- I really wanted to make a video like for a long time! This scene and battle has been one of my favorite Sonic moments since I first played SA2. This was kinda a quick project, only took about three weeks, but I'm happy with how it turned out. Of course the video lags a bit compared to the original SWF file, my converter is that great. Hope you enjoy!

Can someone explain to me why gokus voice fits sonic so much? like I recognize some of the grunts from goku but it isn't distinguishable from his regular voice. I find that cool.
I think the editor raised the pitch of the voice clips from Goku a bit to make it fit better but I could be wrong. Sometimes it sounds off from the original and others it sounds directly ripped.

I’m one of those people that are in love w the arc cutscene and I Really appreciate you having them zoom down the hall at light speed, all the other remakes, even the original has them going at what looks like 30 mph tops, which always disappointed me even as a child.

There's also the whole "Sonic fucks up the eclipse cannon" thing that Shadow the Hedgehog the game seems to have forgotten about.
6 years late, but that cannot be canon because the final episode starts from eggman being in the room(where sonic would have to be at to destory the cannon) having inserted the real emeralds. No idea why sonic would just go away after beating shadow(which has to happen or else he just dies), but I guess it just happens.
@Mason Alvarez But then it is nonsense that the first scene of the final story is framed as if gerald's secret program was the reason for the cannon not working because it is overwriting the command. It just really makes no sense to me, there is no continuity to mess up, this just shouldn't happen in the first place.
@Mason Alvarez Nah dude the hero story ending is non Canon. The final story is the Canon one where Eggman actually gets it done but then they have to team up to stop the earth from exploding. I wonder though why Eggman was trying to fire the cannon which would blow up the earth but then helped save it because he wouldn't want there to be nobody left alive to rule over.

Well, you're pretty much right. Sonic's trademark speed is considered his natural ability, though. And with velocity comes certain force, that is certain. Shadow closes this gap with his jet shoes.
Both Sonic and Shadow are able to use Chaos Control, and I don't think it's cannon, but there's always Sonic Wind. It's prominent that Shadow is more efficient with Chaos techniques, however.

In the game, Shadow's goal was to kill Sonic while Sonic's goal was to stop the canon. When shadow beats sonic, the canon still gets destroyed, while when sonic wins, you see who destroys the canon (sonic). And when you get to the final mission, you can see sonic is still alive and walking, meaning shadow failed, and you can also see the canon is'nt working, meaning sonic stopped it. So with a little common sense, you can tell shadow didn't beat sonic

According to the story, sonic wins. Because even if you choose the dark story, shadow still loses because at the end eggman asks "why won't the canon fire?!", and it doesn't fire because sonic blew it up after he defeated shadow. And also at the mystery story, Sonic's still alive, and the whole purpose of that battle was to kill sonic. So since sonic didn't die, the only answer is he won.

actually...if you read the sonic universe comics (the shadow saga), the match wasn't even finished. While they were fighting, Rouge told both hedgehogs to watch a video, which showed the prototype of the ultimate life-form: Biolizard, merged with the ARK. That's when they went super form and Shadow passed out afterwards. If you still think Sonic would win, take a look at the prison island fight in the comics. Rouge interrupted the fight there too, which caused the two to team up.

CzillaPlaysMinecraft I meant that they always teleport everywhere while fighting, with DBZ sounds, there is always some kind of lazer/"energy" balls, they fight mostly in the sky, etc..

I've always wondered why Animators use Goku's voice clips for Sonic...none of Sonic's voice actors sound anything similar to Sean Shemmel.

Idk i'd have to say that Sonic and Shadow are relatively even in a fight. They are both fast, strong, and have strong wills to win against one another. Shadow does have an edge over Sonic with his Chaos Powers and his strength, but Since Sonic is in fact, the main character and the hero, and Shadow is an anti hero/villain Sonic will win every time.
