Sean Ryan and his guest were reporting on the email they received, and they clearly were like “I don’t know bro” about the drone stuff. However, they pulled receipts concerning the UN investigation into the Afghanistan events mentioned in the email. Other than that, it was two dudes having a conversation and trying to make sense of it all like the rest of us.
22 years in the Military and 17 in the United States Army as a Blackhawk pilot. I cannot in good standing take anyone seriously who refers to the United States Army as "my beloved Army". Based off the last 24 years of the Department of Defense hoorible track record of getting it wrong, how could anyone who questions the narrative be labled as a "liar". This Ryan Mcbeth guy looks alot like an attention grab. Military Intelligence Subject Matter Expert huh? More like retire MI guy who is clinging to revelancy and looking for views.
That’s exactly what he is. I’ve watched a lot of his content. Comes off as an attention seeker. Even the way he dresses, half the time he’s in a pajama robe smoking a cigar, or wearing a fedora. I’m not joking. Total Reddit mod “pick me” energy lmao.
As valid as your opinion of his might be, the problem is he gets it right... a lot. Moreover his claims almost always come with evidence if not actual proof of their validity and enough show-and-tell of his research process that anyone with any degree of doubt could, if they wanted, follow his process and find themselves arriving at the same conclusion. I'm not a fan of Ryan's style, similar to you I also served and I also find him obnoxious and a bit of a kool-aid drinker... but... he is very rarely wrong. I'm not willing to discount the fact that he cares about the subject matter enough to treat it with the respect it deserves and he cares about the truth. He also quickly and humbly admits when he is wrong. I have a lot of respect for that.
Same dude. I was in the army and nobody that I know in the army or after the army talks or behaves like that dude. Stolen valor people behave like that dude. Peter Griffin is not legitimate.
The manifesto on Shawn’s show was up in editor mode…and they told you so…because they redacted 2 names in the emailed manifesto because those people are still on mission. So yes it had “the squiggly lines” as idiot-boy calls it because for the screen share of the manifesto that Shawn’s producer put on screen they had to redact those two names. If this guy is so intelligent, how did he miss that?
@herpiegerbstick6808 when I type in gmail (on chrome) it has these spellcheck lines by default, but more basic email services may not have it. You might be able to find it in the settings. Drafting emails in a different word processor is also an option.
Those squiggly lines just appear on my words sometimes and I'm like I didn't even format anything. So seeing them to me means hes accidentally input while writing comment. Or it just stuffed up like computers do sometimes. Oh and yes, some hacker or the like can make anything happen with a computer and a keyboard.
He heard what he wanted... According to him you can't be trusted again if you ever made a mistake, Considering how much weight he puts on that shit... I assume you could find more than an article and forum post he probably wrote himself if the dude had a habbit of lying.
29:30 he literally says there’s strong evidence to suggest the tip e-mail was written by the deceased. The very same thing he said about the manifesto. Not verified but strong evidence
He said they were _confident,_ but it was _inconclusive._ Not doublespeak, per se, but just covering their asses. It's one of those "I can't prove it, but it's pretty clear he wrote it."
In my experience anything that has to be qualified with uncertainty is nothing more than someone sharing a personal opinion based on their personal evaluation of untested assumptions. Doubly-so when you're talking about statements made by law enforcement. I've seen the word "Inconclusive" used to describe both hilariously wild presumption and objective fact that has been verified to the most rigorous degree it can be. In reality whether it's law enforcement, quantum physicists, or medical professionals the word "inconclusive" being used by someone else presenting you with information that has any degree of substantive impact on your interpretation of the facts means one thing and one thing only: "We want to be able to use this in the future if it proves to be useful but we also want to be able to dismiss it in the future if it proves to be detrimental to our case"
no, the first guy refers to the "manifesto shown in the podcast" and the second guy refers to the "manifesto circulating online", so the other manifesto. he never said e-mail.
@@jessiejb4684 The problem is the phrase "not verified but strong" has no meaning. Literally. It's only value is the value you assign to it. To them "strong evidence" might be that he wrote a few emails that have similar grammar or maybe they were sent from the same cell phone provider in the same zip code, or they found a different email account this guy used that sounds similar to the one used in this email. It could also mean they literally found a draft copy of it in his outbox. That's the purpose of non-conclusive non-committal statements. They have whatever degree of significance you need them to have at any given point.
Dude starts off with lines like "My beloved army" and "I'm gonna get involved, and you don't want me involved". He made it personal immediately, he's then unable to view objective reality around this case. So this "trust me, not them" case immediately backfired, in my view.
Being in the military for almost 10 years, i can definitely tell you McBeth is your cookie cutter "military can do no wrong, and i wear my rank on my sleeve." Dudes. He comes off as one of those "do you know what i was in the military?!" Basically a douche personality for military folk.
This guy has been shilling an unpopular foreign war every day for at least the last year. Everyone he disagrees with is a "Russian asset." I dismiss him just as easily.
So, tip email was unverified but they are "confident based on evidence" that it was written by him and manifesto is unverified but they have "strong evidence" that it was written by him. These sound about the same level of confidence to me.
We know that the gentleman copied and pasted the Email into an editor. They told us multiple times in the interview that there was a DEA agent named in the email that was still operational and they had to redact his name for the podcast. It seems probable they copied the email into a word document to remove that name.
Yeah, kinda understandable, would've propably done that myself too, and not print it straight from e-mail. It might be just be a habit also, to make it more easily readable or something, and I think that was one of the weakest "proofs" by this guy i've seen made by anyone in a long while, as it was only that.
