Different classes One is a real car you can drive on the street. One is a tin can that will basically end up as scrap metal. Mopar has all the records pound for pound. Ford and everyone else has to use a Mopar engine design in top fuel for a reason.

good runs, but if i am not mistaken the cobra is a non street legal purpose built drag car with mods, the 170 is a street legal car that has drag features and promoted as a street/drag car. Honestly thiink comparing the runs is a bit harsh on the 170. I like dodge and the hemi. If they built one that is not street legal i am sure you would do MUCH better

The car is at least 4,200 plus a not anorexic driver, race weight is fairly close to 5,000 pounds. I've seen published weights from certified scales that show Demon weights between 4,200-4,400 plus. Plus driver weight on top of that. Dodge should have put this drivetrain in the AWD Challenger GT... traction problems eliminated.
