Let's not forget these three murderers had actually gotten away with this crime - until the general public saw the video. We need honest people to monitor our District Attorneys so we will know who they are letting off the hook. Jackie Johnson will be next to get sentenced.
@Steve W well done 👏 you got it figured!! I will go so far as to say Ahmad entrapped these good citizens by choosing to die when he could have surely made different decisions(like Not dying!!) and now look Good God fearing men will rot in Jail when they were Only doing their God given right:- To protect property over people!!!! What a shame, What a shame😔
@Steve W Ahmad Arbery didn't know what was happening because those murderers never alerted him that they were conducting a citizen's arrest. The only thing they said to Arbery was, "Stop, we want to talk to you!" Gregory McMichael even yelled, "Stop, or I'll blow your fcking head off!" Ahmaud Arbery did exactly what I would've done if I were being chased. Even if Arbery had thrown a stick at them, that would've been the right thing to do. I agree with that old proverb, "The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing." That's why Twelve Good Jurors listened to the case and convicted those Three Evil Men of murder!
@Steve W wait for what police, the McMichael NEVER CALLED THEM. Travis didn't have a phone, he thought his Dad called them. A neighbor did call the police when he saw Aubrey running, that's why the police got there so fast after the shooting, when is the time the father did call...I am sure you didn't watch the trial because he would have know the CRIMINALS revealed "they trapped him like a rat", they used their vehicles as weapons. If you had listened to the trial, the actual evidence and the counts brought against them, you would have known this was a blatant murder of a black man who normally jogs through that neighbor. If Travis wanted to JUST TALK to Ahmaud, WHY DID HE GET OUT THE TRUCK WITH A RIFLE, when his DAD was already on the back of the truck with a 357 magnum. Bryan who claimed to just be an observer was also giving chase blocking his ability to keave that community. He was running for his life for over 5 minutes with guns and vehicles used as weapons. But being that you think they are so guilty, obviously those Federal Hate Crime charges filed against them see differently. Thank God those jurors (9 white woman, 2 white men, 1 black men) looked and saw the evidence, realizing this was a lynching, that the McMichael made themselves Judge, Jury, and Executioner - the tables were turned on them tho. Oh and by the way, your argument is prejudice to facts. Travis testimony Killed any defense his father or Bryan's lawyers couldn't even argue. Tge defense RESTED after his testimony, he incriminate THEM ALL. OH and that atty that refused to charge them for the murder cause she was a friend of the father, She's Next. She NOR them never thought that video would be made available for the world to see.

If all men, not only in the US, but worldwide, behaved in such a manner as this judge, there would be no hate in this world. What a wonderful job he has done. Just awesome. Thank you Judge. You are such a great example to everyone.
The property owner reviewed his surveillance video and testified that Arbery did not take anything from his house under construction and believed he stopped there to drink water from a faucet on the property. His surveillance video caught many others visiting the property including children and a white couple. In addition, the property owner testified that he did not give permission to the McMichaels and Bryan to step onto his property (they also trespassed) or confront Arbery. All they had to do was mind their own business and this tragedy would have been avoided. People need to stop making assumptions.
You're right. They need to stop making assumptions and also need to stop acting on their prejudice and assumptions. No one else was confronted, accused, and murdered by them and that means something. Either way, these men are paying a different kind of ultimate price. It's poetic justice that two are sworn officers of the law so their violent behavior makes absolutely no sense. This idea of "preventing crime" by keeping out the bad folks and then determining that the "bad folks" only exist among one race is what makes the criminal justice system warped. Ahmaud Arbery was a man who had every right to jog down a public street without being stopped, questioned, accused, and in this case murdered. He did NOTHING to be on the receiving end of a maniac's rifle. He was gunned down in broad daylight like an animal. The sad thing is that people had more compassion for the dogs that Michael Vick killed in his dog fighting arena (btw, Vick was horrible for doing that) than they did for this man. Some are STILL advocating on behalf of the McMichaels and that's an incredible shame. Even the logic of thinking that a thief would casually take a jog through a neighborhood that he allegedly burglarized a few weeks before and do so in broad daylight makes not sense. In fact, most thieves that go into neighborhoods like that have cars and they don't revisit the scene of the crime. And, who steals and jogs around with the loot? Makes no sense! Last, I hope the real thief that stole the stuff--probably a neighborhood heroin opiod addict--- is aware that their crime set off a horrible domino effect that led to murder and the incarceration of three men. Perhaps they feel a tinge of guilt about that.