There are ways to screenshot/print that wouldn’t bring its credibility into question. If this dude is going to make huge claims, then you have to make your evidence as bulletproof as possible. It’s sloppy.
Macbeth is a fed, he's on the payroll. That's why he speaks the way he does and makes those logical leaps. He's trying to push a narrative, a specific, government approved and paid one
Yeahhh I like Ryan but this was a little emotional in this. Especially 'My Beloved Army'. "I told him not to... Or else I would release this info on him." Sorry Ryan but blackmail?
Sources? none. he speaks that way as most ex military do because linguistics shift to your environment and he still works with former military in every aspect of what he does. dont write off what hes saying baselessly lol. you are a tin foil tumor of this community.
Holy hell, Asmon listened to the guy like 5 times and STILL didn’t hear the plain words that the tip is not “conclusively” verified BUT they DO BELIEVE IT IS FROM HIM! Banned poor guy trying to get the truth out there. RIP
Yep. He started the entire thing with a character assassination attempt and didn't present any evidence. He's also presenting a lot of hearsay as fact. He clearly didn't bother actually listening to the video, because a lot of the "lies" are simply they two having a conversation saying "this is odd" and "I don't know". This guy's a clown. At minimum, he's grifting off of the viralness of the conversation.
The FBI press conference confirmed Shoemate had sent them what he had. I really have a hard time believing he would fake an email then send it to them to be scrutinized. They can pull any data they want and would expose it as a hoax right away.
McBeth’s entire argument is one of the most ridiculous and poorly put-together hit pieces I’ve ever seen. The guy made a lot of accusations about Shawn Ryan and Sam Shoemate without providing any real evidence, and it’s honestly laughable. Let’s break it down: The "Squiggly Lines" Argument: McBeth’s big smoking gun was the “squiggly lines” in the email, claiming it was in edit mode. But if he’d done even a tiny bit of research (or just listened to the podcast), he’d know the email was edited to redact certain names for privacy reasons. That’s not proof of fabrication-that’s responsible handling of sensitive information. He either didn’t understand this or ignored it to push his narrative. The FBI Confirmation: McBeth also conveniently left out the fact that the FBI has said they feel confident the email is legitimate based on evidence found on Livelsberger’s devices. Sure, it’s not 100% confirmed yet, but the FBI’s stance heavily leans toward authenticity. Ignoring this fact completely undermines McBeth’s credibility. Misrepresenting the Podcast: Shawn Ryan and Sam Shoemate didn’t claim the email was definitive proof of anything-they were openly skeptical and tried to make sense of it like anyone else would. They even expressed doubts about certain parts, like the drone claims. McBeth twisting this into a “they’re lying” narrative is not only dishonest but also just bad journalism. No Evidence, Just Hot Air: McBeth accuses Shoemate of making up emails without showing a single piece of proof. It’s all conjecture and wild assumptions. If you’re going to accuse someone of lying, you’d better have receipts, but McBeth brought nothing to the table. Writing Style Nonsense: His claim that the email doesn’t match the “manifesto” in writing style is laughable. Writing styles change depending on the context. An email to someone you know looks different from a public manifesto. This is basic logic, and his inability to grasp that is embarrassing. Self-Promotion Over Substance: The cherry on top? After all his baseless accusations, McBeth promotes his merch at the end of the video. If this was supposed to be a serious takedown of Shawn and Sam, it just comes off as an opportunistic cash grab instead. Bias and Grudges: McBeth clearly has a personal grudge against Shoemate, and it shows. His video isn’t about uncovering the truth; it’s about discrediting Shoemate and, by extension, Shawn Ryan. His bias is so obvious it’s painful. Honestly, McBeth’s whole video feels like a desperate attempt to stir up drama and make himself look relevant. Shawn Ryan and Sam Shoemate handled the email responsibly, sent it to the FBI before the podcast aired, and approached it with a healthy dose of skepticism. McBeth, on the other hand, did no research, ignored critical facts, and threw out baseless accusations. You were spot on with your take-McBeth brought nothing to the table, and his arguments fall apart under even the slightest scrutiny. Keep calling out nonsense like this, man-it’s always refreshing to hear someone cutting through the BS. Cheers.
Sam has a history of lying and faking emails, and then he posts of screenshots from the email he received and its in draft mode and you don't do a double take.
@@Dovaclin Sam posted more screenshots of the email from his inbox on his phone. He even posted some metadata of the email. Sam addressed the "fake" emails again on X today too.
@@Dovaclin is it McBeth’s alt? What is this history of faking emails and is there any credible investigation of these occurrences? Read the massage, before answering - the mail they were showing was tempered with to hide names and personal information. It is not a proof of anything
All he proved is what Sean said in the video we saw yesterday. He said straight up the email has been edited to redact names. I saw the redactions in it, where fore and background was set to black. set in the editor they told us this email has been pasted in. Macbeth is trying hard to say they never redacted it or said it was redacted (a lie) and then trying to argue against his own lie to appear correct.
Any time I hear the buzzwords "russian propaganda", or "far right", or this condesending tone, it's an instant red flag for me. Everything said afterwards should be ignored entirely
but in Ryan McBeth's case, he's a disinformation expert. he consults about it in the national security circles. his whole reason for being is identifying disinformation campaigns.
Then you're actively choosing to be deceived because russia is putting out propaganda and actively targeting western conservatives with disinformation.
Dude takes the time to record a video, edit it & upload it, as well as create that incredibly intricate & detailed thumbnail, and that's all he has to say?? That's his whole argument? What a joke.
"my beloved Army", worded like that from anyone who's served is typically a pretty good indicator they will be thereafter FoS. No one says that. Not even the pencil counters.
