More cooking wizardry! This is an excellent multi-use dough. As a seasoned Baker I commend you for using this dough recipe because its simple but so flexible.
As long as it's safe to eat, and a person enjoys making things with it, who cares? Seriously, some bakers need to get a life! Enjoyed this video.. ❤️💯 I'm so thrilled about your new stove!!! ❤️❤️❤️
Dawn, you're such an amazing human being. I love your videos and continuously stop by your channel to see if you have new content. I'm so happy that you got your oven, you deserved it!
Congratulations on your new stove/oven! What a sharp-looking appliance! You're going to make all sorts of amazing meals there. That dough is very close to something I use to make flatbreads, with the yogurt and such. Very versatile and delicious.
Congratulations on the stunningly beautiful new range, Lisa! Two ovens will come in so handy for you, especially at the holidays. Thanks for all these wonderful recipes. You did an amazing job!
As usual, always a pleasure and inspiration. But, I do believe this is one of your best yet! I've been cooking and baking way longer than you've been around, and I'm not bad, but I still always learn a ton from your videos! Thanks for all the time and effort I'm sure must go into all of your content. Congrats on the new stove, you so deserve it! (I would have had to add a couple of finely chopped pecans to those cinnamon rolls before you rolled them up.)
hi Lisa so very happy you have a new oven! You cook a lot and that oven will serve you well! Love your videos blessings and happy cooking! wow Andrew is blessed! wow
Oh, Lisa I am so happy about your new stove!! You certainly deserved the two oven model!! You give so much to your family with your love of cooking, thank you for sharing with us!!
No matter what I’m watching, I stop and tune in as soon as I see you posted a new video. Never disappoints, please keep sharing! I’ve been a fan since your dollar tree videos and you’ve changed my idea of what’s possible for a great meal ever since! Thanks from NY!
Does it have the texture of bread or a biscuit?I ask because I've seen videos of people making biscuits with flour and yogurt.kerp the videos coming you are amazing
When I did WW I made two ingredient dough all the time with FF Greek yogurt! I really enjoyed using it! I love all your videos and I’ve learned so much from watching you! I now make pierogies and tortillas all the time!
I don’t unravel my cinnamon roll, but I do on the pecan pinwheels. Love the new stove. That double oven will come in handy for the holidays. I have always wanted to try the two ingredient bread.
So glad to hear about the new oven!!! You were past due for a new one. 🙂 Loved Andrew's OMJ (old man joke). 😉😆 I don't make anything you show in the videos, as I'm just not physically able, but still love watching them all. You are the best at creating tight budget friendly, yet flavorful meals.
I am SSSOOO excited for your new stove!!! My stove is exactly like your old one so I would love to see you use the double oven and how much you like it!! Congrats!!!
First learned about this dough from weight watchers. I've made calzones stuffed with all kinds off things, apple turnovers, Jelly donuts. Everything bagles, Pizzas, & flat breads ..I love your channel.. and love your lust for CREATIVE cooking. I Always look forward to watching you. No one deserves that Stove More Than YOU❤😘
I wonder how many New Yorkers are screaming 'that isn't how you cut bagels!', lol. I got educated by my boyfriend, who is from New York. Great recipes, I will try these, for sure!
I discovered this dough recipe when COVID hit, and there was absolutely no yeast to be found for almost a year. Surprising when almost everyone claims to be gluten intolerant, yeast was no where to be found 😜 My favorite use for this dough is pizza crust.
WOW -congrats on the new stove! You truly deserve it and will enjoy using it. I'd love to have one just like it. Thank you for showing how to make the dough and then how to use it! YUMMY!
Wow. 🥲 sweet. My mamaw made similar rolls. I had forgotten until you showed the finished bake... I am very moved. When I watch your videos I find myself smiling and smiling. You are so real and in tune to your audience. Thank you for taking the time to put your contacts on. I know it's hard and time consuming but you're most excellent at it. My mommaw would spread the dough out in about 24 inches round diameter spread the soft butter all over it, get her sweet hand and sprinkle granulated sugar lightly over the whole thing and then she would put her finger over the vanilla bottle top and start shaking drops of vanilla all over it but not too much you know then she would sweetly roll it up just like you did very gently, but then she would pull on it. She would try to make that snake long and then she would just slowly and deliberately cut 2 inches all the way down and I tell you what she would make those when all the aunts would come over and we would have a big family get together. We could always count on those cinnamon rolls and the sugar was she would boil one part water, two parts, granulated sugar, and when it was done, she would pull the spoon up and if it dripped and sort of hung like a strand of hair she said it was done. I never knew how to make the cinnamon roll dough!!!though, but now I can because you showed me how with just two ingredients ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Yay mom for talking u into getting a nice new oven for yourself! U deserve it! I wish I could cook like u. I can never come up with stuff to throw together like u. I always have to look up a recipe and then try to find one that works with the stuff I got. So frustrating.
Yes!! Fellow cinnamon roll unravelers unite. 😁 I am excited to try this dough. Thx for all the great ideas. Congratulations on the new double oven. Excellent choice 👌
Congratulations on the new appliance. I know you’ll enjoy it and we as your viewers will enjoy it with you. I look for your videos daily and am always disappointed when there isn’t a new one. But then I just start watching all the previous episodes. Please keep making more.
I'm absolutely amazed at all these items you made with the 2 - ingredient dough. I'm definitely making all these with my grand daughter. She could learn so much from you. Thank you, God bless you from grandma Katie in Oregon
Thank you Lisa, this is amazing. We just made pizza with our child and he was so excited and this dough taste way better than any pizza dough I made or bought ready made. I love how you don’t waste like most of the other cooking channels
Great video. Especially in these inflationary times. I need to try these---that flour is always the one people don't seem to use much and is kicking around in the pantry. Amazing creativity!
I’m making all of these as soon as I get some plain yogurt! Thanks for sharing, I watch That 1870’s homestead and she made this dough but only did the flat bread.
i think i first did it with plain greek yogurt, then grabbed the kind you have the next time, and the greek yogurt definitely gave it a much better flavor, almost tasted like it had cheese in it thanks for the video :)
@everyone If you add a bit of yeast to THIS mix in video, wait (let dough raise)like 10-20 min, then bake, it will totally make them more yeast raise without all the extra work or long wait times, so to the self raise & the yeast working together. Such a great cheat

