As an INFJ, I can totally relate to this video. Daily alone time is necessary for me to clear my mind and recharge, and I can become weary very quickly when over-stimulated. There's usually little warning when it happens. I feel it coming and just know instantly that I'm done being around others, and need to retreat for a while. If I don't get the daily recharge, I can hold out for maybe a few days at most, and then I crash and need several days to fully recover. My quiet space is my workshop, which also serves as a home office, and craft area where I can focus on art and other creative interests. Here I escape into my own peaceful space where the stress and concerns of the rest of the world aren't welcome.
I also relate strongly with number 3 - isolation to keep from burdening others. Adding more injury to this, I also struggle with being too considerate of other's, which means that not only do I not want to burden others with things I'm dealing with, but I also give too much consideration to things affecting other people - even tiny things that probably have little meaning to others. For example, I will go out of my way to make sure total strangers aren't inconvenienced by me in line at a fast food restaurant, or grocery store by having my items/order and money ready ahead of time so as to not hold up the line, despite the fact that I don't know the people behind me and likely never will, and they probably wouldn't even notice or care anyway if it took me a few more moments before they get their turn. Still, my focus is on not offending others (and maintaining harmony) to my own detriment. I've also struggled most of my life by being overly apologetic, saying "I'm sorry" constantly - accepting fault for things I shouldn't have, or that meant very little, and didn't deserve an apology in the first place. As I've matured as an adult, and discovered my MBTI type, this is an area that I've focused on, and I must say it has improved dramatically.
I appreciate your videos. Like EbieApple said, this channel gives me comfort that I'm not alone and others know how I feel.

Thank you so much for sharing your experience around this subject. That workshop/home office you have sounds like heaven to me. Very good to hear it nurtures you a lot. Also, what you said about that moment when you know you're done being around others is also very familiar. It's not a personal thing right? It's just like a switch is being flipped and it's time to go on hermit mode.
Good addition on point 3 about not burdening others in every way. The scenarios you described of being in line at a cash register to pay for groceries and wanting your transaction to flow as efficient as possible to not upset total strangers is all too familiar. It's comforting to hear you have been growing yourself out of being overly apologetic and are seeing some dramtaic improvements! Thanks for sharing.
And thanks for the appreciation, it's also nice to know we're not alone. Stay tuned.