It was put into an editing app so that they could REDACT some of the names from the email, specifically the DEA agent and a couple others. They covered this explicitly during the podcast on Shawn Ryan.
Also, another email was sent to Shawn Ryan before anything happened from the same address. So that means this guy is either accusing Shawn Ryan of being in on this plot or saying the other guy of somehow knowing everything in advance. It's much more likely that this Ryan guy really dislikes the other guy and let that cloud his judgement. He saw the spell check marks and didn't consider anything else before spouting off.
Everyone is forgetting that the Shawn Ryan podcast received an email as well? Not just Shoemaker Shawn got an email too. " I need to meet with you before January 1st to blow the whistle on some things that happen at a certain place"
@@finnaplow If Destiny is intelligent, I'm superman. You can't be the most easily manipulated and propagandized streamer then also be "intelligent". Dude became a copium-breathing far left extremist shill in less than a few weeks.
Just an update 1/8/2025: FBI Just unambiguously confirmed that the emails Sam Shumate read on the Shawn Ryan podcast did in fact come from Livelsberger.
He said 'far right, russian propaganda, having a go him not wanting a covid vaccine and saying words like conspiracy theorist'. Using those condescending and dismissive phrases and words made me instinctively stop listening to him. He also introduced himself blowing his own trumpet which was a turn off

McBeth is a fed and paid to spread propaganda. He literally works for government intel in DC.
The whole video was just a self-defeating shilling with no reverent material. He didn't even care to elaborate on any condescending point. I literally learned nothing useful.
Well Ryan showed the russian propaganda that he was propagating and he clearly has a history of using conspiracy theories to get engagement. Ryan mentioned the Covid stuff but he has no qualms with it but generally shows a bias for Sam in that general direction. Pretty much a grifter to me.
his "propaganda" was someone attempting to use Sam to whistle blow a funding issue, that was disseminated in an official email. then the decision on the funding was reversed after Sam reported on it. and also, Sam retired after 20 years and did get the shot in order to stay in the military. his retirement is a matter of public record. so this guy is just full of it.
i dunno if he gets in to this later but im at 25 minutes and asmon says that there was no strong evidence for the email but Spencer The FBI Guy said they were confident it was also real in the first video he watched, somewhere around 17 minutes in
ok he got back to it, but i think he was too tilted to properly think about it. i would say that the statement "we still have not conclusively determined that thats from the subject but we feel confident based on evidence that we are uncovering on his devices that that was in fact from lippelsburger" (or however his name is spelled) constitutes strong evidence
This dude feels like he makes a point then instantly shoots himself in the foot with his own statements and then his evidence is as most have said shaky at best
Ryan McBeth is desperately trying to raise his own internet profile and channel reach by attacking much bigger names in the Military-Industrial Complex discussion space. But his own content is blatant pro-MIC propaganda (and kinda lame).
So the email was all stuff that can't be verified and stuff that was already known for 5 years from the U.N. reports. A complete nothing burger. Am I missing something?
A few points. •The FBI manifesto was never discussed on the podcast. Only the email which Sam Shoemate referred to as a “manifesto”. •When the FBI refers to the podcast “manifesto” he’s talking about the email. •This guy proved nothing.
Exactly this. as time goes on it get's harder to keep the time line straight, but yeah, the FBI guy and the podcast happened before we had the "manifesto".
also -- the notes app manifesto was retrieved afterward, and there is currently no evidence it was ever distributed before the crash, and therefore there is no need to address it, because it was JUST released before the shiny took the lectern from the deputy. Hope that makes sense.
Yea it's confusing because people have been referring to 2 different pieces of evidence as the "manifesto". But I agree that the FBI guy was referring to the email as well. I don't know if they're purposefully trying to muddy the waters but that's exactly what's happening.
“We can not conclusively determine that was from the subject (Asmon pauses) but feel confident based on evidence we are uncovering on his devices that it was in fact from Livelsberger (Asmon pauses again, not realizing Livelsberger is the guys name)
Yeah I'm not really understanding why Asmongold changed his stance so hard on them saying they said it's not real, when they basically said what you said. That they are confident but can't conclusively determine it.
Yeah, I mean Shawn Ryan had an email from the same email address and name from before the event. So if this guy faked his email, he would have to had to have sent that email to Shawn Ryan too, or Shawn is in on it, which I very highly doubt.
If you copied the email to redact names, there'd be edit lines. Ryan ALWAYS sides with the official story and claims that the military industrial complex doesn't exist. I used to watch him all the time but my trust in him has COMPLETELY vanished over time.
@@aranack6791 this isn't government redaction, he (shoemate or ryan) probably copied the text into word to remove the names. I understand redaction and how it is officially done, but the source on this isn't official, so it likely wouldn't be done in the same manner.
How can Asmongold listen to the same thing like 10 times and still not comprehend what they are saying? "We still have not conclusively determined that that's from the subject, but feel confident based on evidence that we're uncovering on his devices that it was from Livisberger." That couldn't be more clear. They aren't stating it as a 100% fact that it came from him, yet, but based on the evidence they have they think he sent the email. Wtf is so hard to understand about that? They think it's real, but until they know 100% they aren't going to say it is. So for now if you believe the FBI you should assume, until proven otherwise, the email is legit. As for this MacBeth guy. He is debunking people saying "we don't know of this is real or not". That should tell you all you need to know.
To be clear, they said they believed it was from Matt Berg, but they didn't say anything in the email was true or correct. Not that I would trust them one way or the other.
@@cecilofs If anything regarding "drones" in that email was actually real, then I don't even see the FBI really addressing it. They'd just say it's a fake conspiracy theory and move on. The fact they said they believed the email to be actually sent from this guy, probably just means he was actually just mentally ill.
