- In this video, we are showing you the ultimate 24-hour itinerary for Luang Prabang, Laos.
We started our day by hopping in a mini-van and heading over to the STUNNING Kuang Si Falls. Kuang Si Falls is a must-visit when in Luang Prabang, Laos! The milky turquoise blue pools of water set inside the deep foliage of the jungle is just breathtaking. It is such a treat to dip into the cool water on a hot day!
Next, we headed to a butterfly garden that was near Kuang Si Falls and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was nice getting away from the crowds and the butterflies were beautiful. The girls working here were very knowledgeable and eager to share. We would definitely recommend stopping here if you go to the falls.
We headed over to a buffalo dairy farm and had some house-made ice cream. There were many uniques flavors on the menu and they were all delicious!
After we got back into Luang Prabang, we decide to make to hike up the 328 steps to the top of Mount Phou Si to see the sunset. We finished our day by indulging in a fancy and slightly bizarre dinner.

If you want to see the true beauty of this magical country, you have to go see it in person. Laos is very quiet due to the low population. It's not crowded and noisy like Vietnam, China, or India. You will enjoy the peace and solitude.

It's only cool when you go visit this magical country in person. If you like the quiet place, Laos is the country for you. It's low population. Lots of space and nature for you to think about life.

@@SammyandTommy Wow! My husband and I were so surprised to see such crowds! We had not been there since 2017, so in 3 years it had so many more tourists. We have been in October/November or February. I have not seen all your Lao videos, but I did scan the titles. We love the capital, Vientiane, and also the 4000 islands, especially don Khone. Maybe you can get to them next time!

I take vacation to Laos every year. I love the mountains and waterfalls in Laos. I plan to buy house in Laos before I retire in 2042.
A Beautiful waterfall that can match bali and philiipines.
Kuang Si is definitely a stunner, we still need to go and explore Bali!
@@SammyandTommy yeah there are nice waterfalls in bali but the one in kuang si (blue water) reminded me of those vlogs i saw about kawasan falls philippines or those on siquijor island. By the way, in lake toba (sumatra island), samosir has great waterfalls better than bali. When the volcano erupted 75k years ago, it created a huge lake and the island inside is larger than singapore! So this is the typical 'an island within an island' scenario. Samosir island. One waterfall came out from the side of a cliff but above is just a normal piece of land with no water. I am not sure where so much water came from. Sipisopiso is the name.

I swam in the same pool at Kuang Si and yes it was quite cold. The water was a bit higher when we were there and there’s a pic of me in the cave behind the waterfall that’s just to your right at 8:51

Man, everyone says these fried insects are actually tasty, but they look so weird, I don't know I would be able to try 😅... What's with all these "Danger" signs on the waterfalls area, slippery ground? The place looks stunning! 😍

How did you get your visa to enter Laos?
Staying at an elephant conservation camp allows you to go to the waterfalls via an elephant ride through the jungle followed by a raft river cruise back to the camp, staying overnight. Thoroughly recommended, though maybe not ecologically accepted these days. Thanks for the memories🙏👋
