I like Edit Resources as Table 2 (4.1) / Edit Resources as Spreadsheet(3.5) is a simple straightforward addon that lets you easily manage multiple .tres files. Great for if you are using resources for things like an RPG item system.

I think we see lots of free addons for multiple reasons. The first one being that the community is centered around free & open source. The second is that most addons are simple tools that were developped for the developer benefit and made open source after. Finally, there's a lack of a good platform to sell addons (and maybe target audience?). The last point is going to change though. I'm pretty sure lots of devs would happily pay a small price for some addons that are doing incredible work.

How do I remove an addon from my project?
Deactivate it in the project settings and delete the folder under addons/the_addon_to_delete
