Apparently just adding water can make it freeze in cold weather so it is advised to use windshield washer fluid. I'm a bit confused too but as windshield washer fluid isn't too expensive, I'll just buy some and use that.
MrHuaquito I used distilled water, which means NOT from the faucet. Use the water you drink from, or you can boil water from the faucet, then let it cool and use that.