Ya. It is not surprising. If you chase someone... And assault them... It is not self defense. You can't think that through? Chasing someone down and trying to claim self defense is absurd. If you chase someone... You are not afraid for your life. Stop being absurd and crying about it.
100 percent true. These idiots were guilty as changed and deserve what they got. Same goes for the fools that chased and attacked that kid Rittenhouse. I'm glad the jurors and judges got it correct in these two trials. There is some hope for the criminal justice system. Also the media needs to stop spread hate and racism to divide people's just wanting to live in peace.
I can't get enough of watching these three murderers hearing their fate. Sure don't look they're happy but that tragic day. All three were so proud and boosting. Roddie did everyone a big favor for filming it...
I'm a strong 2A supporter who also believes that a community is safest when people are willing to step up and confront wrong doing. But that's not what happened here. This is the right decision and I'm glad to see it.
Dude what are you talking about. Arbery was robbing people's houses, he's on video doing it. They confronted him and he attacked and tried to take their weapon. Have you actually watched any of the videos or did you just listen to what the media told you.....
I actually watched the bodycam video where Arbery was being questioned and almost tased by the police. In that incident, Ahmaud also did not do anything wrong, only because he was just sitting in his car on his only day off from work. I think in that incident police was not wrong to check, but who like to be questioned by police? Ahmaud was a little irritated in that case and gladly nothing worse happened. If I was Ahmaud, I would certainly also felt angry when three over zealous people chasing me and falsely assuming me did something wrong. How could someone expect a young man act perfectly "rational" when armed people chasing you in truck? People should not plant impressions from the past to a specific situation. You have to check if anything is lost, before assuming someone stole something. It is reasonable to be alert and keep a watching eye, but that does not mean you should act more than that.
Common sense and manners go a long way in life. You have think defensively, just like when you are driving. Why not park in a shopping center, Home Depot is a great place to park away from people. The reason for health clubs is to be safe. People jogging are at risk unfortunately. Mollie Tidbits is an example. You can get hit by a car also. Better safe than sorry will save your life.
@@cleew8762 I don't understand your point. Are you suggesting Ahmaud should not have jogged or gone into a house under construction? Where is the common sense there? Plenty of people in our neighbor hood check out houses under construction, even more people jog on streets.
@Boyitellyouhwhat.2 Where is the evidence? Who's being stupid here? Just because a black kid stole something, you can't automatically assume another black kid in the neighbor hood did it. In our neighbor hood all car breakins were done by white teenagers. Should I chase down every white kid who look at car and try to "case" it?
unarmed is not the issue. Mr. Arbery was innocent and there was NO reason nor justification for these 3 men to approach, detain, harass or use lethal force against him.
@Erik Kartman No man on earth is dangerous to me if I am armed, they are not, and they have no idea I intend to shoot them as soon as they turn their back to me.
XTRABIG a guy taking your gun that’s in your hand and it goes off...that’s on Aubrey. It was attempt to detain(which he was guilty of a crime). Big difference of being attacked and just shooting a guy who is away.

I will go so far as to say Ahmad entrapped these good citizens by choosing to die when he could have surely made different decisions(like Not dying!!) and now look Good God fearing men will rot in Jail when they were Only doing their God given right:- To protect property over people!!!! What a shame, What a shame😔
@Steve W
Ahmad Arbery didn't know what was happening because those murderers never alerted him that they were conducting a citizen's arrest.

@@sunflower5864 So what is your point? Whatever this judge's personal views are, he did a lot of good by his behavior in this courtroom.
No prejudice
