It's really interesting thinking strategy for these bingo games too. Like I don't think the strategy is for everyone to always panic switch to block a team from winning but instead have a couple panic switchers and everyone have their own maps they're specialised at. Like for someone at Wirtual's level, he could probably choose 3-4 maps to ensure will always be in yellow's control (maybe choosing two as aggressive on the same line and the other 2 maps as defensive against another team) and if you're able to lock those 3-4 maps for your team without wasting time on any other maps, that seems to be the most high value strategy. Having a couple flexi players on your team is definitely needed too plus only a certain percentage of your team probably has the skill to hunt maps to be unbeatable but its an interesting thought what the optimal strategy is for such large scale bingo teams.
it's not just being used to a higher framerate but mostly due to the change in framerate, if your framerates suddenly drops from 100fps down to 60fps that's as bad as 20fps suddenly dropping to like 12fps it causes a hitch in the motion which makes it difficult if not impossible to keep focus and react to anything
Because it is an even grid, all the maps across the diagonals has 3 bingos possible and all the other have only 2. So both Wirtual and the editor are confused. Or maybe I'm confused?
Things in the center of the board can be parts of more variations of any 5 tiles in a row than can edge pieces. As you go inwards, the numbers of configurations of bingos the tile can be a part of increase, increasing it's value on a vacuum. Consider an edge tile, say top middle. It can be an end to 3 configurations of bingos (left, right, top) or the middle tile of 3 configurations (mid left, center, mid right). A tile in the center of the board can be the end via left, right, and top as usual, but it could also be the bottom of a bingo line. Similarly, it can be the middle part of a bingo line like the top tile, but can also be the middle part of a line vertically. Wirtual is correct and the editor is confidently incorrect.
Another way to look at it is the maximum number of adjacent bingo squares an edge can have (and so can be part of a bingo via) is 5. The maximum for a center square is 8. Therefore there are more directions for the central squares to be parts of bingos. If you just raw draw it out, you'll see an edge near the center of an 8x8 grid can be a part of 6 unique bingos including diagonals. A center square can be a part of 13 unique bingos, more than double that of the edge piece.
@@Glass_NinjaDiagonals can be part of 3 Bingos, horizontal/vertical/diagonal and all other just 2 horizontal/vertical. Neighbours, or the amount of them does not matter whatsoever because you can capture a tile anywhere and don't need the neighbour first. Same counts for "things in the center", unless the board has a center square that would be able to get 4(all possible directions) bingos but the board here is even (8x8) soit has a 2x2 center. Diagonals have 50% more possibilits to generate a bingo if you don't take the already captured squares into account, making them superior for keeping posibilities open.
@@Glass_Ninja A tile can at most be part of 3 possible bingo lines since it is an even grid and doesn't have a center tile. Only tiles on the diagonals are part of 3 bingo lines (diagonal, horizontal, vertical), while any tile that is not on the diagonals can only be part of 2 bingo lines (horizontal, vertical).
??? I swear I have seen you play this bingo multiple times now already. Are you uploading this content multiple times? I'm pretty sure I didn't see it live, too.
At least one of the clips from this was uploaded to Wirtual Clips before. From what I've gathered, they tend to push out content in the form of clips, shorts, and full videos, so it's possible to see some things three times. Clips don't require much editing obviously, so I guess they come out before the full video
I am late on this, I am curious what happened with the map mud hills. for the longest time it was unclaimed. Is it a broken one that someone did in the editor like Scrappie did one time?
your strategy for this is awful. you have to secure maps that will defend and attack at once and focus. you, as a reactive player that "goes after threats" will never take a map from someone who has been focusing on grind one map. the best way to play this is to have the best players on the team focus on a diagonal. like each get a map and just never stop grinding it. that way, defense is covered and the rest of the team can focus on attacking rather than reacting. get the ball on your field. yellow completely died after it got denied once
on mobile website it pnly previews the top comment and doesn't reapect the lines so your whole comment is displayed xd i don't care i already knew wirt lost but if you care you should add some filler to the top
I think your team's strategy was fundamentally flawed. The other teams that have a lot of maps have more to lose if they ignore someone that's about to win. In other words, you can't be the one to defend the leader if you're the furthest behind. You have to devote everything to hunting a line just to pressure the other teams into having to defend against you. Keep the winner's mentality, force the others to fight on your ground.

Imagine just being some rando mapper tuning into Wirt's stream and seeing him and 499 other players desperately hunting your map
I would be so happy I’d have a heart attack
498 because i did not desperately hunt i cried and hunted
0% chance others are not watching the world records. Some of those strategies are not gonna be found organically in a bingo game.
Well he said it was "frowned upon". Most people don't give a shit about that xD
He got backseated by chat who kept telling WR strat, so he would not be in the place to talk anyways.
Ngl I'm just very confused why someone would choose to have blue and cyan as two different team colors. Why not green? Why pick two different blues?
Probably to accomodate colorblind people who‘d prefer no red/green?
There are 6 team colours: RGB and CMY, take away red and green cause it’s the most common colour blindness and you’re left with BCMY
We love confusion.
@@MaximBod123But you could have either red or green, and still not run into problems, and it would allow you to avoid cyan/blue confusion
