Because if i remember correctly this required two controllers. One that shoots and the other to walk around. Imagine holding one controller in one hand and using the pistol or another controller to shoot. It sucked because you had to move and shoot at the same time. Also if you had a friend steering or shooting, it would be difficult to communicate what ur both looking at. One would stray away from where you needed to go or if you werent paying attention you would miss shots.

I remember being absolutely TERRIFIED by this game as a kid. Specially the third boss fight with the two "T-rexes", I never finished it. I didn't had balls that age, even God of War was pure nightmare fuel for me.
The dino crisis has only two (good) games the first and second one. We can even hear the soundtrack of the second game in this one. I don't know who made the soundtrack of this game but he didn't know how to mix the sound.
I like Carnotaurus boss music though. But I do have to say the sounds are too loud it's hard to hear the most of the music. It's even difficult to hear the dinos' sounds
