The house is incredible, it’s so upsetting they’re knocking it down and all the trees down too! just to build houses that all look the same with no nature :( Thanks for touring around for us!
This is the house of my dreams! That back deck alone is enough to just make you fall in love with this house! What a shame this beautiful house is gonna be torn down.
I think I just discovered a new ASMR trigger! When Mary kept assuring us that she wasn’t alone or wasn’t going to get injured “It’s alright. It’s okay. I’m alright.” The gentle reassurance seems to be my new ASMR trigger. And I’m glad you were careful and had a friend with you for backup 🧡
Think of all the things that can be salvaged from that house…windows, doors, wood from the deck, cabinets, island, counter tops, tub, tiles etc…I hope it’s stripped before it’s demolished! If I was renovating or building a new home and knew about this place I’d be picking it clean 😂 😂
Sad all of those beautiful trees will be destroyed in the process☹ living here in the Desert I sure do miss the beauty here. Love that voice though! Thanks again for all of the hard work you put in for all of us here in ASMR land.♥
The second kitchen is a spice kitchen. It’s really common for ethnic households. It’s where you can cook curries and stuff without staining the main kitchen and also keeps the smell contained.
I found your last two stepped house walk-through - before it was destroyed - surprisingly relaxing, and interesting on so many levels. A huge fan of all your work, especially the organizational videos. you have a gift and you use it and I’m so grateful. Look forward to watching this.❤
This house is amazing!!! Love it I can just imagine the holidays and gatherings in that lovely home had over the years! So sad yo see it go what a stunning home!
That would have been an amazing fixer upper! I initially read the title as vacation house tour😅 I got excited bc I live in NC and love to see videos of people's vacay rentals. It helps me plan my trips based off of their reviews.
So sad that this obviously custom made house is being demolished for a crappy bunch of townhomes. We are losing the tranquil forests, farms, fields to greedy cash grabs. Oh well, it was the owner’s choice to sell.
We are losing more of those things to build endlessly sprawling single family neighborhoods. At least townhomes fit a lot more people in the same amount of space.
I love this style house and I am so sad that no developer is building single family homes anymore. They could work around the mature trees and try to preserve some of the nature.
“No developer is building single family homes…” virtually all development in America is single family homes. It’s honestly shocking that this developer wants to build townhomes that would be more affordable and could house more people, especially important since we are in a nationwide housing shortage.
Thanks for showing this. That would be my dream house. If I were a kid growing up there I would have roller skated all over that deck. What a waste. ☹️
Wow I absolutely love the way the deck goes all the way around. This must have been a beautiful home. It doesn’t even look that old either, such a shame that it’s gonna be gone
The house reminds me of The Last of Us and Days Gone. One of my favorite things in post-apocalyptic games are the nature taking back houses and buildings. Both sad and reassuring at the same time.
What a waste of a beautiful kitchen that someone else could get so much use out of!! Great video Mary, I especially enjoyed the drive up the driveway - sooo relaxing 😊
That second small kitchen off the main kitchen is most likely a butlers kitchen or “butlers pantry.” I see them often in higher end homes. I am a real estate photographer, and I’m in and out of about 4 houses per day on average, so I see lots of things lol, but this is always interesting to see inside abandoned homes. Love the stone work on the exterior as well!
The storage in this house is amazing. I don’t know if I would even have enough stuff to fill it but I love how there’s so many cool places to put things
Miss Mary, please stay safe when visiting places like this. I to am a abandoned explorer so to speak, and I've come across some crazy people while visiting places.
That is beautiful land and love the deck-a-round But the details!!!! Wish someone like “habitat for humanity” could go in and get the drawers/ those beautiful glass doors? Toilets/ showers/counters/ sooo much!!! And such a waste to just be razed!
Mary, I LOVE these types of videos I have watched them for years. Thank you for taking us along with you! I always wonder about the families who once lived there: who they were, the time they spent designing and decorating the house, if newborn babies were brought home there, birthdays, happy times, sad times... Anyway, thank you!
This is my dream home, a can literally see myself living here. Like, if tomorrow I would go home, and find myself here, it would just feel so natural, like I've been living here my whole life.
Building townhomes is better for the earth than building single family homes. The same number of SFH would take upwards of 5x the amount of space, meaning you’d need to bulldoze even more forests.
Thank you for sharing this hun 💕💕 That’s really sad to see this house being torn down It’s incredibly beautiful just imagine living there It’s so beautiful, the forest is so beautiful Oh my lord wish this was my home 🏠 Very beautiful
What a beautiful home. I love it. It could be a dream home for me, the layout , location etc. EXCEPT the sunken living room. I like it because it’s so gorgeous and understated and practical.
I really hope stuff is going to be salvaged from this home. The flooring and deck lumber alone are worth a fortune! Not to mention the granite, glass, fixtures, etc. what a tragedy. I love this property.
My dream is to have a large acreage and a beautiful long winding driveway like that. Thank you Mary for sharing these houses and beautiful land before they meet their very unfortunate fate
I am so sad! I LOVE this house and its location, off all by itself. It looks like it was really a beautiful place before vandals got in there. I wonder why the owners left it? And what were their original plans with all that acreage? I would have loved it for extended family homes, like a homestead. Aww, my heart hurts for this home.
The one thing that would make me hesitate about living there is finding a way to plow that driveway after a snowfall. Other than that, this is my dream!
Wow 18 million would be LIFE changing to literally any middle class American. I think a lot of young people grow numb to hearing big numbers that like because of social media and 50 million dollar contracts being thrown around the NFL and such.
I wonder if the people who loved that house will ever see this video. Even if they were moving on to bigger and better things, there is nothing you can do once it is not yours anymore and I imagine no matter what the circumstances it would be sad to see the damage even if you knew it would be demolished. Sometimes it is better not to know. All the random possessions left behind in these two houses just adds to the strangeness.

