PS1 dinosaurs is my favorite artistic aesthetic. PS1 graphics always felt like a painting brought into 3D. The Grain of the low res textures almost looks like the texture of brush strokes from a distance.
This is pure gold; is dinosaurs cultural heritage, showing the last real update of the dinosaurs at the moment. Who would say the Spinosaurs would change so much!! they didnt have too much info of him at that moment, but its almost a COPY of Suchomimus Terrenensis right now. By the way I came here because on DiscoveryChnl its a new series "Dinosaur Planet" and there are UP to date!! recommend 100%!!!
It’s honestly super mind blowing how much spino has changed YEARS after this comment, and will probably change even more after I post this. God speed you jigsaw puzzle of a spinosaurid
I always used to think the Stegosaurus from the options menu would’ve been the last unlockable secret dinosaur, counterpart to the ankylosaurus. Sad to know it wasn’t, it looked really cool and intimidating.
Mitchell Stucky this game has outdated dinosaur informatuon, nearly all of the sizes and weights are wrong and so are the classifications, the dinosaurs have outdated looks since nowadays a Spinosaurus would be walking on all 4s, have a crocodile like snout, live in the water and be 17m long and MegaRaptor would look nothing like a Jurrasic Park Style Velociraptor plus Trex, MegaRaptor and all of the therapods lack feathers whick we now know they had so don't trust this game
impossible for a theropod to walk on all 4s, the wishbone and the way their sholders were set up would not allow for it, not to mention their wrists could not bend in the way needed for four legged movement.
Oh man, I often forget how much things have changed since the 90's. Tyrannosaurs are classified as Carnosaurs rather than Coelurosaurs, which is an OLD conception.
I'm both happy, and disappointed with the roster. Like, these are cool dinosaurs, with some them having low notoriety, and deserving a spotlight. But also, there were plenty of dinosaurs, from both the movies, and the books, that should've been included. Stegosaurus, and Carnotaurus come to mind, as such examples. Lord knows the could've diversified more. There's not even a sauropod on the roster. Brachiosaurus and Mamenchisaurus might've been a stretch, given their size, but I feel Apatosaurus, or Diplodocus could've work. I don't think the roster would suffer too much if you removed a theropod or 2.
Anybody know what the base T-Rex skin is? The only thing that comes to mind in the Doe from Lost World. But I don't know if she was that Blue, and I lowkey feel it's suppose to be Rexy from the 1st movie. I am upset with the 3rd skin. I definitely should've been a JP1 Rexy skin.
I suppose the base skin was meant to represent Rexy during the paddock breakout scene. The lighting and the color filter made her look somewhat dark blue-ish. Although I agree the skin in the game is a bit too much blue. I used to call them "night skin" and "daytime skin".
How do you unlock the third skin for each dinosaur? Whenever I saw it pop up in a fight I just assumed it was a skin that only the AI could use, since I never seemed to unlock them.
That skin indeed was from a parasaurolophus but the para got removed and the only thing that remained from him is his pattern and acro was worthy to get it
@@daichelhernandez5089 Damnit, I was afraid of that. the normal mode is hard enough, especially with some of the dinosaurs either continuously dodging every attack, or some of my attacks don't reach.
Back in the day when the game was made the Megaraptor was believed to be a giant dromeaosaurid like Utahraptor, Velociraptor, Deinonychus ect. However it was only discovered later that it was a Carcharodontosaurid.
Man, I loved this almost as much as the actual game itself.

Yeah 🙌 that sharp aesthetic quality made them look that much more aggressive. My most loved video game EVER

Which is weird since it has a model. I guess it was meant to be playable at some point
@@aryshandono3249
Yes it was supposed to be playable however they replaced it with the Ankylosaurus
The Philoso-Raptor wants to know: If most of these dinosaurs lived during the Cretaceous Period, shouldn't the park be called Cretaceous Park?
Jurassic+Cretaceous Park
jurassic park is more marketable, gotta feed the dinosaurs SOMEHOW
@@thegreatgoldfilms6311 true dat.
Camp Cretaceous.
3:16 indoraptor?
No. MEGA Raptor.
Acro's second skin is actually TLW Parasaurolophus' skin, yes?
Yes. And the Black Raptor kin looks very similar to the Indoraptor's color scheme
@@WhyTho525I personally don't feel like the creators of 'Fallen Kingdom' took any inspiration from this game.

Theropods CANNOT walk on all 4s.

I want a remake of this game so god damn bad we need another dinosaur fighting game
The was only 1 JUASSIC PERIOD DINOSAUR?wow.just wow.
And this dinosaur is the cryolophosaurus.
Fun fact: Stegosaurus was meant to be a playable dinosaur in the game however it was replaced by Ankylosaurus
Wow they actually teach you some stuff! Cool!
MLGODZILLA420
In fact, nowadays, some of this info is wrong
Super Mario Logan Fan back then it was correct so to say it’s wrong it quite useless. It was a product of its time
This was the best part of the already awesome game
I love this game but the sizes are way off lol why is stiggy so tall and t rex so small?
Awwww man no Carnotaurus.

seeing this made me want to play that game again....though the color schemes were even more stupid than I remember XD
Did you know?: I already knew the names of all of the dinosaurs before I discovered Jurassic Park Warpath!
so expensive nowadays. Got a good deal for this game complete on amazon for 20 bucks. Only one that wasn't 50 or more.
they spelled and pronounced Giganotosaurus wrong...
To be fair, the first movie spells Stegosaurus wrong when Nedry is stealing the embryos. (Stegasaurus)

To get the 3rd skins you need to complete survival mode with a dino and the dino you played as Will get the skin (Giga's third skin is my fav)

Why calling a movie Jurassic if none of the dinosaurs were from that era? xD
William Farah Sanches for grabbing attention and obviously it’s better name for the franchise.
William Farah Sanches
Cryolophosaurus is a Jurassic dinosaur
Actualy william in 1 2 and 3 there were dinos from the jurassic like brachiosaurus in all movies and ceratosaurus in 3 and steg in 2 and dilo in 1
Dino for a minute there I thought you were talking to me
Will McCaughan your fav dino is in transformers 4 the spino is in the movie his name is scor I believe and he looks frigin awsome

nvm but guess what two of our favorite dinosaurs are dinobots and they are in the same team!!!!

i like the spino on here better than in jp3
Too bad they don’t have brown T. rex
Should've put stegosaurus allosaurus and carnotaurus
Henry Medina Stegosaurus used to be in the game. But got removed
What?! Why?
Henry Medina It got removed. But you can see the Stegosaurus is in the audio menu
They should've put stegosaurus stead of stygimoloch its too small to fight
