SO good! Reminds me of when I was young and would imagine handheld versions of Adventure 1, 2, Heroes, and those other games for the Gamecube. As much as I loved the Advance series and the stories of the aforementioned games, I thought it would be interesting to see them translated to handheld. Now we get handheld versions of every main Sonic release and that's very much a childhood dream come true for me!

If SEGA ever did a DS adaptation of SA2B, this would be the intro.
They would more likely do one for the GBA, to tie in with the Battle port. Your point still stands, though
