse and develop this way, others also become abusive in development... some good families tend to learn love, regulation and being outgoing