18:37 "We still have not conclusively determined that that's from the subject, *but feel confident, based on evidence that we're uncovering on his devices, that that was in fact, um, from Livelsberger.* " How is Asmon failing this hard at listening comprehension? They said the exact same thing about both documents, just in reversed order.
I had to stop the video after he tarded over it repeatedly, I thought it was so obvious that I had to go and listen to the brief myself to make sure it wasn't me being an idiot/him leaving part of it out, big cringe.
Yeah that was really dumb, even after listening to it that last time he still didn't get it and banned a dude for telling him to listen to what's being said!
@@SkyForgeVideos Oh, you mean the military strikes that were war crimes corroborated by UN post-action investigation teams? That must be what you mean, gotcha.
Asmon said "I've watched it 3 times" but somehow didn't listen any of them when the agent said the TIP is not conclusive but they have strong evidence to suggest its from the dead soldier.
Wow, that whole second half was brutal to watch.... the FBI guy simply said that the email presented on podcasts isn't 100% confirmed yet, but they ARE CONFIDENT THAT THEY WERE INDEED FROM LIVELSBERGER!!! In other words, yes, it is basically confirmed, but it is still early. You overcomplicated this way too much.
No, "we are confident" means it is possible, but "it's unverified" means they haven't confirmed it yet. They are basically saying "we haven't verified this yet, but it is possible that the email came from him". That's all they said.
How did you jump from "we simply believe it's true but not verified" to "it's basically true bro!"? The internet really has a huge problem with selective hearing.

@@AfricanLionBat It’s so obvious that this guy is a fed, or at least on the payroll. To do “good work,” you need to investigate both sides of the issues, all I’ve ever seen Mcbeth do is seize on small, usually insignificant points to try to make claims of authority over other people.
Unc needs a hearing aid On the manifesto: “We have strong evidence that it was written by the subject, but is not conclusively confirmed yet” On the top: “We have not conclusively confirmed it yet, but it is very probable that it was written by the subject based on evidence we are gathering”
😂 I was in physical PAIN listening to the second half of this video. Asmon kept pausing in the middle of the sentence not letting the FBI finish what they were saying, which was that they had not confirmed but FELT CONFIDENT THAT (the “tip” covered in the podcast) was from Livelsberger”
Making a fake email then sending it to the FBI as a tip would be the self-own of the century. They can pull any data they want including where an email came from.
agreed. I even went into it with the mindset that asmons point was right and all the chatters were wrong as i understood asmon's distinction between tip and manifesto. HOWEVER, the clip from the FBI agent said the opposite of what asmon was saying lol
Asmongold needs to correct himself: FBI did say they were "confident" and had "strong evidence" that the Livelsberger email was legitimate At 15:00 of the video, Asmongold said FBI claimed the Livelsberger email "probably came from the guy". Later in the video, Asmongold backtracked the claim, even banning a guy at 25:48 who said that Asmongold was wrong about backtracking the claim. However, the FBI did say they were confident the email was from Livelsberger (20:22). In the video, The FBI also said they had "strong evidence" the "so-called manifesto circulating online" was from Livelsberger (23:48-23:58). Asmongold argued that it did not refer to the email, but rather the letters on his phone. However, the podcast came out before any content from the letters came out to the public. Shawn Ryan podcast upload date and time: 01/03/2025 03:00 PM Earliest report on the letters from his phone I can find (ABC's report on his letters): 01/03/2025 09:28 AM Therefore, the podcast could not have possibly mentioned the two letters found on Livelsberger's phone. The FBI agent was thus referring to the email when he said the "so-called manifesto", answering to the journalist's question about a manifesto circulating online on a podcast. Someone please tell Asmongold about this.
Exactly. And the reporter wouldn't need to ask if the LVPD release was legit, nor would the reporter describe it that way even if they HAD discussed it on the podcast. Fartdogman should be unbanned! Free fartdogman!
I agree with you about the podcast not mentioning the manifesto, and only talking about the email, and think Asmon is confused as well. However please check the date and time stamps you have left in your comment as what is written suggests the manifesto WAS public before the podcast was released. I understand there will be production, editing, and uploading times before release on TH-cam, meaning it is unlikely that they would have known about it anyway due to actual recording time of the podcast, but others may not understand that and just see that the podcast was released after the manifesto was published.
@@DrHuxley- He completely confused himself because he was wrong about his statement on what he thought he heard before, he was correct in stating that he was wrong, the twitter video he was wrong about was the statement about the manifesto discussed on the podcast not the email, which he thought was the email in yesterdays video. He then went and broke his brain by stopping the FBI agent making the statement about the likely validity of the email by breaking it into pieces as he paused consistently, he also just waved away any meaningful words by only listening to the words "Not conclusive" and considering that to mean "there is no evidence", he literally turned his brain off because he thought he was right because he was wrong before.

McBeth is shakey at best for accuracy. I'd say 50/50 right of the time. Govt workers will always come off as competent, but you find out quick once you start doing due diligence.
The spell check thing is NOT weird. If he was sent an email and then forwarded it to Shawn Ryan, Shawn was told to redact the names. He may have tried to do that in the email editor and decided to take a screenshot of the email when he did it or he may even have removed sensitive information. The squiggly lines would show up because he's in composing mode or another editing program as Asmon says. There's a reason why McBeth advertises his merch in the same video. Talk about sensational situation > claim people are lying > provide very little fact or evidence to support the claim > mention your merch at the end of the video. Ahuh. it's also not weird that the FBI was quick to respond to the email situation because BOTH Shawn and Sam sent the evidence to the FBI BEFORE the podcast was released. They already had that information for a while.
