I love how the Spinosaurus looks more like an 80's or older reconstruction as opposed to looking more like the Suchomimus.
The character models are pretty spectacular by the standards of the PSOne. There's no mistaking these creatures for anything other than dinosaurs.
Me and my mates used to jam this all the time back in primary school. Such nostalgia!
My mom got rid of this game when I was 3 or 4 because it was violent and I could never remember the name of this game. I was honestly scared to play this game without my brother 😅 idk why lmao

Suchomimus here looks more like the Spinosaurus from the 3rd JP movie than the Spino featured in this game.
Suchomimus was also Billy's 1st guess when Grant quizzed him on what type of superpredator was chasing them early on in the movie
And Spino sounds like an alien

When this game was made Suchomimus had a more complete skeletal reference than Spinosaurus back then before Spino fossil’s rediscovery in 2014

I got this when it first came out, and it has stuck with me ever since. Jurassic park meets Tekken 😁.
My fav Carnivore on here is The Spino and my Fave Herbivore on here is The Trike.

I remember playing this game at elementary school, and one of my classmates got so scared by the Suchomimus’s roar, that one of our teachers confiscated the game for the rest of the day! I never forget that memory 😅

When I was little I loved Jurassic Park and fighting games so my parents got me Jurassic Park Dinosaur Battles for the PC. I had fun but the gameplay was so complicated and weird and not what I expected. I wanted a traditional one-on-one fighting game with dinosaurs from the movie. Years later I found this game! My inner childhood self is so pissed about it lol

Man I haven't played this game since I was 6. Used to love playing it. I remember having such a hard time fighting dinos like the Stygi. Idk why but that dino was nearly impossible for me to fight. Way too spazzstic for my liking. Then again I wasn't any good at most games when I was a little kid so that's probably just a skill issue on my part. I also remember that every time I played this game, I would have awful nightmares afterwards. Never stopped me from playing it though 😂
