Lucas will not go anywhere unless Sacha is on the same team. The main reason he went decarli is their dad wants the family to be on the same team.
more wins in 2024 than Dewolf. Kids legit, needs to mature yes, but hes the real deal.
I think it makes sense to stay with KTM because then he can use as a bargaining chip to get his brother on the team with him. If he goes Ducati then his brother is on his own to find a ride in the US. Not that he won't be able to but it may not be with a factory squad. I doubt Lucas would role that dice, so he would stick with KTM and make his brother joining the team part of the deal. I think that also lines up with AP being on the last year of his deal, so they move Vialle up to the 450, sign Coenan to a 450, then you have his brother on the 250 along side JuJu.

I wonder if sexton doesn't try to get out of that ktm contact before or during sx. He seems to really hate that bike on sx and smx. Craig and Brown both said in recent interviews how bad the chassis is and how hard it is to get them to change stuff.
The best scenario for De Wolf and Coenen would be train SX here, race a couple in the East but mostly focus on outdoors and the 3 playoffs- period. SX for a lot of dudes are career enders due to the huge risk of injury factor. With SMX playoff money and prestige, outdoors/ smx is the smartest route to go for money and risk reward.

Get your facts straight !! Kid just turned 17 this year, was P2 in MXGP 2 by 20 points to De Wolf, with less wins. You don't get there by being "on the dirt all the time"

Unfortunately, MXGP talent and SX talent is not the same. It is more important to win in SX which sells more energy drinks than moto related stuff.

Lucas won’t go to Ducati because Ducati have no 250, Sacha ain’t moving up to a 250 for a few years.
The Coenen’s are a package deal, you get both. The dad makes sure of it.
He almost turned down the KTM & Husqvarna deal because they weren’t on the same team, he was gonna start his own team so they could be together.
