The great thing about a teenage Big Band is, no matter how outrageously awesome anyone's solo is, everyone around him or her looks totally bored and unimpressed! Ha ha! Kids eh :)
Good job on the chart. I love when young people find jazz and keep it alive in each generation. Keep working at it and love the music you play. Hard work pays off. And jazz allows you to be creative like no other genre of music. And like someone else said, it’s great to see so many females in the band! Thumbs up band!
As a bari sax player, I really appreciate those trumpets not taking the spotlight. Most trumpets are unnecessarily loud, and these trumpets were disciplined.

I'm not hating, but is the guitarist using an SG? I'm used to jazz guitarists using semi-hollow guitars like Gibson's ES line.
ADJLfanatic52 it's a late reply, but it's a funk tune, and solid bodies give a sharper tone compared to an archtop.

It's the BORG Big Band, Krems (Austria). BORG (Bundesoberstufenrealgymnasium) is one of Krems' local high schools, mainly focusing on music.