”BIGFOOT CAME AND KICKED THE DOOR IN" 👣🤣🤣 YOU'RE SO FUNNY 😂
What a gorgeous house to just be abandoned 😪
Yeah made me kind of sad
super sad
Right!? 🤯
I'd spend my life out on that amazing deck, surrounded by the trees and birds. It looks like paradise.
i kept saying that in my head while watching
PLEASEEEE continue abandoned house tours/cleaning. These are the best videos.
I doubt there are many near her. These two were on the same property.

Search "It's okay ASMR" and you'll find a lot of old school ASMR videos with that exact trigger. Enjoy.

If the walls could talk . . . imagine the memories to be shared. Just beautiful ❣️

Yup. Heartbreaking for all of the wildlife. Greed just keeps destroying our beautiful planet.
@@KateMich12 Sad but true!
Beautiful trees were obviously cut down to build this house, not to mention the trees cut down for building material for this house.
So sad for all the animals and nature in the area! It’s heartbreaking
The second kitchen is a spice kitchen. It’s really common for ethnic households. It’s where you can cook curries and stuff without staining the main kitchen and also keeps the smell contained.
I absolutely loved you going through the last house and tidying it up. I've been hoping you'd do another one xx

16:31 That scared me SO BAD!!! I wasn’t expecting a person to be standing there!!! 😂
As I mentioned, I wasn't there alone
Yeah it was like a jump scare. I thought maybe there was someone waiting outside lol
Omg I screamed so loud!!
Yes! I saw that too!! How freaky!!! Were you not scared Mary?!?!?!
She said she was not there alone. It was obvious it was her friend.

I used to watch a few realtor walk through videos for the ASMR, I could TOTALLY see you doing those! They get lots of views too.
as a person who works in alot of homes and mamy like this... its crazy how cool these older home can be
Thanks for showing this. That would be my dream house. If I were a kid growing up there I would have roller skated all over that deck. What a waste. ☹️

I sure hope an architectural salvage co can have at it before demolition 😮 so much cool stone, wood floors, granite etc.
What a waste of a beautiful kitchen that someone else could get so much use out of!! Great video Mary, I especially enjoyed the drive up the driveway - sooo relaxing 😊

I've heard them referred to as "prep kitchens", where you can do most of the work for parties and then close the door and hide the mess.

She took someone else with her. You can see the other person at 16:31 in the video.@@bbwa5319

The spaciousness and abundant nature is what made me fall in love with NC. I'd love to live there!

