She brings out the best in you guys , it appears to me....( How the hell would I know? ....)....but seriously..this was such an enjoyable podcast. I love the way you guys interrupt and talk over the guests and each other ..it's so spontaneous..and hilarious..SO much fun to be a fly on the wall. 💕 Love this.

I got Miss Bossy Pants at an Improv theater as a hand out. It was a great book, and definitely one you can read more than once and still find gems and laughs
I have a similar story to Tina and her doll house. My desk has an Evel Knievel stunt cycle because my son was not giving it the respect I thought it should have at the bottom of his closet under a bunch of other toys. Great episode.

When Dana let's her of course! The funny thing is, they know they do it, they know fans complain, but they just can't help it. I often wonder how much better this podcast would be with just David as the host.
Big Tina Fey fan - would have liked to have heard more. Every so often I go back and listen to her and Amy's Golden Globes openers because they're so solid. I grew up in Maryland, and irrelevant fact, am one day younger than her, and it's surprising how much Philly and Baltimore accents sound similar. But, like other commenters have written, please allow the guests more breathing room.

Dana I imagine is a well intentioned and seemingly vulnerable/tender person. But he needs to stop circling the conversation back to himself.
You stole their joke. In reality, it’s called relating.

The guests are meant to be prompts for David and Dana’s comedic medicine. Creativity is like a river that flows through and can’t be stopped by mere visitors😸.

Back in the day I was a hostess downtown Santa Fe and the Buzz was that Tina Fey was coming in for lunch because she was doing a movie. Now, I can talk to anyone.... but I kept hoping that I Wouldn't see her because I knew I'd loose it and I didn't want to come off like some sort of FanGurl or pee my pants. LOL

I live close to where she grew up, and near to her favorite pizza place, Pica's. Every time I go in, I say, "I have a reservation with Tina Fey." The confused look on the hostess' face is classic every time.

This is not your regular interview show. It's industry people chatting. In many cases its SNL alum talking about the old days. It's really a conversation for them and we get to listen in. If thats not your thing, then don't listen. It's probably not going to conform to your idea of what it should be. Oh well.
Seriously guys (Dana) you got to stop talking about yourselves constantly, I listen because I want to hear about the guest, not the same stories from the hosts over and over for over half the show, great comics, not great interviewers. It’s such a great premise but you guys are killing me

Fan of these shows. Watching all of them, but please guys, stop stepping on your guest's answers. Tina got cut off multiple times. I fully understand. I'm an interrupter myself in life. But I think a podcast is a bit different from riffing in casual conversation. Give your guests a bit of room.
This is almost as bad as Bill Maher's podcast, where Bill talks the whole time.
It’s so strange the amount of people commenting about these illustrious hosts not letting the guests do all the talking. There’s a reason this podcast is called ‘Fly on the Wall’. And for those who don’t know- we should be like a fly on the wall during this conversation. Let them relate and have fun talking about the awesome stuff that they have done. Flies don’t complain, btw!
That very well may be and I’m a huge fan of both these guys, but they really need to let the guests talk. Would have loved to hear more of Tina.

The want us listening and liking and sharing this podcast. If people give their time and endorsement their allowed to add constructive criticism. The guys haven’t disabled the comments for a reason. They may be skimming this for ideas to make the show a little better. They’re thick-skinned professionals who’ve dealt with hecklers. They’ll be ok.

Kind of a crappy interview.. Dana and David totally trying to grab spotlight … listen to me! Listen to me! Talking over each other and Tina… Guys…Take your Ritalin before your next interview and learn to listen to your guests answer.
I didn’t get that. Dana and David were a little hyper but they clearly love Tina and think she’s brilliant. They asked her a ton of specific questions. I loved it.
@@j.m.436 Dana and David were ok, but they’d ask a question, wait for her reply then immediately they’d jump into their own little bits of comedy shtick trying to one up each other, rather than focusing on interviewing her. It was kind of embarrassing to listen for them.
They do this every interview. Is this your first time?
@@A-small-amount-of-peas yeah, I know this is their “style” but it’s just getting old. I quit listening to the interviews because of that. Wish they’d learn to pace their worn out comedy bits better during the conversations.
