Hm, as creative feedback, I'd recommend pulling back on the closeups, a lot of scenes (especially when Isabel gave the money to Mayor) were terribly claustrophobic. The pacing is also far too slow, this should have taken 1/2 the playtime, preferably 1/4. The character design in Animal Crossing was meant to be readable from a distance, so the lack of detail makes closeups dull (the models are incredibly rough, which worsens this effect). The motions should be far snappier with less ease-in, a quick and satisfying connection, then an ease-out/recoil to match the motivation (see Tex Avery and the like for reference). The lighting could help spice things up if you slightly vary it rather than keeping it static; imagine sunlight coming in a window having slight dimming effects from, say, clouds passing by overhead, and tree limbs filtering the light. indoor artificial light looks better if it ever so slightly varies as well, as a camera exposure often adjusts on the fly, and it makes for a more visually interesting experience. Hope this helps.
Yes! Finally, some constructive criticism. For the second episode I've already incorporated more dynamic lighting, well paced and fluid animation, etc. The close ups, however, will remain practically the same or maybe less so. I'm using better quality models though, so no worries. I will definitely keep this in mind while finishing the scene I'm currently working on. (Also, if you want I can send you the unedited clip on a particular scene from the next episode.)