Agreed, the guy probably copied the email and pasted it into a word document which then would kick in the spell check, and why would he then go correct the errors.
Yes, the squiggly lines can appear when replying or forwarding the e-mail. But more importantly, what's there to gain for that guy to lie to the FBI? Especially, considering that fabricating an e-mail and presenting it to them in connection to the case is literally a crime.
24:49 you weren't initially wrong. Yeah that was hard to watch, like he pauses with that smug "see I was right" look, without listening to the whole quote, then unpause and pretend the second part wasn't said. I was so sure he'd get it on that final watch too lmao.
Yes, i don't understand why he doesn't understand it, he went on the label it as weak evidence, meanwhile it's 70% evidence until the FBI comes out saying it definitively isn't one of his emails (i assume they found his proton and looked at the address and found the same/similarities, but just haven't found the mail itself yet).

To be honest, considering the timing and his level of clearance, he could have faked it and went awol thinking they won't look for him. And what a better place than where he did it.
You're talking about Sean Ryan now surely. The guy that was lying. Surely you're not calling the guy that correctly called him out a "propagandist" now, right?
@@tiffanylaserna1288I’m not sure what the truth this about this specific issue; the topic of the video… but this guy is absolutely a propagandist at times. We should be very skeptical of anyone who frequently uses the term “Russian propaganda”.
Writing an email to get out a load of info to get someone to respond to you (which the email was aimed at doing) versus a manifesto (which he likely took time to specifically clarify a small number of points) would easily lead to different writing styles. Checking writing clues comes down to sentence structure, grammar use, idiomatic style, and other metrics.
Ryan Macbeth is completely on the other side of Shawn Ryan. He voted for Hillary and Biden, and he work for big defense. Not an indictment, but he’s literally the polar opposite of ppl like Shawn Ryan
Ah, the red squiggles from being in edit mode... The default mode you'd be in if you copy-pasted the text from an email into word. He should probably spend 3 seconds thinking before he starts accusing people of being liars, but I can't expect more from a dude who looks like he breaks into apiaries to eat the bees.
All of this guys' points are literally invalid because if you actually watch the podcast they say it MULTIPLE times that they cant confirm any of this and that it needs to be investigated. I wouldnt put it past this dude it have just read some headlines and made this video. I cant even take what he says seriously because he clearly didn't review the whole podcast. What he should of done is try to corroborate the "evidence" they presented to try and see if its legit.
McBeth is a turd. The writing style difference between the manifesto and the email can easily be chalked down to the audience. The manifesto was meant to address the public while the email was specifically written to a veteran who would have the connections and means to investigate and share the intel. McBeth holds a personal public grudge against Shoemate because he believes his perspective is the only one that is true and aligns with genuine patriotism. He's carved a small corner in the niche military hot takes category and is also looking to gain more traffic. His arguments on Shawn Ryan's interview with Sam Shoemate are as weak as the evidence he uses to support them. He's now brought up Shoemate's unwillingness to take the vaccine in just a couple short videos and follows it up as "understandable", the spreading Russian misinformation comments suggest he's a perfect candidate for PSYOPs and spreading IC propaganda. If anyone wanted a clear or subjective take on any issue, he's probably the worst person to give it, in my opinion. It doesn't mean he doesn't know some shit but having any news filter through him would be like tuning into MSNBC but with even more confidence and bravado and less facts. He's like the inverse of Scott Ritter. My take on him is similar to his take on Shoemate except I don't really care to examine his body of work to convince people how horrible he is, he's probably a decent guy.

McBeth has been lying about Ukraine since the war started. From what I've seen he's either brain-dead CNN info vomit or he's actually connected with intelligence and produces propaganda for the US government.
Never seen this Ryan dude before but his videos sound more like a hit piece from some leftist trying to tone down the rhetoric so he doesn't piss off his more middle/conservative viewers.
That fbi agent said was in verified but there was strong evidence suggesting that it was in fact written by the same person also every single factor in this case seems too neat for an
he mainly debunks viral misinformation. Thats the nature of debunking viral sensationalist misinformation. his videos include "not enough information to draw conclusions" as well. EDIT: he does include videos where he provides evidence as to why he believes a viral story to be likely as well.
"The writing style isn't the same" Duh. One is an email where he's telling someone information, the other is a "note" that was magically "found" on a phone that was burnt to a crisp. It is far more likely the email is real than the manifesto
The e-mail IS the manifesto. What was found on the phone was not an "e-mail", it was just notes. This is what's causing confusion! The e-mail was referred to as the manifesto in both podcasts and if you google it it's what's on every headline. They have no reason to believe it wasn't him but haven't verified it means that the FBI have given it some credence. Verifying it can mean many things, but if they said they think it's real why would they jump to conclusions? It would be very unprofessional. Now they're backpedalling but it sounds to me like they know something is legit about it otherwise why even say what they initially said.
This Ryan McBeth dude just seems to hate this Sam guy with a burning passion. His whole video was basically Shoemate once posted something that was wrong and now everything he says is a lie and anyone who talks to him is also a liar. That was intense.
That's what I gather. I've never heard of either of them before, but Ryan seems to hate Sam and let that cloud his judgement. He really wanted this to be fake, so he set out to find anything that supports that conclusion while ignoring anything that does the opposite. To the point that he doesn't realize that he is also essentially accusing Shawn Ryan of participating in the fraud as well, since Shawn said he found an email from the same address from before the event. So either Sam is clairvoyant and sent both knowing what was going to happen, or Shawn, for whatever reason, decided to participate in the scam. Or, you know, it could just be legit.
near the start i don't think he was saying that guy was sharing russian propaganda because he was critical of the US involvement... he was saying this because the information shared was objectively false and faked, but had also been shared on russian propaganda networks before this so that it was where the "liar" even got this false information about the piloting hour fund allocation, etc.
