Although his strength has been augmented in the movies... Batman can currently lift around 1600 pounds with his arms and 2400 pounds with his legs and he supposedly has no super-powers and yet he's "peak human" 🙂 that sounds super-human to me...

Cap is actually insane just in terms of his fighting skill and the speed at which he processes information. No mere "peak human" could throw down with Thor and Hulk tiers and live to tell the tale. I think Thor and Hercules have statements saying that Cap is God-level in terms of his skill and tactical genius, which speaks volumes.
Yeah, Steve is a true badass when it comes to skill, heart, and spirit. This man will never back down from a fight nor give up regardless of whether or not he is outmatched and outgunned. Steve has the heart of a lion and the spirit of a warrior.

Most notably his "With great power comes great responsibility" that line has always stuck with me ever since growing up. He is legit superhuman. Him being peak human is a misconception based on the vague line “peak of human perfection” as well as dated handbooks that already had questionable information. Peak human would be Daredevil or Hawkeye.

Here is my problem with Cap. They classify him at Peak Human. However, he has pulled a helicopter from the sky in a single yank by tether. That is about 2 tons of lift. He threw his shield at an already launched ICBM and it caught up with enough force to destroy it. He is WAY over peak human.
I mean cap fought US agent for like hours and that guy's confirmed to be able to lift 10 tons! If we're being honest cap can probably can lift 10 tons himself!

The one thing I have never found out on Marvel’s strength classification is if the Class X means they can steadily lift X tons for extended periods, or if it is a weight they can lift through great exertion for brief periods. I’m not sure Steve is carrying around 10 tons for an extended period, but I do believe we have seen him do 5 or over for brief periods already.

He cannot be replicated and the closest they got was Hulk which means pound for pound Cap is the successful version of the Hulk! Caps body reacts to the threat level just like Hulks only not chaotic. Only Dr Erkskine knew his abilities. Cap has Superhuman power's , how' else do you guys tgink he can rip Iron Man suit apart and go at it with Ultron and tear his robot's apart bare handed.

I'll give you a Captain America gets humbled moment... In an Avengers comic from early 80's Captain America is feeling like he's the weak spot on the team. He is using all his strength to shoulder press a barbell full of weight (not shown how much). The Scarlett Witch asks him why he is pushing himself so hard? He explains he's feeling insecure. The Beast enters the gym and asks if he could use the weight Cap is using, then picks it up easily with one hand and walks away whistling as he carries it with one hand making Cap feel worse about his lack of superpowers. Maybe Hank McCoy's best moment.
@@IvaNTheUnStoppable I don't think you'd see that strength measurement of the gap between Cap (supersoldier) & Beast (class 10) depicted like that again. If Cap was pressing 1000K then yes Beast would play with that weight with one hand. In last several years, Cap always seems to be almost in range of anyone superstrong of late. You don't get the feeling Spiderman/Beast is that much stronger than him anymore but in truth they are. This is due to constant writing that shows Cap doing things well beyond peak human.

I used to think Steve and Bruce were a lot more even, but the last few months have really changed my opinion. But the truth is that Marvel's "street tier" characters are simply better than DC's, considering the majority of Marvel's "street tiers" have super powers and DC's don't.

easiest short answer! being able to match Deathstroke and Captain America in a HIGH DIFFICULTY physical battle and not using hax like mind manipulation and etc. if you going by Comic standards. One of the easier ways is if the character actually has super soldier serum! they're like the poster boys for super soldiers tier. comic humans also have this ability to wear if they train hard enough they can reach super soldiers tiers just from hard work and dedication via training without necessarily having no serum or superpowers. fighting speed you have to be able to casually dodge and react to Bullets, Missiles, lightning! EFFORTLESSLY striking power to be able to punch threw brick walls at least! I'm not a huge fan on Tiering someone based on their gear in comics.. like saying somebody has the power to blow up a building just because they use the rocket launcher to blow it up doesn't really seem fair.. obviously there's exceptions to this like characters where they're literally a part of their gear like Black Panther and iron Man. iron Man's gear obviously has to be counted because that's literally his character... a guy wearing a battle suit. characters like wolverine's gear has to count because you literally can't disarm him his gear because it's in his body aka adamantium claws. not to mention despite him lacking the strength to be up there with Thor and hulk level beings his claws can harm them regardless of how much lower his strength is if you're healing factor is on the level of wolverines you're instantly high-end super soldier tier by default I believe you can be a glass cannon and still be a super soldier tier if you can attack hard. You just have to use your dodging skills a lot more. hopefully this helps a little bit. All this is just my opinion anyway though
When I wrote my role playing game statistics for Captain America I ended up making him able to lift/press 800 lbs. Definitely above human normal, but low end for a superhero.
Original Fury is really underrated. But he is helluva cool. Also, I think Bullseye deserve a "How strong" video. He is also quite underrated in terms of his skills and creativity with objects which he can throw without any troubles

