Located in Issaquah, Washington the park is just an 18 minute drive from downtown Seattle. The park is popular for its swimming beaches, trails, fishing, boating, playgrounds, sports fields, bird watching, 475 picnic tables, and 75 barbecue grills.

Lake Sammamish is shared by 4 cities in King County; Redmond, Bellevue, Sammamish and Issaquah.
Today at Lake Michigan, hundreds of people of all ages met at Lake Michigan to have a fun swim-in. All had big smiles on their faces and floaties. I wish we could do that here at Lake Sammamish!