Ryan mcbeth is just mad he was never invited on the show. I would believe shawn as he is a very credible guy. Now Ryan mccheeseburger on the other hand i dont believe
Dude, just google the Sam Shoemate's spotty history. Either Shawn is willfully ignorant about his guests, or just threw his own integrity out of window for clicks, because he thinks his audience would eat any BS up, like JRE listeners for Rogan.
Dude I can’t believe I watched this. All Ryan Mccheeseburger did was accuse Shawn Ryan of 2 very loose and ridiculous claims within the span of 11 minutes. Only 2 claims and they don’t even make sense?! Anyone in this comment section has drafted plenty of emails to send later to make sure they are written correctly!
Dude spent 3.5 mins to say they are lying and provided the most loose and weak arguments to back his claim up and then just signs off thinking it was a win 😂
There's nothing diff with the writing styles either. The 'manifesto' the cops had was written using google notepad and they recreated and released an edited version with double spaces. The same email account also contacted Shawn Ryan before the attack.
Asmon has the uncanny ability to pause exactly at the moment he thinks proves him right, has a smug smile on his face for 10sec and when he unpauses he is deaf for the next 5 seconds 😂
yeah man like WTF he has the stupid chart up saying "no strong evidence" for the tip while the guy is literally saying "...confident based on evidence..."
Yeah, I had to pause and stare while watching this video shortly after he said "you don't want me involved" Like, who the fuck even is this guy? This guy even ex-military? He's literally talking shit about three prominent ex-military background people while saying that kinda shit.
25:28 the manifesto is the letter with the all his thoughts in mind about drones and other stuff which is written and send by email. The manifesto is not the suicide letter from the car.
I watched the whole SRS podcast. Shawn never talked about the manifesto that the FBI found. When Shawn was talking about the Email he referred to it as a manifesto. So when the FBI talk about the “manifesto shared on podcasts” the FBI is referring to the email. Had to say this because I’m having an aneurysm rn @ 26:16
@@Mulletforhire I think he either didn’t pay attention to the podcast or he is misremembering it. Also I think he loves trashing commenters that make him angry so he probably was just seeing red 😂
@Mulletforhire so many people were trying to get Asmon to look at the timeline of events but he wouldn't and couldn't grasp the concept that the email and phone documents were both referred to as the manifesto by the FBI spokesman at different times.
Ryan Macbeth is a top notch propagandist and system tool. I remember his reply to history legends about meat wave attacks. Dude legit was embarrassed and tried to invent a new meaning for the term to justify his claim despite the fact this term was established decades ago...
How is he a propogandist? Its obvious that Ryan has a clear bias, but he provides good arguments that are backed by multiple sources which he fact checks. Take a look at his other videoes. He mostly knows what he's talking about.
@@Gunnarthe backs himself with sources which say the same and ignore sources which do not And whenever he shits himself - he calls everyone who point it out a bot, lmao
He has JSON data. JSON is just a data format. JavaScript Object Notation. It's not Joint Special Operations Ninja. It's the same as XML or CSV. His screenshot shows a very small JSON payload which looks like it might be a dump of user info from a social media API response. This is the type of data payload that a browser might fetch from a server, in order to populate a UI screen. For example "friend count 0" would be pulled out of the JSON payload, and displayed on the browser page. TLDR: Invoking the term "a bunch of of JSON data on the guy" sounds like somebody describing something they don't fully understand, but which they think makes them sound technical.
Nothing this guy is saying in that short video has any weight, he is playing up drama and stirring up emotions out of very questionable motives. He is an active military contractor and it is in his direct interest to say exactly what he's saying by protecting the hand that feeds him. He disproves nothing of what was said in the Ryan podcast yet feels very strongly and provocative about it, raising multiple red flags. In particular making the statement that Shawn Ryan was siding with the enemy by criticizing the war in Ukraine, which is plainly false and clearly shows this guys bias and pledged agency. Basically he is showing himself as being an agent of the military, which he openly admits he is by revealing his contractor role, by casting doubt on potential claims in the email revealed on Shawn Ryan podcast. The "dotted lines in the email" argument is completely invalid.. They tell us they did this to redact 2 names.. Intelligence expert my ass. There is nothing remotely independent about his motives and nothing trustworthy in his account. And by casting doubt so aggressively on something which made no statements of certainty he is only landing the claims credibility, otherwise why all this posturing?
they were referring to the email as a manifesto in the press conference. they didn't talk about the FBI manifesto on the podcast. you were right originally. you're wrong in this video.
Yeah, the reporter specifically asked about the manifesto circulated on the podcast. They wouldn't be referring to the LVPD release as something circulated by a podcast. They wouldn't even need to ask if the LVPD stuff is confirmed, because obviously law enforcement confirms something they are releasing. I can't even finish the video its so frustrating to watch him be so wrong. I stopped it at the point where he starts to make a chart. I can only hope he reverses again and realizes his error, but he seems pretty dug in at this point.

It is possible to be wrong and not lie. This is something that is possible 😂 Our internet culture today is so stupid and everyone just accuses everyone of being liars when it is entirely possible for someone to hold a position that is not true but to do so with sincerity and honesty. Life is complex… We don’t have to call into question the character of everyone we disagree with.
