Tien deserves a lotta credit. He may not be as powerful as the Saiyans, but hes powerful enough that his feats garner some attention

I love techniques
The fact that he got written off as a side character and they made Krillin stronger then him is such a slap in the face. Tien trains nonstop. He has his own school, he eat, trains, breaths fighting. He gets his arm ripped off, he keeps fighting. He doesn't cower and run, he faces death head on. How the heck is this guy stuck at D tier?? lol
Tien is one of the few to actually beat Goku, he's more ripped than most real life men, he can blow up planets (while that's not all that impressive on the DB verse, a lot of Marvel and DC characters can't boast about being able to nuke a planet), and I love his attempt to hold off Semi Perfect Cell
If we use comics character at their stronger a lot of them can go straight to multiversal and that on the low end sooo yeah. Example beyonder spiderman, phoenix force wolverine, sentry that was sane and merge with void, rune king thor, dr manhattan, the darkest knight(hate how he got his power), hal jordan, kyle reiner wonder woman the list could goes on.
hold on hold on dont get ahead of yall self. Damn near every basic comic character has some kinda universal+ form now, and what's crazy about the DC characters is that they consider all versions of each character canon, so that would include all of their most busted versions too. Me and a friend of mine literally have this running joke where we name some random comic character and then google "(character's name) strongest form" and 9 times out of 10 they have some absurdly powerful form or version, you could try it your self fr

Tien has always been impressive as a character, he’s always been my favorite earthling. They need an arc of tienshinhan learning more about his race or unlocking/purifying his third eye. It would awesome see his full potential and a new form.
Tenshinhan has always been my favorite. He is of an entirely different race and yet, nothing about his history is revealed. There's so much that can be elaborated on as far as untapping unknown strength and/or abilities.
When you get used to guys fighting literal gods you forget that Tien will probably become basically a mythical figure in the world of martial arts in the future.

Tien is most likely at SSJ2 level by DBS. If he have something similar to ultra instinct, like Master Roshi in the manga, he'll be a real force to be reckoned with.
I agree. If they wanna have Krillin, someone who doesn’t train very often, be capable of fighting beings who give Android 18 trouble, then I will agree with the case Tien can match Goku in his weaker SSJ forms.

Underrated opinion
I Think that Tien By Dragon Ball Super Surpassed Super Sayain 2 Gohan and while that maybe Weak Compared to Ultra Instinct Goku Hakaiashin Vegeta and Beerus it's Still Pretty Amazing for a Human, Got to Give him Respect for that.
If he really did, Tien would trash Ginuy.

Great video, Tien got done dirty in Super. I think of planet/sun busting as more of a technique thing than a power thing, like bullets VS bombs. I could blast a piece of paper with a sniper rifle and only make a small hole, but a good sized fire cracker would probably obliterate it even though it's weaker. The Neo Tri Beam is definitely strong enough to destroy the Earth, but it only makes craters and holes because it's not built for long distance and big booms like the Kamehameha... but whatever it hits is getting meeeeeessed up.

I have to say that Tien Should be considered the strongest martial artist in the world, considering that he was in the tournament of power, and was able to go against Frieza men In Resurrection F He’s not to be underestimated

Logically at this exact point in Super, Tien should be a beast and have a LOT more elements to him.
Tien and Krillin deserve better writing and more attention, and Yamcha needs a chance to redeem himself after the Saibaman incident.

Tien was my first favorite character all the way back from og DragonBall, I wish toriyama hadn't cast him aside to irrelevancy in dbz but glad he still gave him a few moments to shine, dbs is trash and just doesn't give af abt anyone but the saiyans. Pissed me tf off when they made roshi and krillin the strongest earthlings when tenshinhan surpassed roshi long ago in og db and at no point was krillin ever stronger than tenshinhan except for namek, bro has quit training multiple times whilst tenshinhans entire life is spent on training and yet they gave him far more shine just because he's gokus best friend.

Random fact: Tien's NEO Tribeam, isn't actually a triangle. If you watch, Tien only uses the Dio-Kohihai Technique to setup the Kikoho. The Dio-Kohihai is what he uses to "Zoom" in. And lock on to the target. Once fully locked on. It's near impossible to escape the blast used with it. HES ONLY a full triangle when he uses this. As soon as his uses the Tribeam, you'll see the triangle fade and become a loose square/rounded square, which is why his blast holes are all squares.
Seriously. Look him up and look at the gap between his hands. Never a triangle!

I always thought the tournament of power would be the best stage for tien to finally get some shine, considering bro has been entering martial arts tournaments his entire life and yet all they did was have frost bully him and gave him the WORST fight in the anime against fucking hermilla, a nobody that he shouldve defeated without getting knocked out
Tien has reverse plot armor, despite being a true martial artist, never stop training and being some sort of pseudo descended of an alien clan he gets always the short end of the stick.
In ep 75 goku and gohan were equal in base or ssj 1, this base goku and gohan > base goku black > ssb vegeta before time chamber (ep 56).
Later piccolo defeated ssj 2 gohan, so piccolo > ssj 2 gohan > hypothetical ssj 2 goku black > ep 56 ssb vegeta x 100. In ep 90 goku was confident tien's tri beam could handle piccolo, so anime t.o.p. Tien can casually kill r.o.f golden frieza, champa arc hit or ssb KKx10 and a hypothetical ssj 2 goku black with his tri beam.
And if you someone gohan defeated tien in base in their match, gohan and goku from ep 89 and 90 are 100x stronger than they were in ep 75 or the training for t.o.p.
Ssj 2 Gohan was folded by piccolo in their training, but in ep 90 both gohan and goku in base were equal or above that piccolo, so tien tri beam is op asf for goku to say that could handle a piccolo that was more than 100x stronger than base goku black or ep 56 ssb vegeta.
Actually, it was seven years after the defeat of cell. But I do think that maybe to tribeam is may be around perfect cell level

Actually, at the beginning, you say that he isn't as talented as Goku. But I disagree. Roshi himself said that Tien was the most Talented fighter that he has ever seen, and that was after training Goku. So I think it is mostly the genetic Saiyan advantage that Goku has over Tien. Tien can hope moves just from seeing them once after all.

You forgot to mention that Tien shinhan isn't human he in fact is an alien therefore it stands to be reasonable that his abilities are far above human his character is a perfect example of a glass cannon also as far as his training you mentioned tiens clone ability this man can train against himself each clone does put his power equally so think about it quantifying fighting your equal strength which means your results are also doubled but then when you return to normal those double results are added together so his training results are pretty much squared and since this is an ability he can continue to train over and over and over and over and over with himself and every time he improved his power level is squared then there's multiple factors like let's say he goes to korins tower and use the parabolic time chamber where 1 days equivalence of 1 year and the environment strains such as weight and pressure and heat are multiplied the deeper into the chamber you go. Lastly all of these how strong videos when applied to dragon Ball characters must be taken with a grain of salt as you have beings like dende and the dragon shenron which can instantly multiply your power levels exponentially literally asking the dragon to make you the most powerful being in the universe only takes a sentence to make it happen super Saiyan blue ultra instinct kaioken Goku is in the universe as well as Lord beerus and whis or black frieza that is a serious power boost.
