    Best video I seen yet. . None of the others push putty in with butt of hand which I saw painter do many years ago and that's what I've tried to do. I guess I'm just not experienced or talented enough. You sir are the king of window glazing. I'm getting ready to try it again after many years of trying it on my old windows

    True story: I'm currently glazing windows in a friend's house. Beating my head off the wall, trying to figure out how to do this, frustrated as hell. Long story short, Here I am, and this guy makes it look super easy.. You Sir, are a consummate professional. And I, apparently, suck...lol.. Thanks for the vid, Excellent Job..🍻🍻

    • @shirleysomeone5775
      @shirleysomeone5775 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Powder is some form of whiting. I purchased it on Amazon. It absorbs all the oil. Other options are to cover all the glass in tape and cling wrap. I’ve used it on windows I cannot remove and does make a bit of a mess but super works.

    • @EyeToob

      It's chalk dust. The same chalk used on blackboards in schools.
      It for getting the linseed oil off the glass. The glazing compound has linseed oil in it and you don't want the oil to sit overnight and dry on the glass when you can take it off easily with chalk dust in less than a minute.