Rayn mcbeth does the same type of targeting and isr drone spoof shit that the bomber did. I find it incredibly interesting he's ignoring the warcrime clame discussed in the video
Shawn in the actual video states this is my email and it has been edited by my producer to redact the names. The one shown isnt sam shoemate's email, it is Shawn Ryans possibly forwarded from Sam or from the cybertruck guy himself but this clearly explains why it is displayed within an edit mode.
Which immediately makes it weaker evidence. If he said from the start that the email was edited, then what is the guarantee that it's not just all made up?
@@AnonD38 they discussed on the podcast that the guest asked Matt (Cyberbomber) for some way that they could verify the info or that he was who he said he was. OBVIOUSLY Matt declined, because then it would've made it easier for authorities to trace his recent activity and potentially prevent his car bomb from being detonated. The email was never presented on the podcast as having been verified, so idk where you're getting that idea. That said, just because it's unverifiable from his end doesn't make it unverifiable from Matt's end. The FBI may have found evidence on one of Matt's phones or computers that proves it's legit, but from an outside perspective we don't really have anything more than a high probability that Matt sent that email (not publically, anyway)
@aBadWizard Why would you think it's a high probability??? You literally just said we have no verified evidence that this email was even written by him. The only thing we have is the FBI saying they haven't verified it, but it's possible that the email is from him.
I'd just love to find this editor mode on my email that everyone that doesn't want to believe they're precious SRS lied to them seems to fallback on
@herpiegerbstick6808 when I type in gmail (on chrome) it has these spellcheck lines by default, but more basic email services may not have it. You might be able to find it in the settings. Drafting emails in a different word processor is also an option.
Those squiggly lines just appear on my words sometimes and I'm like I didn't even format anything. So seeing them to me means hes accidentally input while writing comment. 29:30 he literally says there’s strong evidence to suggest the tip e-mail was written by the deceased. The very same thing he said about the manifesto. Not verified but strong evidence
He said they were _confident,_ but it was _inconclusive._
Not doublespeak, per se, but just covering their asses.
@ ok but the answer the authorities provided in these clips regarding both texts were the same. Not verified but strong evidence.

At minimum, he's grifting off of the viralness of the conversation.
he said sam not shawn. you cant even get that right
The FBI press conference confirmed Shoemate had sent them what he had. I really have a hard time believing he would fake an email then send it to them to be scrutinized. They can pull any data they want and would expose it as a hoax right away.
I saw the video he did on it lol
McBeth’s entire argument is one of the most ridiculous and poorly put-together hit pieces I’ve ever seen. The guy made a lot of accusations about Shawn Ryan and Sam Shoemate without providing any real evidence, and it’s honestly laughable. Let’s break it down:
The "Squiggly Lines" Argument:
McBeth’s big smoking gun was the “squiggly lines” in the email, claiming it was in edit mode. But if he’d done even a tiny bit of research (or just listened to the podcast), he’d know the email was edited to redact certain names for privacy reasons. That’s not proof of fabrication-that’s responsible handling of sensitive information. He either didn’t understand this or ignored it to push his narrative.
The FBI Confirmation:
McBeth also conveniently left out the fact that the FBI has said they feel confident the email is legitimate based on evidence found on Livelsberger’s devices. Sure, it’s not 100% confirmed yet, but the FBI’s stance heavily leans toward authenticity. Ignoring this fact completely undermines McBeth’s credibility.
Misrepresenting the Podcast:
Shawn Ryan and Sam Shoemate didn’t claim the email was definitive proof of anything-they were openly skeptical and tried to make sense of it like anyone else would. They even expressed doubts about certain parts, like the drone claims. McBeth twisting this into a “they’re lying” narrative is not only dishonest but also just bad journalism.
No Evidence, Just Hot Air:
McBeth accuses Shoemate of making up emails without showing a single piece of proof. It’s all conjecture and wild assumptions. If you’re going to accuse someone of lying, you’d better have receipts, but McBeth brought nothing to the table.
Writing Style Nonsense:
His claim that the email doesn’t match the “manifesto” in writing style is laughable. Writing styles change depending on the context. An email to someone you know looks different from a public manifesto. This is basic logic, and his inability to grasp that is embarrassing.
Self-Promotion Over Substance:
The cherry on top? After all his baseless accusations, McBeth promotes his merch at the end of the video. If this was supposed to be a serious takedown of Shawn and Sam, it just comes off as an opportunistic cash grab instead.
Bias and Grudges:
McBeth clearly has a personal grudge against Shoemate, and it shows.
Cheers.

But...did you see the large arrows he drew pointing to them? It clearly said "Liars." I think that serves as pretty definitive proof

Asmongold needs to correct himself: FBI did say they were "confident" and had "strong evidence" that the Livelsberger email was legitimate
At 15:00 of the video, Asmongold said FBI claimed the Livelsberger email "probably came from the guy".
Shawn Ryan podcast upload date and time: 01/03/2025 03:00 PM
Earliest report on the letters from his phone I can find (ABC's report on his letters): 01/03/2025 09:28 AM
Therefore, the podcast could not have possibly mentioned the two letters found on Livelsberger's phone. The FBI agent was thus referring to the email when he said the "so-called manifesto", answering to the journalist's question about a manifesto circulating online on a podcast.
Someone please tell Asmongold about this.
How was he watching that and thinking something else? It's maddening

This is it
That fbi agent said was in verified but there was strong evidence suggesting that it was in fact written by the same person also every single factor in this case seems too neat for an
Ryan MacBeth couldn't be more obviously an establishment plant. Every video the man makes is a variation on "nothing to see here".