This house is stunning! So open and surrounded by nature. I hate that it been abandoned.
15:57 i love this so much in houses, gives it such an airy feeling.
Glad you walk through these during the daytime. I imagine it gets really _dark_ out there at night!
Great video, sad to see a waste of a good house.
Mary, I LOVE these types of videos I have watched them for years. Thank you for taking us along with you! I always wonder about the families who once lived there: who they were, the time they spent designing and decorating the house, if newborn babies were brought home there, birthdays, happy times, sad times...

Very cool! No neighbors except trees is my ultimate goal. Also, that side kitchen area off the main space is a classic butlers pantry.
This is my dream home, a can literally see myself living here. Like, if tomorrow I would go home, and find myself here, it would just feel so natural, like I've been living here my whole life.
The driving sounds in the beginning are heavenly!! 😍
400 acres 😢😢😢 So sorry, Mother Earth.

Thanks to you.....and Glenda the good witch....for the tour. I love these!
Such a beautiful home. Sad to see someone’s dream home and such beautiful architecture and nice appliances to be torn down
As a resident of NC, I claim squatters rights to this house😂
Wow, what a beautiful home just to be abandoned and torn down. I would love to live there. So beautiful!
What a beautiful house! That driveway reminds me of the road to your dad's house. Such a bummer all the beautiful land is going to be cleared.
The back porch is so relaxing imagine having a glass of iced tea back there 😮💨🥰
wow that layout is beautiful 😭
It's such a cool house in a beautiful area. So sad that those trees will be cut down. Thanks for sharing!
These are my favorite videos from you! Thank you!!
You are so welcome! 😊
Thank you for sharing this hun 💕💕

It’s incredibly beautiful just imagine living there
It’s so beautiful, the forest is so beautiful
Oh my lord wish this was my home 🏠
Very beautiful
it's a beautiful house. Love the massive deck. I'm so tired of subdivisions and liminal developments
Getting some mad Stranger Things vibes from this house.
you remind me so much of my momma, i really appreciate your videos 😊
Really loved this house. The layout was actually not weird. Loved the layout! ❤

That’s a cool house. I would be afraid of snakes and spiders though. Walking around that deck I would think anything was a danger noodle.
Bears!
I already miss it and I’ve never even know it. It’s a darn shame.
Mary, you're becoming a real urban explorer! That house is amazing. Thank you for another cool video.
the deck alone sold me 😍
”BIGFOOT CAME AND KICKED THE DOOR IN" 👣🤣🤣
Glowing in the intro, mary! ✨️ appreciate your touring my dream home..the things I could do with that , with a few 100 thousand 😂
That is my kind of house! Love it so much! That second kitchen could be a kosher kitchen, maybe?
What an absolutely breathtakingly beautiful home! Such a shame it was abandoned! Big reality needs to be stopped!
Thanks for this amazing tour, very interesting! Just so you know, you look stunning ! great choice of ; outfit, hairstyle, makeup!
Jump scare at 16:31 😂😂😂 I know she wasn’t there alone but that person was super quite
My dream is to have a large acreage and a beautiful long winding driveway like that. Thank you Mary for sharing these houses and beautiful land before they meet their very unfortunate fate
I would've given anything to own and live on this property and house. I'm the biggest introvert and it would just be a total dream for me!
This is like a shopaholics dream home, so many places to store Nick nacks haha. Loved the video ❤
How sad they’re gonna tear it down! It’s such a cool and beautiful house 😢

I would take the kitchen island and glass edged doors out and bring home
Dios mio! Que hermoso lugar! Es muy tristedemolerla. Hermosos muebles.😢😢 Muchas gracias por sus videos!! Besos desde Argentina 🤗😘😘😘
Sad for the trees!
That would have been such a great place for entertaining. Imagine growing up on all that land.
What a beautiful home. No neighbors. Secluded, large and quiet 😍 so sad it is being demolished soon 😔
Beautiful house and I prefer a quiet place to a loud and busy place! But to live in the middle of nowhere I would fell rather frightening!!
Wow 18 million would be LIFE changing to literally any middle class American. I think a lot of young people grow numb to hearing big numbers that like because of social media and 50 million dollar contracts being thrown around the NFL and such.

I’m in the same area as you and this is such a bummer.
