it's twitch policy that if you simulcast you can't have both chats in the same window. You can have both chats on screen, just not in the same chatbox. So you can literally have one that's twitch chat and one that's youtube chat
Does anyone know why is that? Such a weird and arbitrary rule.

I still fail to understand how a box that combines the chat (or activity in general) of multiple platforms on the stream would cause the twitch community being excluded from the live stream experience where two seperate boxes would not. I would understand it if it were something like "if you show activity of another platform you have to show the same or corresponding activity from twitch as well (e.g. chat messages, new subscribers/followers, cheering"). But like this you'd even be allowed to actually only show TH-cam activity on the stream and ignore Twitch completely?

Well tbf keyboard is almost always at a disadvantage vs every other method of input in racing games. Just like mouse will always be better than controllers in fps games. Thats just how things are, theres a reason you dont control the steering in your irl car with 2 buttons

Seeing you 1shot all those maps is a real bummer but... well, i have a 58min time on Mindor at least :D - and true enough, i really enjoy the game with my daughters commentary

I enjoy seeing how long it takes to clear a map. I actually find that part of showing the timer satisfying.
Especially with the edited videos where you can see the timer skip 20 minutes trying to get a trick
it's so interesting seeing how the normal car requires wirtual to use a keyboard, snow car requires wirtual to use a joystick, and rally car requires wirtual to use a little bit of both. will future cars make wirtual have to use neither and jump to a different driving mechanic
Make it so the front tires and rear tires steer separately so you need a controller to drive it well, the Drift Car XD

i started playing with a controller but tried keyboard and it seems way easier. but i don't want to use a keyboard on the couch and the dpad just isn't as good because it's one thumb vs three fingers.. is there any way to make controller as usable as kb?
I actually watch two people who stream to both yt and twitch, and they've both said that it's not that you can't show yt chat, it's that yt chat and twitch chat have to be shown as seperate chats, so they both show two chats on both yt and twitch.

16:10 that's actually not quite right. The rule is that you can't merge the chats, basically, you can't have messages from twitch chat and TH-cam chat show up in the same chat feed, they need to be separate chat feeds. You also don't have to display chat at all if you don't want to, or you could only display TH-cam chat. Their is a small asterisk here that if you (or any streamer) are under direct contract to twitch or TH-cam then you have to follow the rules of your contract, but given that you stream on both twitch and TH-cam it is pretty obvious that you are not under direct contract.

(an example of this in chat could be like a fossabot sending "I also stream on youtube" every 5 mins or so. that would be blocked by this rule)
