Either this one, or the GBD-H2000 from Casio. Not quite sure yet. I already have the Instinct 2 Tactical and I am pretty happy with it. I 've read somewhere that the Instinct 3 is coming out sometime after October 24. Potentially worth waiting for it.
After the initial set up if you were to turn Bluetooth off will the moonphase, sunrise sunset times, barometer, and other functions still be up to date like on a Casio? I understand you won’t get proper weather info and some other smart functions that rely on phone communication but I am curious about the others before I go out and buy my first Garmin. Thanks
It looks like a great watch, but I'm worried about future software updates. If I buy this watch, I want it to last a long time and fulfill the "rugged" label that comes with it. Will future software updates render the watch unusable?
Trying to decide between this and the latest Rangeman GPR-B1000. I love me a G-Shock, but this has more functions. Even though I know I will never use 3/4 of them. Decisions.
Thanks for watching, coming from someone who loves gshock, as far as function goes Garmin converted me long time ago, now my EDC is Fenix 7x sapphire solar. But yes the 2x tactical would be a better buy
I ordered the same watch on Amazon and guess what is was missing. Someone took the watch out with accessories. I was waiting all day and met the Amazon guy and signed for the box. Opened it and I knew something was wrong because it felt light. Now it’s going to take 5-7 days to get my money back.
Thanks for watching, that is one of the tactical downloaded watch faces from the Garmin IQ store, it was a temporary trial download, u do have to pay for it though few dollars!
@@AllAboutAdventures strap is good, comfort fit, softer than gshock. And I would not try using any watch functions under water just in case…cheers, thanks for watching
@@ABHINANDAN272 love gshock but Garmin Instinct 2x tactical is dynamite…I would have kept it if I could get golf tracking but had to upgrade to Fenix 7X sapphire solar. Cheers, thanks for watching
The 40mm is really small and battery life is simply not good enough at this point. Maybe with new battery technology it will get better but the 2 and 2 x simply can't be beaten! At 30 minutes GPS use per day I average 35 days between recharge.
I just received mine today in FDE. I love how light it is compared to my Tactix 7 Pro Ballistic. Great video!
Which you like better?
Thanks for watching
I ’v got mine 2 weeks ago, and the heart rate meter is not accurate. When I measure it after a high intense activity its about 170 and it show 120.
Oh thats no good, I wonder if it's just your watch that needs calibration or something. Thanks for watching. Cheers

Go for Fenix if you have the budget, worth it!
@@TheCovertCrow Looks to bulky on my wrist to be honest. I tried it out and I just didn't like it.
I have the regular size (45mm) and it's a fabulous watch. Not pretty, but the functionality is off the charts.
Same here.
I really like it.
What is this like compared to the gbdh1000?
Is all the data displayed on the Garmin app for this watch represented in the same way as it is with a Forerunner 965?

Hey, I'm currently deciding on getting this one or the 45mm variant. Could you share your wrist size?

I think we got probably the full year of 2025 till the next version and even at that I think they will support updates for it for longer.

This watch is my daily driver as a mechanical contractor it takes a beating, I sport my g shock on the weekends 😂
What watch face is that at 8:11??

@TheCovertCrow. It's worth it,
Of course. Good luck with the channel, my friend.
Is this as tough as gshock? The band looks kinda flimsy and I'm still not sure if i can push the buttons underwater

great video mate! I am interested, but not sure about the next model. Will it come out soon? should I wait or get it? What do you think?

@@TheCovertCrow thanks. it is 420$ right now, I think not so bad :)
Can anyone detect my position if I wear that watch. Let's say an army with some electronic warfare technology.