I’ve been making my own self rising flour for a while. You can tell I don’t cook, because I never even thought to use the dough for something other than plopping it on the baking pan and making drop biscuits. Thank you for this! Once I bought a glass flat top double oven stove I never went bk.It's very helful to bake or roast different things at the same time.Congratulations on your new stove..I love your videos, you are an amazing cook, and overall great creator of awesome things without super expensive tools or ingredients..❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉
I used a similar recipe only with salt added to make some naan last week, basically what your pitas were. I coated them with garlic parsley butter when they came off the stove, and they were delicious! I'm gonna try making a dessert with this dough. I have thus jar of lemon curd I found at Aldi a month ago, I think I'll make some kind of lemon cream cheese rolls.
@@ksacosta69 Yes! It was of delicious! Too bad it was limited edition. I ended up making pizzelles instead, because my friend got a pizzelle iron at the thrift store, and I wanted to try it out. So we topped them with sweet cream cheese and lemon curd (and Aldis blueberry preserves for the kids) I tried one with the lemon and the blueberry, and man was it a good combo!

GURL you earned that new oven SO HARD!!! I'm so happy for you AND cannot wait to see allll your new vids coming from this oven... keep on keepin on doing the good work gurl!! much love!
Thank you for these recipe examples! I never have a large container of plain yogurt but after watching, I now realize a little yogurt cup will work using the 1:2 ratio guidance. Will be fun to experiment with some of these ideas!
I know this dough from a naan recipe, fried the pan. So easy and really delicious (especially topped with melted butter infused with fresh crushed garlic and fresh chopped cilantro.
I saw someone also use cottage cheese to make it so since I had expiring cottage cheese. I tried that version with bagels. Love both versions with cottage cheese and yogurt. And the milk or cream wash instead of egg for the bagels is brilliant! I used half and half because that is what I had
I have the same oven. Love it! You will get used to it. Love the "warming zone" as well as the fast cook burner (although be careful- it does heat up quickly). Explore the possibilities of convection....
I love this video and this dough. Speaking as a dough-challenged person. Lol. I’ve made this several times with Greek yogurt. When I do, it takes about 1 1/2 cups of flour to one cup yogurt. But today I learned something. I used regular yogurt and 1 cup yogurt took about 2 1/2 cups of flour! Plus, it didn’t have that sour undertone/taste that Greek yogurt has. I’m switching!!
I really love this dough. I use heavy fat percentage Greek yogurt to make my bread via the recipe because I have T2D & prefer a higher fat / protein amount. It's delicious, quick and super easy.
Dawn, this was an amazing video!! I would make some biscuits and have sausage gravy and biscuits, yum, yum :) You could probably use for a chicken pot pie, or any pie too. I'm gonna play back and write down the recipe. Your new stove his beautiful!! Thanks so much for sharing.
Yay! So glad you got a new stove/oven! You certainly deserve it! ❤️ Love this dough recipe too. I think I might even be able to make something with this! 😊😊❤️
Those cinnamon rolls looked fabulous!! I just might have to try those out, with lots of cream cheese frosting on top. Those two things go together quite deliciously!! Your videos just get better and better. I’ve binged watched all of them. I also love the hot pink hair!! Looks really good on you!❤❤
Also I can't wait for the sourdough series! My husband buys his from Aldi's and I would love to make him a fresh loaf every week. That'd level me up! Haha
I’m always so happy to see a new video from u. Congrats on your new oven. You definitely deserve it. Everything you made looks amazing. I eat cinnamon rolls the same way, unraveling them. It’s more fun that way. Lol. Tfs❤

Yum! Thanks, Lisa! Part of the reason I never make bagels is the length of time it takes - when I want one, I want one then, not four hours later!

I really love this dough. I use heavy fat percentage Greek yogurt to make my bread via the recipe because I have T2D & prefer a higher fat / protein amount. It's delicious, quick and super easy.
Hey Lisa, I love watching someone with the same ideas and likes as myself. Hi from Charlotte NC
Yay! A new oven!
I love the new stove!!!
Can’t wait to try this dough!
You SO deserve the best ! Happy for your new stove /oven ♥️♥️♥️
Yay! So glad you got a new stove/oven! You certainly deserve it! ❤️
Love this dough recipe too.
Haha
You will love the double ovens! I have a stove similar to that and I’ve been very pleased.
I’m always so happy to see a new video from u. Congrats on your new oven. You definitely deserve it. Everything you made looks amazing. I eat cinnamon rolls the same way, unraveling them. It’s more fun that way. Lol. Tfs❤
New oven is beautiful! Can't wait to see you use it!
You have starved us! I can’t wait to try your dough! Gary and Deb Gnagey
