The actual language that truly IS the most difficult to learn is Mandarin/Chinese.
Apparently, Afrikaans, Dutch, and Norwegian are the easiest languages for English speakers to learn.😊

I have been learning French for about 5 months, but progress is very slow. By the way, there is much French vocabulary embedded in Armenian and Farsi, and that has been a big help.
