I don't get why people don't seem to like the sound the S55 engine makes. I love it! Very raspy and aggressive. I love the sound of the M Performance Exhaust!

Im not huge on it. The e46 with a proper carbon air intake and good exhaust is prob peak v6 bmw as far as noises go

We want the M8 competition
Def sounds better than stock but still lacks character and still sounds like an angry lawnmower esp during launch control. Not good, but better. Trying to decide between an f80/f82 M3/m4, e92 M3 or gt350. Have been wanting a manual v8 because they sound bad ass, but I like the interior quality and everyday drivability of the f80. The 350 is awesome but I don’t like that you are always playing a character in that car so to speak. I like how the f80 is a bit under the radar as with all German sports sedans, but I already have one now, so it wouldn’t be much different. Plus I just can’t get around that tepid exhaust sound compared to the other two choices.

@@nickhechtel3133 M3 e36 and e46 are legends without no doubt , everyone would like to have one of these in their garage but m2 competition is completely another level. I have driven one for a short time and its the best car i have ever driven for sure , it's accuracy is unbelievable , driving experience is on top and most important it gives you a big smile every time you drive it. One of the best car BMW ever made and one of the best car in the market