Here is a translation of what @sympathetic said "I don't like what Ryan McBeth said"
Lol... I basically made this comment on his video Asmond is watching 😆
Both can true. Stop the bs Ryan . I know its you
he mainly debunks viral misinformation. Thats the nature of debunking viral sensationalist misinformation.
his videos include "not enough information to draw conclusions" as well.
EDIT: he does include videos where he provides evidence as to why he believes a viral story to be likely as well.
He shills for Ukraine hard, and justifys all the Aid and your tax dollars going there every chance he gets aswell.
"The writing style isn't the same"
Duh.
You’re writing style doesn’t change. Your tempo and word choice matters. Spelling and grammar errors as well as spacing of words and lines
SRS podcast only discussed the email if I am not demented.
The email was transcribed before being shown on the podcast because they had to redact the names of active service members who would be implicated
@Nethingispossible145 True
ALSO SHOEMATE WASNT DISCHARGED FOR THE COVID STUFF HE WAS ALREADY PUTTING FORMS FORWARD TO LEAVE THE MILITARY SO RYAN IS AGAIN WRONNNNG LOL
near the start i don't think he was saying that guy was sharing russian propaganda because he was critical of the US involvement... he was saying this because the information shared was objectively false and faked, but had also been shared on russian propaganda networks before this so that it was where the "liar" even got this false information about the piloting hour fund allocation, etc.
Ryan mcbeth is just mad he was never invited on the show. I would believe shawn as he is a very credible guy. Now Ryan mccheeseburger on the other hand i dont believe
further more, the fbi has already collaborated the email. Its verified true. Ryan made his little video a little too soon. what a fool he is.
McCheeseburger lmfaooo
Dude thats a crazy statement but it’s true. Good views
Shawn Ryan is government lol. He pushes narratives. I trust the broke veteran more than the rich government intelligence agent lol. Fools
@@poisonova1 Right!? What a goofball. I can't believe I actually used to watch Ryan..
There's nothing diff with the writing styles either. The 'manifesto' the cops had was written using google notepad and they recreated and released an edited version with double spaces. The same email account also contacted Shawn Ryan before the attack.
@@poisonova1 perfect summary. Seems like a troll to me
If you draft an email you have zero proof it's real. You could say it was Trump emailing you to tell you that Taylor Swift controls the drones.
Clicked on this video, saw the guy’s appearance and heard him accuse him of “propaganda” and immediately stopped caring about what he was saying
the only thing he didn't do was blame Trump, otherwise he spouted off all the leftoid argumentative talking points.

Yeah, I had to pause and stare while watching this video shortly after he said "you don't want me involved" Like, who the fuck even is this guy? This guy even ex-military? He's literally talking shit about three prominent ex-military background people while saying that kinda shit.
HUGE L for mcbeth. Even on the podcast, they said they couldn't verify it.
Also the podcast came out before the FBI found the manifesto. Meaning it was recorded much earlier. It’s not a live podcast.
Asmon lost his mind at the end
Omg thank you, I could barely take watching this and I could not figure out why Asmon couldn't figure it out either.
Wasn’t it confirmed that Wagner was using meatwave tactics
How is he a propogandist? Its obvious that Ryan has a clear bias, but he provides good arguments that are backed by multiple sources which he fact checks. Take a look at his other videoes. He mostly knows what he's talking about.

He is utilizing the common man’s lack of knowledge about specific concepts against them, like a typical dishonest actor.
If you can convince them, confuse them.
imagine his surprise that it is possible to alter JSON data with very basic knowledge or understanding.
As someone in the Web Dev industry for over 15 years... I came here looking for this comment. Thank you 😅
Saying you have JSON data is like saying:
“Guys I right clicked this web page and hit ‘Inspect Element’, trust me.”
And by casting doubt so aggressively on something which made no statements of certainty he is only landing the claims credibility, otherwise why all this posturing?
they were referring to the email as a manifesto in the press conference. they didn't talk about the FBI manifesto on the podcast. you were right originally. you're wrong in this video.
this is the truth. i dont understand how he's confusing himself.
20:09
He literally says that they feel confident the drone email IS from the guy but Asmon only hears the "not conclusively determined" part
Your watching asmongold😂😂😂 go watch press conference and the news if you wanna get the exact right facts lol. This is entertainment

But yeah feel like asmon still kinda lost mistaken
Came here to say this! If he would stop pausing and breaking up the guy’s comment he would probably get it.

Either he's not smart or someone told him to walk it back idk how TF he could be this dumb
Ryan McBeth is a great source for insider military software, logistics, and information but he is 100% a loyalist to the military. Like he "disproved" there being a military industrial complex because drug companies make more than the military arms companies which is just... so dumb
" he is 100% a loyalist to the military"
The U.S military is an appendage of ZOG. He is loyal to Israel.
But I mean he's so biased and pompous, it's not even worth watching. 😂
No freaking way he said that lol, good lord
It is possible to be wrong and not lie. This is something that is possible 😂
Our internet culture today is so stupid and everyone just accuses everyone of being liars when it is entirely possible for someone to hold a position that is not true but to do so with sincerity and honesty. Life is complex… We don’t have to call into question the character of everyone we disagree with.
Rayn mcbeth does the same type of targeting and isr drone spoof shit that the bomber did. I find it incredibly interesting he's ignoring the warcrime clame discussed in the video
Ha yeah not one pip about the warcrimes...
Maybe he involved? Not sure when he got out....
Now with Ryan showing that the dude has faked emails before, we are back to square one, basically it could be real or it could be fake, nobody in the regular public knows for sure yet.
I accuse him of making everything up unless he publishes the original thing.
