You would love it in the U.K. we have these sales in most towns and cities every week we call them "car boot sales" as you sell the items from your car boot. Suppose in the USA it would be an "Auto Trunk Sale"
Reminds me of what churches do here for Halloween.... their members fill their car trunks with candy and kids come and get it. They call it "trunk or treat" instead of trick or treat.

I remember fondly yard sales in Canada some 20 years ago. We had lived there briefly (couple of months) and needed some things which we would then sell on before leaving (e.g. bike, tricycle and roller skates for my daughters, a vacuum cleaner etc.). It was advertised in a local paper and located in particular streets or districts. It was a new thing for me, then, I remember people sitting in front of their houses, talking, having a drink together, while offering the goods.
This looks so much fun! I wish we had this in my country. I would enjoy looking at random people's stuff. I could get lost in there forever!
Hi Mary! I thought of a video idea of possibly going to the Furnitureland South in Greensboro, which is the world’s largest furniture store. We call them car boot sales in the UK, and they generally happen every Sunday, pretty much everywhere
