Dan, amazing colorwork knitting. So even and gorgeous. Your efforts are inspiring! I love dandelion and dogwood yarn. I got her advent last Christmas and the colorways were exquisite! All based on roses from her garden. Yep, everyone was shouting out. It's called the middle finger. Pinky, ring finger, middle finger, index finger and thumb. Haha. There ya go! Happy knitting.

Your sunflower colourways are perfect! Here on the Canadian Prairies, you don't see the sunflower crops til much later in the summer +/or early fall. The fields are amazing to look at, so much so, people taking selfies with them have trampled over the crops to get the best social media pics. Farmers were upset because they were losing a lot of their crops and money. One farmer decided to turn a specified area into a 'selfie booth' for a monetary donation to a local charity. Win win all the way around.
Kay, I love your shawl. It’s so pretty. You inspired me. I have made two so far and did an icord bind off on them. I can’t wait to see what bind off you choose. They were both made out of acrylic yarn because that is what I can afford, but I would love to make one with a soft wool one day. Thanks again for the inspiration.
Oooh I am on the countdown to the Autumn too! I am not a fan of the Summer at all! I invested in an expensive fan a few years ago - it is cooling and silent but it dries out my eyes!
For me, being American, my favorite is Pittsburgh Steelers, but I like a lot of other teams as well. My husband is a football fanatic and has lots of different teams jersey, but his favorite team is the Cowboys.

My dad was stationed at RAF Alconbury back in the 60s. We loved our years spent in England. My husband and I are cruising around the UK next year so I can fulfill my dream to see England again. RAF Lakenheath is where the American families got health care.
Just thinking of the difference between “less” and “fewer”-I suspect it has to do with whether the item is divisible/countable. Such as, “I’m going to try applying less paste this time,” vs “Greg’s house definitely has fewer windows than mine.” 😊

The sunflower is my birth flower. My absolute favorite. We planted them for the squirrels. Once the seeds would ripen the squirrels would come and harvest them.
I knit socks on 9 inch circulars and would love to try making socks on dpns. It just looks like it’s too fiddly. Or maybe it’s because I just don’t know what I’m doing yet LOL. I live in the state of Texas and I can tell you. I am not a fan of the summer here. Too hot.🥵 for my liking.
Had a little giggle about the addressing of letters. My daughter sent out wedding invitations recently and put the address in the top left corner. Unsurprisingly, some of them were returned to her!

I agree with Dan about magic loop and I much prefer DPNs which totally work for me especially knitting socks and I will not change from DPN sock knitting either! Likewise don't like 9: circulars either Anne 🦘

How did you fox the little arm on your ball winder? I have the same one and I stand there holding it when I’m winding yarn.