Not quite. He isn't that strong - people way stronger than him was existing before Lesnar. And Brock's best feats isn't even close to even non-superpowered "peak humans" in comics. Batman would fodderize Brock with ease.

I would say super-soldiers like Steve and Bucky in comics are 10 toners, while Peak Humans are more like Daredevil, Punisher, who are still two times stronger than strongest man alive.
Bucky isn't a super soldier. He has the metal arm. And later on in the comics, he's given the Infinity Formula, by Fury. But he's not a super soldier. He's [originally] the same tier as Falcon, DD, Hawkeye etc..

I'll give you a Captain America gets humbled moment... In an Avengers comic from early 80's Captain America is feeling like he's the weak spot on the team. He is using all his strength to shoulder press a barbell full of weight (not shown how much). The Scarlett Witch asks him why he is pushing himself so hard? He explains he's feeling insecure. The Beast enters the gym and asks if he could use the weight Cap is using, then picks it up easily with one hand and walks away whistling as he carries it with one hand making Cap feel worse about his lack of superpowers. Maybe Hank McCoy's best moment.

@@IvaNTheUnStoppable I don't think you'd see that strength measurement of the gap between Cap (supersoldier) & Beast (class 10) depicted like that again. If Cap was pressing 1000K then yes Beast would play with that weight with one hand. In last several years, Cap always seems to be almost in range of anyone superstrong of late. You don't get the feeling Spiderman/Beast is that much stronger than him anymore but in truth they are. This is due to constant writing that shows Cap doing things well beyond peak human.

I used to think Steve and Bruce were a lot more even, but the last few months have really changed my opinion. But the truth is that Marvel's "street tier" characters are simply better than DC's, considering the majority of Marvel's "street tiers" have super powers and DC's don't.

easiest short answer! being able to match Deathstroke and Captain America in a HIGH DIFFICULTY physical battle and not using hax like mind manipulation and etc.
if you going by Comic standards. One of the easier ways is if the character actually has super soldier serum! they're like the poster boys for super soldiers tier. comic humans also have this ability to wear if they train hard enough they can reach super soldiers tiers just from hard work and dedication via training without necessarily having no serum or superpowers.
fighting speed you have to be able to casually dodge and react to Bullets, Missiles, lightning! EFFORTLESSLY
striking power to be able to punch threw brick walls at least!
I'm not a huge fan on Tiering someone based on their gear in comics.. like saying somebody has the power to blow up a building just because they use the rocket launcher to blow it up doesn't really seem fair.. obviously there's exceptions to this like characters where they're literally a part of their gear like Black Panther and iron Man. iron Man's gear obviously has to be counted because that's literally his character... a guy wearing a battle suit. characters like wolverine's gear has to count because you literally can't disarm him his gear because it's in his body aka adamantium claws. not to mention despite him lacking the strength to be up there with Thor and hulk level beings his claws can harm them regardless of how much lower his strength is
if you're healing factor is on the level of wolverines you're instantly high-end super soldier tier by default
I believe you can be a glass cannon and still be a super soldier tier if you can attack hard. You just have to use your dodging skills a lot more.

When I wrote my role playing game statistics for Captain America I ended up making him able to lift/press 800 lbs. Definitely above human normal, but low end for a superhero.

And a lot of them has skills in actual wrestling/grappling. Dan Severn, Ken Shamrock, Brock Lesnar - all of them was not only pro wrestlers, but a legit MMA fighters.

They made him a tank, what are you talking about? He’s often only shown to be human in the comics, the pinnacle of human but still human at the end of the day, the MCU made him do stuff that a human can only ever dream of.
I would say super-soldiers like Steve and Bucky in comics are 10 toners, while Peak Humans are more like Daredevil, Punisher, who are still two times stronger than strongest man alive.
