@@spacejunk2186 you would be surprised at how many of these discoveries aren't random occurrences. There is an entire online community dedicated to finding game exploits, kind of sad really
Mostly guessing but I think what happens is that you are doing two actions at once that want to place you in two different positions. I noticed after watching this that when you enter a vehicle your "camera" moves then chief does the enter animation. Same with meleeing it moves your position slightly. Now there is likely a bug in the code that when you "teleport" positions like entering a vehicle or meleeing and these teleportation are happening in the same frame they are added together causing you to move roughly double your current coordinates. The reason the game freezes is likely because these two teleportation assume you are in a ghost and not in the ghost at the same time. My guess is that these values are held in two different memory locations and both are true causing movement to be disabled. You are in the new location but in an unplayable state reloading fixes the ghost paradox but doesn't fix your position. The game obviously then uses spatial triggers for mission progress pretty often so being in that double teleported area causes you to jump ahead in game progress. Now we know this game has an issue with thread unsafe operations and coordinates. It seems as if coordinates can likely be modified unnaturally if you do multiple teleportations at once "think jumping in a turret" etc... I'm almost certain there is an easier and faster way to do this.
I always find it hilarious that devs spend so long on making a long and complete game then speed runners come in and finish the game in minutes. I know speed runners have to spend a lot of time finding these glitches and such but it still is rather funny.
I mean these speed runners have probably played through the game more than anyone else, and spent more time in the campaign than anyone else. These are the people who have been playing games decades upon decades after everyone else has moved on from them.
Speedrunners play the game for way longer that any other group and they also do it at a very high skill level and very fast, if you do things like that you will inevitably find exploits and bugs in any game you play in fact sometimes without even trying to find them, whenever im playing a new game i always find a way to get out of bounds on day 1 and im not a speedrunner.

@@supernice_auto The requirements are very small. First as you can see with a warthog and ghost the vehicle doesnt seem to matter. Second, the vehicle parked against a rock.
