Why do singers like Fola come on the scene and quickly disappear? Those who cannot sing never go away. This is a lovely voice. I cannot forget the arrangements that complement her. Fola, keep singing. You are a lovely singer 👏👏👏👏❤️😇

An authority no less than Nestico himself praised the SWR unit as ‘best big band in world presently” and this wonderful recording attests to that FACT. Dada has wonderful time, taste, and BIG EARS to breathe new life into old standards. Altogether a great session (and on re-viewing list), congratulations to these cats!!
Every time I listen to this video I am taken somewhere I don’t know but it is pleasant and full of love for some girl. We are at peace and hoping that it never ends.
Each time I listen to this which is often, I must make my only negative observation. The videographer did not emphasize the singer to any appreciative degree. The attention was on the pianist and the band. I would have loved to see more of the singer than the band.
