When i got my mini i was not able to grind espresso and i asked mischief. I was told to place a spacer or washer under the cutter so its closer to the other burr. It worked well and the espresso tastes great. It was a small investment for great taste from espresso.
Probably because mischief as a company is very notorious for completely copying high end coffee products. Not only is it scummy, but may speak to how long the support for a specific coffee product they provide.
Finally, somebody reviewed this product on YT. Before this, I've only found one YT video about this product, and it was spoken in a different language. I wasn't really able to understand it.
Been using the Mischief Mini daily for the past 3 mos with a Flair Signature and it’s an easy recommendation for an espresso-capable electric grinder at under 8k. Close to 0 retention with just RDT and a few taps from the top, flexible enough for espresso and filter, easy to clean as well. I’d recommend giving the top a tap or shake as you’re finishing grinding as 1 or 2 beans tend to stick to the angled portion of the hopper.
Hi interesting to see this mini grinder. Do you think better to upgrade from their hand grinder? But I do wonder how this grinder perform vs starseeker e55. Look almost the same. Appreciate your input. Thanks.
I haven't tried the starseeker E55. But if you plan to do any espresso, then this is worth upgrading to from their hand grinder just for the sake on convenience
How can you review this without mentioning that this is a blatant knockoff of the Lagom mini?! What sort of channel / roasters does that? Your ethics speak loud. Can imagine how you go about sourcing your beans!!! SHAME!
Mischief’s business ethics aside, this is a ridiculous comment. First he did mention the controversy surrounding Mischief Workshop and you make a lot of far fetched assumptions in that the reviewer must have poor ethics just because he reviewed this grinder. Something to consider as well is that this review may be partially aimed at the Asian market. For me (and you?) as a European it would be easy to slag off potential buyers in other parts of the world where salaries are a lot lower compared to here. Mischief makes a lot of clones (certainly not the most ethical decision) but this not a direct copy of the Lagom Mini design (apart from the burr set), but was certainly inspired by it.

@jeffreynester7326 could you share more or detail on how the washer is placed? would like to try this for my espresso grind as well for this machine.

Loved the review! Gotta love Mischief - I only have the baskets, but for the price they are amazing!

Where did you buy your Manus?
Sir, anong size po nhnvy nut na nag se secure sa Burr? Is it 8mm, 10mm?
Awesome review!
Looks very similar to Lagom Mini...
This or fellow ode gen 2? Pour over only
I prefer this!
@wideawakeph3662 thank you!
I have the older version of this grinder and it actually doensn't have the loud clicking system. The white looks nice though
From 0 to 2.5 to 3 rotation For espresso? While for filter you only made 1.5 rotation? Finer setting for filter than for espresso?
Hi there! no, it's 0.2.5-0.3 for espresso and around 1.4-1.5 for filter
@@wideawakeph3662 thank you for clarifying. I got confused when I saw in the screen “2.5 to 3 rotations”.
Could we say that copying Comandante's burr design was quite *mischievous* of them?
Like from Russia! Thank you.

This model actually isn't a blatant knockoff of the lagom mini. Thank you for watching
He literally mentioned it.
